We issue shelf life materials as we use them. We have instances where 1 logical location has multiple lot batches to issue for the same part #. Is there a way to have the technician scan a lot batch barcode, and then only the options for that lot batch show to be issued? We enter the Manual Issue from the material tab in Shop Floor Workbench

Move IFS_HOME from one server to another

I have a virtualized instance of IFS Apps 10 running under vmWare workstation on my laptop, fully updated to UPD18 and, as a time saver, wondered if there was a proven and safe way to “move” this copy of IFS_HOME (the middleware server folder structure) from one server to another? If anyone has any experience with this process, please share as I do not relish starting over on the new server. Regards,Bob

Event "PDF_REPORT_CREATED" does not work in 23R2.

Hello everyone,When I try to trigger this EVENT with this configuration : I receive the email, but the PDF is corrupted.When I look at the contents of the &PDF_FILE variable, I was expecting a BASE64 code but I get this: ###606fd624-e43e-43cb-92da-6839930f3736###30276###31040###Commande d'achat_2.pdfAnd I think that's where the problem lies.Have you ever had this happen?Thanks in advance.

Absence Actions

Hi Everyone, Can anyone point me to some examples of setting up Absence actions? I checked the help and it doen’t make things very clear. I’d like an absence action to be created when an employee returns to work. I can make it work partially using T-ACTION with the following parameters:1;2;2;1;10;5;10;1I’m struggling with paramter 4: Start Day Value; does anyone know what values are acceptable in this parameter? What value would I enter for the end of the absence (ie, when the employee returns). If anyone has any examples of Absence actions I’d be really interested to see. Many thanks, Scott

Replicate Changes from Customer Order Lines to pegged supply orders via Migration Job

Hi, we have a requirement to update existing Customer Orders in IFS with a new External Transport Leadtime via a migration job. When we update this manually in Apps10, the Planned Ship Date is updated on each Customer Order Line, and a dialog box pops up to allow us to replicate the changes to any pegged orders.When I update the leadtime in the migration job, the Planned Ship Date is updated successfully on all Customer Order Lines, but the changes are not replicated to pegged orders. The filter with IN clause

Hi BR experts,Could you please advise me on the following issue?When the customer orders the BR report, they get an empty report.But when I order the same report I get the report with data.To investigate the problem, I removed filters from the report one by one, until only the company filter remained. The filter looks like this: DIM_COMPANY.CODE IN &CompanyI defined it with a parameter Company with the default value: 8031,8111,8114,8115. The report appears empty, but when I change the filter to:DIM_COMPANY.CODE IN '8031','8111','8114','8115'with hardcoded values, the report shows data. Have you encountered such an issue? Do you know any solution or workaround on how to define a filter with a multi value parameter so that the report displays data?I would be grateful for any suggestions.Best regards,Adam

App10/Rest API incoming - How to log the contents of the request/response?

IFS Business Planning - Personnel Planning: what is the setup to calculate

Hello Community,What is the correct setup in IFS Business Planning to create a calculated Personnel Planning item that uses an Assumption Driver, multiplies it with personnel planning item, and outputs the values to designated account?The objective is to calculate employee social security expenses by multiplying employee salaries with an assumption driver.The salaries are fetched from HCM and stored in multiple planning units. The assumption driver values to calculate social security costs are stored in a single Planning Unit for assumption drivers. App10 Application Server Requirements

We are going to be running App10 in a few months on Windows 2012 server. We currently run App8 SP1+ and have with the following VMWare virtual server specs: RAM: 32GB O/S: 64-bit (Windows 2012 R2 Standard) CPU: Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU E5-2680 v2 @ 2.80GHz 2.80 GHz (8 virtual processors) We worked with IFS in completing the Upgrade Kit Infrastructure Sizing Questionaire and provided the above specs. I have read posts that indicate App10 uses a lot more memory. The client we work with is trying to save costs by downsizing the RAM and CPUs on VMWare virtual machines. I don’t think we should be messing with this, but I don’t have anything definitive to argue the point. Any feedback from other App10 admins/users would be appreciated.

Mass update statement After Mass insert

Loading new SSL certificate

I have received a new SSL certificate along with the Private Key but every time I try to upload the certificate it requests a password. One wasn’t provided. Is there a way to load the SSL certificate and private key into Certlm.msc without the password. Just wondering if I can load the SSL certificate and private key whether I could then export the loaded certificate and create a password that could then be used in the IFS installer.cmd or F1mage.exe. Error when configuring PL/SQL Access Provider.

We have cloned the DEV environment from the PRD database and recreated the IFS Middleware for the DEV environment. Search parameters not being applied?

I have a navigationLink in a custom page and it does take me to the desired page with the search filters in place but is like the search is not being executed, i still see the previous search.Here it is an example The search values are coming from my custom page and are correct but i have to manually click the search buttonAfter i click the search button i can see the propper record but now if i select another record from my custom page the new values in the search will be updated but the record being shown still the same as previous screenshot Once again i have to manually click the search button to update the recordDoes anyone have faced the same problem? any idea what could be happening?ps: Im aware of the search setting but this is what i have
