IFS Cloud – ServiceEngApp – Add purchase requisitions from MWO in Request task
Hi Experts,
If we look at request task materials tab, we have options(supply code) to add an invent order or purchase order (or shipment), however, in mWO we don’t have these options, only an inventory order register in back office for purchase inventory parts. Is there any setting to change this ? or any plans to add these options to MWO ?. Because, in previous version (work order) we had the option to add a purchase requisition in mWO but not in request task ?
Thank you for the response Alexander, I realized that this option is not available hence raised this question. Do you have any input on adding supply code field using page designer to new material assistance? i am unable to locate the exact page in the page designer.
Can you send a screenshot of the MWO page you are trying to modify?

Thank you Alexander. The form opens from command ‘Add’ from Materials form(screen shot 1). The form i need to add ‘Supply Code’ option is New Material(Screen shot 2). Also pls note that there is a form called MobMaterialReqVirtual (Screen shot 3) is not this one as i see, becuase this entity does not have Request id (has work order number) as well as Supply code list, so my guess is its the Work order form (previous version).
Looks like you found the right page. Can you not expand “Steps” and add your field there?

Can go to steps and check all the attributes available for this entity, but cannot find the one belongs to supply code or delivery method. That is why i thought this should not be the form i need. Also, this one has work order number, but not the request number, hence this form could be the older version.
Hi Roshan,
Yes, request task only supports inventory orders when created from mobile. When the tech raised the demand, service admin need to review and decide how to source that material if not already exist in the inventory.
For urgent repairs, tech has the possibility to go for ad hoc purchasing.
However if there is the need to raise direct PRs from the field, please raise it as a request along with the business case.
Thanks
Sampath
