Hello, how can I in Shop Floor Workbench turn off slider Stop Clocking? I watched this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Dwgvnj3mZ-s&list=PL9XUi0Fh42FDgwqKwWUtp0hmx1eGwFiqW&index=37 but I am not sure how can I do this. Should I use BPA or there is another option? Thanks for all advices

Hi all,I am trying to find a solution for this requirement in the Service Management module but I haven’t found a way to do it in Cloud yet (I’m using 24R2).The situation is the following: when the engineer goes on-site and spends more than 1 hour, only AFTER the first hour is invoiceable. For example:The engineer spends 0,5 h → free The engineer spends 1 h→ free The engineer spends 1,5h → we charge 0,5 The engineer spends 3,5h → we charge 2,5I have tried to use the price breaks and add the sales part “Resource” to the price list with this condition: However, when trying to raise a job, although for the job which last less than 1 hour is free (which is what we want), if we raise a job and keep open for more than 1 hour, it charges the whole time.Do you know if there is a standard way to set up that only the first hour of resource time is non-billable? In other word, only time exceeding one hour will be invoiced. Thanks in advance.Irene

I created a Workflow Configuration (Portal and mWO) for Work Task where the action “Task Measurement” is enabled and defined as “Mandatory”.in IFS Cloud 24R2.When I completed a Work Assignment of a work task without registration of any measurement, I expected that I get a message.Is this functionality only working for mWO and not for Technician Portal?

In Work Task, the lines from Time Reports tab are missing in the Sales tab.

Hi all,Currently we are using a dedicated demand plan server installation for each of our IFS Cloud environments, which is one productive and 3 different test envionments. We are planning to move the demand plan server installations to one single host. The idea is to use a different port for each of the environments.However, when trying to run them in parallel it seems that only the service whic was started first is working.Does anyone have experience in setting this is properly?Thanks

I’m currently working on a Workflow for a customer.The Workflow shall create Purchase Orders with Purchase Order Lines for different parts.For this I need to pass the buy unit price but before I can do that, I would like to fetch the correct price first.From debugger I can see that IFS calls PurchaseOrderHandling.svc/ValidateBuyQtyDue.When trying to call this api from the workflow I get the following message:This references unsupported datatype(s)and I cannot seem to get it to work. Any expirence with this or suggestions to other api to use?OBS: price list are used for some Supplier for Purchase Parts.  

Hi Experts,I’m currently unable to close the accounting period due to the error message: “Transactions waiting to be transferred from Distribution and/or Manufacturing.” To investigate, I checked the Supply Chain and Manufacturing Posting Analysis and found 302 records with the status marked as Completed. I attempted to transfer these transactions by running the Purchase Transactions process, but no changes occurred, even though the background process shows as posted successfully. Upon reviewing the Purchase Transaction Details, I discovered that all 302 records are linked to a single calculated Purchase Order (PO) & Site. At this point, I’m unsure how to proceed, as the transactions are not transferring and are blocking the period closure. Any suggestions or guidance would be greatly appreciated.  Regards,Nikila Dissanayake

Hello,I would like to automatically pre-fill the value of the "PartNo" field in the part screen via BPA : So I created this very simple workflow: Which is triggered when you click on the "+" :  However, nothing happens when you click on it.However, if I try to pre-fill the field next to "Description", there's no problem: I have the impression that the "PartNo" field poses a problem because it's the primary key?Is this the case? Hi ,We are trying to use Spend Analysis sample BI report and it’s not loading data into the report. The tabular model is deployed, and the Supplier Performance sample BI report is working as expected, even though both reports fall under Procurement. Our customer is using version 23R1. Our customer is in 23R1. Fix this command in the report does not fix the issues as well. How can I get intersite cost to update on receipt? We want to automatically update the purchase price on Site#1 with the cost from Site#2. The part on Site#1 is setup as an intersite purchased part from Site#2 where the part is setup as Manufactured part and using standard labor costs. The PO and CO and Shop ordes are processed properly.But the costs we captured in Manufacturing with raw materials and labor time are only on Site#2. Is there a process that will update the price on Site#1 when the PO is received with the cost value from Site#2?We currently have to manually update pricing on Site#1. Thank you

On my project resource planning i engaged a tool for several hours and so I have a planned cost. Now, how can I have a real cost ? I can’t have a project transaction or a project cost because on theses tab, only resource type = Person_groupIs somebody has a solution ?My version is 23R1 

Hi,I want to create a Purchase Order Line directly in status Planned.But when I create a PO Line, it gets status Released by default.How can I configure or control the PO Line to be in Planned status when it's created?Is it possible?

We have a screen using user_def_num fields which are optional. When records are created and these values are NULL, Web Client is displaying the data as NaN.Smart Client displays no value Can anyone offer a solution so that Web Client displays no value?

Hi,I get below error when trying to create a new layout in report studio. I used the module_rep for import. The page is blank because the Report Designer failed to load the report. User feedback is that the edit pop up for pre postings is very irritating, since you have to do a mouse move to get to the next field.  In the screenshot above from my laptop the move is about 10 cm, while it’s about a 50 cm move on my external screen.Users sitting in an office just want’s to use tab to navigate between these fields.Is it possible to disable this avoid the edit dialog with a setting in Page Designer?(We are currently on 24R1 SU6)  

Community,below shop order work center R2 got 2  machines. each machine can produce 8 PCS per day (8hrs/day). I have below shop order is 16 PCS. We expect APB could assign 2 resources so that this SO can be completed in one day. But APB failed to do so, this SO is to be completed in 2 days, and only one resource is assigned. Where we missed in settings? Work Center R2 is Finite Capacity, capacity is 16hrs/day. 

We have connected a Packaging Material Part to our Handling Unit Types.When adding the handling units to our Shipment Handling Unit Structure the inventory part corresponding to the Packaging Material Part connected to the handling unit is consumed from the inventory - so far so good.However if I have the packaging material part stored in multiple inventory location I’m currently lacking a possibility to  choose which inventory location it should be consumed from.Do anybody know about such functionality?

Hi,Customer is mainly using two different types of Contract types (Cover Levels), Standard and Premium Contracts.Starndard contract Support 5 Days a week and Premium Support 7 days including Weekends as well.This means they do not Support Weekends for Standard Cover but Premium only. Question 01: How this to setup in IFS Service Contracts? for example STANDARD contracts should not allow support during the weekend but PREMIUM only? Question 02:There are contracts, the 1st hour of labour included. For example if Technicain reported 4 Hours, only 3 hours should be invoiced? How to setup this? Please help to uderstand this setup in IFS Service Contracts. Kind RegardsKM  

Good day,In a new project for 300 devices (projects 7 in total), we have and will have a situation where one warehouse index will be ordered for the entire project.Therefore, costs should be assigned to each of the seven projects, and currently it looks like this: "common" indexes are mainly attached to the first wagon of one of the projects, which disrupts the costs on the projects.We tested the method of attaching the product/index structure, but when generating later, the system does not calculate the full 1 piece, but 1.000000000000001 and it would have to be changed manually each time.Is there another solution for this?

Can you change the logo of the customer invoice report for a specific order type? This should overrule the standard company logo on the invoice.
