How to forward a report from the report archive

What settings need to be configured in order to be able to forward a report from the report archive?

    Hi ​@Kerstin ,

    I just wanted to confirm that forward in the Report Archive is report distribution, not an email send. It shares the archive item with another IFS user or a Report Distribution Group, and that person then sees the same report entry, with the same dataset, in their own Report Archive.

     

    What needs to be in place:

    -An existing IFS user as recipient, or a group set up first on the Report Distribution Groups page (owner sets the access protection level: Public, Protected, Private).
    -Permission set grants for Report Archive and report distribution. If Forward stays greyed out after picking a recipient, look there first.
    -An archive item you can see, so one you ordered or one distributed to you.

     

    If you want the PDF actually emailed out instead, that is a different setup: an email sender under Solution Manager > Integration > IFS Connect > Setup IFS Connect > Sender, then email from the print dialog or via Report Rules.
