Hallo community!I am trying to configure IFS CLOUD to trigger a message when a Sales Part is not available that has a substitute part set up that is available.But so far, I have failed. What I found as the potential solution in the documentation is the following: But when I go to the Inventory Part Asse Classes page, there is no such parameter: Any ideas?Thanks,Gunther

The IFS Cloud Service module does not include a way to print "Survey Answers" from the IFS MWO Service app.This means Customers need to MOD the code go through creating a new report process ( i.e. creating report packages and views) even if it is a small configuration.Has anyone managed to meet these requirements without a Modification?Many thanks 

Hi,Our requirement is to add products to a contract so that we can schedule regular and ad-hoc servicing of the products.We have imported Request Contracts and Equipment Objects but would like advice on how to import Contract Lines to link the Equipment Objects to the Request Contracts. It looks like we need to import to psc_product_service_item and psc_contr_product but I feel that there is more to it than this.Any help much appreciated.

Dear community. I am working through an upgrade from Apps9 to IFS Cloud and am recreating some of the Custom Menus with Commands. I have come across the situation that didnt occur in apps 9, which is the data types in a Window with Transfer type of Menu/Command. Here is an example, a custom menu in Apps9 which transferred to Inventory Transaction History, and showed all transaction history associated with that material line, in Apps 9, the source/destination keys were ORDER_NO, RELEASE_NO, SEQUENCE_NO AND LINE_ITEM_NO mapped to SOURCE_REF1, 2,3,4 accordingly. This works fine in Apps9. In Cloud (23R1) when attempting to create the same, since the source data type in the Shop Order Material Line is a Number field, and the SOURCE_REF4 column is a String this error appears when attempting to load the Inventory Transactions History list. Error details: [{"code":"TYPES_NOT_COMPATIBLE","message":"The types 'Edm.String' and 'Edm.SByte' are not compatib

Hi, When you have a Customer Order Line and Sourcing DOP, you get Purchase Req for componets related to this demand if you have “Allow MRP Explosion for DOP Parts” set to true (and that Customer order Line is set to “Released for Mtrl Planning”).Purchase of LLIT can be done, so far so good.But when the Customer Order is released and the DOP Header is created, the demand for purchase parts is gone. This cause issues in purchasing and MRP Action Proposal/ Inventory Part Availability Exeptions shows that you have no demend. Then you create the DOP Structure, and the demand is back again.Is there some parameter I miss, as DOP Header is not seen as a demend or is it a way to automaticully create DOP Structure when the DOP Header is created?From an user perspective it’s easy to miss the step to create DOP Structure as soon as Customer Order is released and usualy this is done in two different departments in the organisation which

Hello Comminuty, I have been trying to get multiple external payments created for different cash accounts (multiple currencies) through the same CAMT054 file with no luck. Receives the following error: ExecutionException from Sender thread Caused by: ifs.fnd.connect.senders.ConnectSender$PermanentFailureException: ORA-20124: Error.NULLVALUE: Field [LOAD_FILE_ID] is mandatory for Ext File Log and requires a value. The file contains 3 notifications for EUR, USD and SEK iban numbers. Is this not supported by us or are we missing something in the configuration? When I remove the rest of the notifications and try the same file with a single notification, it works and creates an external payment for the relevant cash account.   Appreciate i

Anybody knows if there is a limitation in how many operations the can be connected to an opeartaion block?I get this error when connect 68 operations (67 works fine). Second question, You can start all operations in one block by Start Production, if a second labor shall support, you cannot join the production for all operations, join operation is disabled if select more that n record, any setting to allow join all operations in a block?  

What is the criteria to get load from DOP Order to be visible in visulized in 24R2. I have same site, part no, routing and in one DOP I get load and in unother I don’t get load. Both DOP Headers are ‘Unreleased’

There are major issues regarding performance when working in the Project Gantt chart. Even a small WBS will be a challenge and for example creating activities and creating/adjusting dependencies can take minutes.  I know this has been a challenge for several years and there are a few topics on the matter.  Can we expect any improvements in the near future regarding this issues? Running on 23R2.

Hello,I’m experiencing an issue with reservations in the Customer Order module. A few months ago we introduced new processes in the WADACO module, and since then I’ve noticed some irregular behavior related to reservations.Our workflow is as follows: we create a customer order, and once the pick list is generated, a shipment is automatically created and linked to it. The problem is that the reserved quantities sometimes change unexpectedly.For example, we sell 100 units of a product, but in the reservation view we can see a higher reserved quantity — it suddenly increases to a larger value, e.g., 120 units, without any clear reason.Has anyone encountered a similar issue or knows what might be causing this?Thanks

Hi,It isn’t possible to connect a project activity from the order object if the item has moved beyond the Planned status, regardless of whether it is a Customer Order Line, Purchase Order Line, or Shop Order. The item must be in Planned status to enable the connection.However, several customers have raised concerns about this limitation, expressing the need to have the “Connect to Activity” functionality available even after the Customer Order (CO) is released to connect projects, as this is a common scenario in real-world business operations. Thanks,Vihan Weerapura

We have a couple of report layouts that can’t be opened in Report Designer 200.3.0000The layouts work in IFS Cloud to generate printouts and they can be opened and modified in the older Report Designer for v10 (100.0.0003).The error message given, when opening the layout, in the latest version:“Mismatch between total span of value of 120 and no of columns of the table”Clicking OK on the message, the layout is closed and not possible to edit in this version. I can’t find anything in the documentation about this error, or anyone who can answer and help me how to address the issue.To be able to work around this I had to install the old version of Report designer on a different server, because the old version requires Java 8 while the new version requires Java 11 and I can’t make them co-exist on the same computer. The only location where ‘120’ exists in the RDL is in this location:                           <table

Hi,I have a mismatch between the PSO allocation and the information that arrived in IFS Cloud.My scheduling window is very large, 30 days. I have a task scheduled in PSO for 02/12/2025; however, this information did not come back to IFS Cloud. When I have an allocated date of 01/12/2025, this information does come back to IFS Cloud.

Hi.We’ve been doing some modifying via page designer on request of our users and updating some fields on the Service Contract page as “Required”. Setting fields in a Wizard will highlight a required field in red if its left empty, but this doesn’t seem to be the case on pages that do not include wizards as seen here: You can see the * next to the field name indicating its required, but even when blank its not highlighted in red. This is also the case for fields that are not custom.Are the fields not being highlighted on regular views because they’re not required for creating the pages content such as in a wizard, or is there a way to get these fields to also be highlighted? Thank you in advance.

In IFS Cloud, Functional Objects are used to build the physical/site structure, and Serial Objects represent instantiated parts with a serial number (e.g., each machine is a Serial Object belonging to a Functional Object/site).What is the recommended or reference method in IFS Cloud to: Capture and maintain the software version for each machine (each Serial Object)? Track software products installed at a site that do not have a serial number and therefore cannot be represented as Serial Objects? I have been trying to receive a shop order using an IFS REST API. main/ifsapplications/projection/v1/ReceiveShopOrderHandling.svc/ReceiveShopOrderSetI execute this request successfully. I append the correct fields, quantities, and toggle the flags to denote reception. All rolls smooth and returns and object key and tag reference.I then executemain/ifsapplications/projection/v1/ReceiveShopOrderHandling.svc/ReceiveShopOrderSet(Objkey='" + key + "')/IfsApp.ReceiveShopOrderHandling.ReceiveShopOrder_FinishExecute?"to finish the execution and flush the virtual table. Both requests are successful and return 200 status opcodes. However, nothing happens in IFS. There is zero indication any receipt was performed. I pass in the correct order number, release number, sequence number, and part number. I also append my finish request with the appropriate e-tag and object key.

Hi All,Need guidance on how to configure overtime banking in IFS. The requirement is that employees can choose to bank their overtime hours instead of being paid at the 1.5 rate. They should be able to save up to 40 hours per year. They may then take time off in lieu and also build the bank back up again within the same year. Employees should have the flexibility to either:Convert the banked overtime hours into Lieu Leave, or Receive a payout on a selected date.If anyone knows how to set this up in IFS or has experience with a similar configuration, please advise.Thank you! 

HiI am working on an integration IN IFS Cloud, where in PLSQL code I am getting the document from document management (as BLOB) and want to send it to Connect to be uploaded to ftp server using FTP_SENDER. I cannot find any method in PLSQLAP_SERVER_API that can handle BLOB message.Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.Thanks

Why this limitated actually, any idea?When i attach manually to some entity which key values parameters higher than 5 on enterprise explorer, i see CONNECTED_OBJ_REF1 .. CONNECTED_OBJ_REF5 in media_library_tab, but also i see 7 parameters on KEY_REF column. Also this entity has 8 keys field not even 7.  What is the point here?Do u know any other way? Maybe with a custom pl/sql for transform manipulation on object connection etc.Thanks.
