Hello Community,When the Purchase Requisition is created from Project Demand, customer is expecting to split the line and create multiple PO for that demand to cost saving. But As the PO is created from the Project system doesn’t allow to change it directly in the PR. And he procurement team doesn’t want to go to project team every time and ask to change the demand . Is there any way to solve the issue? 

Hi All, Everything tells me this is how MRP is supposed to work, but I’m wondering if there is a setting to override this. If new demand is added on a earlier date the new shop order req sits on the existing demand date, and then there is an action proposal to reschedule the first supply shop order.See example below. Lines 6,7,8 were created last month, and the supplying shop order created at the same time.New demands 1,2,3, were added yesterday. The shop order req that has appeared when MRP ran overnight if for more supply for the July date.I would like the shop order req to be on 26/03 date instead.Version - Cloud 24R1Thank you.     

Hi,We have created a simple Custom Event against CustomerOrderLine that automatically selects the Price Freeze check box on saving the Customer Order.   This works perfectly for all but one Customer!  If I create a new Customer Order for any other customers, with any Sales Part, it works just fine.Does anyone have any suggestion as to where I can look, especially around this one particular customer, that could be causing the custom event to not trigger or its action to be over written?We have no other custom events, other than this one, for CustomerOrderLine.If you require any further information then please let me know.We are running APPS10 UP17

According to CBP our application baseline version is 24.2.0. However if I look in Setting screen, the Application Service update is 24.2.0 but the Framework service update is version 24.2.5. How can this difference happen and what is the impact?

I’m in the process of integrating an OCR/IDP tool and IFS Clouds. At the moment, Supplier invoices are the document the tool will be used with.I’m excited that IFS cloud is going to take a modern, API first, approach. I’ve been exploring the ReceiveEinvoiceService API. However, the documentation (at least the docs linked in the API explorer) leaves something to be desired. It’s got some broken English and isn’t particularly clear. I was a bit surprised by this. We have a set of manufacturers we need to remove from the system since they are duplicated. (name varies slightly) however these manufactures are connected in different places in the system. (e.g. parts, functional objects etc) we are looking for way to disable these manufactures without running any scripts. does anyone have any experience doing similar work before? Simply we want to disable all the duplicated manufacturers and keep one.

Hi All,We’re seeing some pretty severe performance hits with our Zebra Handhelds since upgrading from Apps 10 to IFS Cloud.These devices are android based and using the scanit app.It appears that if the scanner sits for 48 hours, when it is used again the WaDaCo actions take about 15-18 seconds to respond (each scan or “click”).Our fix is to reimage the device. It then works fine until they go unused again. Then they slow down.These things were rock solid in Apps 10. So this is a bad look for us with the upgrade.Any advice is greatly appreciated.Thanks,Mike  

Hi,We are on Cloud 25.1.5.We are receiving the following error when returning inventory using RMA. This is a serialized part and connected to an object which is currently sitting in In Facility. What might be the cause for this error and what is the correct step to return objects back to inventory? Cheers

Hi All, I experience that Selection Rules for Service Delivery Unit is not working in 25R2.I have set three selection rules for the service TK-AZN as below. Objective is getting a different delivery unit as per different regions. But when I creating a service, the default delivery unit for the service organization is always fetched even if I use different regions.As I remeber these rules worked fine before.Are there any workarounds other than setting selection rule to fetch the correct delivery unit? Or is it same for others?TIA:

Hello,In MWO, we have the ‘My Misc. Allocations’ screen. In IFS Cloud, through page designer I’m able to view the related commands for Add, Edit, Delete and Remove Approval for the Misc. Allocation screen until version 25R1. In 25R2 version, I do not see these options in the Page Designer. Even if we configure the projection ‘CommonMiscAllocHandling’ as Read-Only in the permission set, it does not make it Read-Only.Is there a reason why these options were removed? What are the alternatives to disable these commands from the My Misc. Allocation screen? Please let me know. 

Hi All,What is the normal process if a configuration needs changing on a customer order line where a pegged purchase order exists?Is it to cancel the line, recreate, then add the new requisition to the existing Purchase Order, or is there a way the configuration can be changed on the customer order line and replicated on the connected purchase order line?Cheers,Jamie

I’m trying to determine whether our current approach is still the best fit now that the workflow has changed regarding our budget approval process. Historically, our routing logic relied on a custom event that evaluated project category and complexity before triggering the appropriate approval path. That made sense when we had multiple routing scenarios, but we’re now moving to a single, standardized approval template that every project will follow regardless of type. Because of that shift, I’m questioning whether continuing to use a custom event is necessary or even ideal in Cloud.!--startfragment>!--startfragment>Before we invest time in refactoring or rebuilding the event, I want to understand whether Cloud offers a more native or maintainable way to initiate this workflow. Hi,In Oil and Gas extension in App10 and prior, we have a functionality that when receiving a purchase order (PO), the PO number is copied to W/D/R number in the corresponding inventory transactions and inventory part in stock. This makes possible for us to track inventory for Transport, tax, return purposes etc..As Oil and Gas extension has become a core functionality in cloud, I wonder how the above functionality is implemented. Is it as same as before or a new column is used to track the PO information?

Hello,I am creating a few new parts that I get from another site, for some reason, the new parts that I am creating are not getting a Purchasing Req when I run MRP. I get an error saying that it needs a DO coordinator. I can get the DO if I add the coordination, but I want it to be PO/CO instead. Not sure what I am missing here. Thank you!

Hi all,Can I set up default lead times in IFS CLOUD 24R2 for Shipment Orders from Site to a Remote Warehouse belonging to the same site?The Picking Lead can be set up on Site > Warehouse Management > General: Picking Lead Time.But how about the Transport Lead Time, External Transport Lead Time and Internal Transport Lead Time that are used by Shipment Orders?Thanks,Gunther

25.1.2I have seen this shortcoming in many pages, but here I am focusing on the material transactions on a Shop Order.In Shop Order History, in the Material Transactions tab there is a Notes field. This cannot be edited; the user cannot enter a note against a transaction. One would think this would be the proper place for the user to enter a note explaining why the part was unissued from the order.Why does this field exist? Is information only entered here by the system when a transaction occurs? 

Hi all,We’ve noticed that for Non‑Inventory Customer Order Lines in IFS Cloud, the Non Inventory Qty to Deliver automatically becomes 0 whenever the Planned Due Date is in the future. Could someone explain why behavior or logic behind setting Qty to Deliver to 0 for future Planned Due Dates? Hi, I’m facing with an issue trying to report MCPR time in IFS Cloud.The employee is created as master employee in company A and as MCPR file in company B. While the employee trying to report time in employee company, he receive an error message saying that he is not connected to company B. “Access denied! User xx is not connected to Company SY102”Can someone help me on this? The MCPR setup is the standard one.

I’ve got a rather generic question. I do write quite a bit of code myself. One example: We improved the performance of the part availability planning by moving some code from Order_Supply_Demand_API.Calc_Detail_Planning to Generate_Availability_Snapshot. The main culprit is that there’s a cursor get_previous_record_sum that fetches all previous records for every record there is. The first records fetches one more record, the record 1000 fetches 1000 records. It works rather well, data is loaded much quicker.To another developer, I can easily show how this improves the performance.My question: Has anyone reported such issues to IFS? In our experience, we always get in touch with a first level supporter who does not understand the details of the code and asks for a use case they can reproduce. We tried that before, it usually takes a lot of time trying to explain a technical problem in a non technical way. It’s understandable, you don’t want your core developers taking c
