I’ve got my Sales Contract (SC) revision set to Audit/Contract Change Order Required/Comment Required and it’s Frozen.  When I complete a Contract Change Order (CCO) the system updates the SC but doesn’t create a new revision.  It just updates the current revision.  Am I missing something or is is designed to work that way?Thank youPatrick

Hello everyone, I would like to import an external file automatically by “External File Assistant” (Batch process) exactly like on this topic (Import external files automatically | IFS Community).Unfortunately, i’ve got a few problems with the solution. The first one was to define a value for the parameter “SERVER_DIRECTORY” in “System Parameters For Accounting Rules” but I do not have this parameter in the list.List of all parametersThe second solution was to setup a Routing Rule with FTP Reader. There was supposed to be a template named “Example_External_File_Import” but I can’t find it.Should I create it myself or maybe it’s a permission problem ? I’m on IFS Cloud (version 22R2)

Hello Community, I hope you're all doing well!I have noticed that when navigating certain pages in our Tech Portal, the record selector  automatically appears. This can be quite challenging, especially on smaller screens like iPads or mobile devices, as users have to manually hide it each time, which can be cumbersome.Is there a way to set the record selector to be hidden by default across all screens in the Tech Portal? Hi, We are currently working on upgrading our IFS 10 version to IFS Cloud 24R1 version.It was noticed that Resource tab is not available under the Prepare Work Order> Tasks Tab  Resources can be planned under PM Actions’ Tasks.We would like to know whether this is the standard behaviour in IFS Cloud or are we missing the other tabs in Prepare Work Order page due to any set up issue. Thanks,Thilochana

We are using FSM SmartClient Release: 6 Update 29 Build: 8961to send scheduling tasks (activities) to PSO 6.13.0.62. FSM sends tasks to field ops via FSM Mobile. We have multiple datasets in PSO. We also use appointment booking in FSM. Things have been working relatively OK for some time now, however several days ago we suddenly lost visibility to the PSO Scheduling Resources Gantt view for one dataset and see that the FSM schedule nightly process PSO DAILY INITIALIZE has errored out for that dataset since this past Saturday. We’ve tried to do the initialize manually through Maintain Dataset but that doesn’t work either.At this point FSM is no longer able to generate the overnight LOAD file for that dataset to synch FSM and PSO. For that dataset we get this error on the Gantt screen (you can see that when we select that particular dataset from the Dataset drop down, the result displays as “No dataset”):That dataset is configured correctly in both Modelling and Scheduling Datasets confi

How would a customer create a new custom webapp similar to the WAR files that APPSRV and GISINT use for mapping? Do you review customer requests on BitBucket, or is that only for internal use? Are the README files still valid for Cloud where our customer Git repo is hosted in Azure? (Would my webapp become available for every customer?) Please assume I have development experience outside of this framework.

Hello. We have an existing old active asset in IFS which already has depreciation recorded. We recently determined that the acquisition value and accumulated depreciation should be adjusted. For example, the current acquisition value is $100 and the current accumulated depreciation is $50, but now we would like to change the acquisition value to $150 and the accumulated depreciation to $60. Is there a way to do this? For the adjustment of acquisition value, my understanding is that it can be done via Acquisition Value Adjustment per Book. But how can the accumulated depreciation be adjusted?  We are using Apps 9u18. Any help would be much appreciated.

The Register Arrivals pages in IFS Cloud can’t be sorted by clicking column headers in 23R1. The page didn’t sort in the previous version we were on. My IT Team submitted a case and were told it is never going to sort?  No plans to make it sort in the future. Searching is great, but when our folks have a packing slip and parts in their hand it’s often faster and easier to sort 100 lines and scroll to what you need. What’s the logic behind this page not sorting so I can understand how we’re supposed to use it?

Our users have recently had some issues with the “Update Revision” setting on doc object connections, and i wondered if any other IFS users have had similar issues... On Doc basic (page) > Doc Default Values (tab) we set the “Keep_Last_Doc_Rev” setting to “R” (i.e. latest released revision). For the doc class in question, we also applied this same setting via the Doc Class management (page) > Doc Default Values (tab).We expected these settings to ensure that all doc connections for this doc class would follow that setting (unless a user intentionally edits the “Update Revision” field). Under normal circumstances, releasing a new Rev causes the old rev to become obsolete, and also causes the object connections to be moved to the Latest Released Revision (as expected)However, after a few weeks of running our process we found that several doc connections were set to “Fixed” instead of “Latest Released Revision”, and didn't really understand how it had happened (our users did not man

Hello.In the multi level structure tab, we sometimes have a negative value on the qty per assembly field. What’s the meaning of this and is that possible to update the value to set a positive value?

I have a customer who insists on having links to Terms and Conditions on the last page of a couple of reports.They used to have rather simple URLs, so I could just add the addresses in blue and underlined, and it looked and worked OK. Now, however, they have looong addresses that one typically hides with a simple text, in html it would be something like ‘<a href="https://example.com">Website</a>’. Can I do something within the Report Designer to accomplish the same in the resulting PDF?I have tried to convince the customer to use the Insert PDF option - but for some reason they do not like that.

Hi,We need to grant access to the User to modify the Posting Proposal (Eg: Modify the Code parts) in MSI but the same user should not be able to authorize the posting proposal. How can we achieve this. Could anyone please assist.

Is there a convenient or “proper” way to export an External File Template in IFS Apps 10?  Looking for an alternative to manually editing the template.

Today we use external voucher assistant, but our users find this to be a bit troublesome due to creation of excel, convert to .txt and then upload. I got a question about using a migration job instead, but before starting to build such file I want to know if someone else done this and if so, was it successful?  Thanks in advance./Tobias

Hi Experts,  Once of our customer is asking where we can set the timeout for mWO authentication?  Business Impact: Can we define the MWO session timeout.? Customer get the popup in MWO app 'Credential expired' after specific time and being asked to reauthenticate. They need know is the time user configurable? If the timeout is not configurable the customer would like to know what is the default timeout set to. Any input regarding this really appreciate.  Best Regads,Sanjana

When running MRP with the Plan Alternate Component option enabled, component part is not reflected in the MRP Part Information page tree structure and, the component part does not see the demand from its parent part. This happens only when Mutual Alternates are set up for the parent part.Environment:24.1.4Steps:Create Parts and Product Structure as shown below.   Part B and Part B-Alt are mutual alternates Create a demand for for Part A Perform Site MRP or Selective MRP for Part A Check the MRP Part Information page. Expand the tree structure you can see the demand coming from Part B in the MRP Part information record of the Part C.   It works as expected. Perform Site MRP or Selective MRP for Part A with the Plan Alternate Component option enabled. Check the MRP Part Information page. Part C does not appear in the tree structure. Search for Part C on the MRP Part Information page. No demand exists. Now, remove the Part B line on the Alternate Component Page of Part B-Alt. Check t
