Hi Team, I have a question with regards to the Rollback for PCA.When I rollback the PCA I get the error “ Cannot Rollback journal when there are other jouranal created later”The background is, we ran the PCA for a period and updated to GL and we created some transactions after that and now we need to rollback the PCA to include those transactions for the allocation.In company set up we use the Rollback Mode as “Rollback” And we don’t use Journal Id’s  Why the system pulls the above error even we don’t use journal Id’s.(I am aware we do the rollback if we set up the rollback mode to Correction but still i need to check why the system pulls this error eventhough we don’t use journal ids’ Thank you Best Regards,Prabha  

Hello,I have a question regarding the Availability Check function and what it does and does not include.I am currently working in version 9 and currently using the CO Plannable field in Inventory Part Availability Planning to confirm what is included in the check.From what I can determine, requisitions and MRP planned supply/demand do not factor. This is understandable as they are not firm-enough to be considered. Shop Orders in a planned state will count as plannable supply, but the components of the shop order do not count as plannable demand. Planned purchase orders count as supply.Is there a way in to have planned shop order components and/or MRP Planned supply/demand to also be calculated in the availability check? If not, what methods do you suggest in order to have IFS provide consistent reliable dates for customer orders?Thanks in advance,Andrew

I am trying to use the IFS Report Migration Tool to convert an rdl layout to an rep layout. I get an error that states a file is missing and to please add the .XSD file to the same directory. The XSD file is in the same directory and I still get this error. I have tried both individual file conversion and the folder conversion.The file names are exactly how they were exported:SomeReport.rdlSomeReportRep.XSDIs there an additional naming convention that needs to be applied to the XSD file?  

Hi IFS Community, We are going to move documents from DB to FSS via ‘Transfer Document’ assistant. The customer is a live customer hosted in IFS Managed cloud and therefore we do not have access to File Storage. Then I have a major concern on what will happen if any technical failure happen ? Is there any chance of happening technical failure during the transfer.  I have analyze the code and here are my findings.Back ground job created for ‘EDM_FILE_API.Batch_Process’ and then execute Batch_Transfer_Handler_API.Move_From_Db_To_Fss. This create application messages to transfer each file to FSS. Then the IFS connect logic executes as below.I would like to check whether is there any chance of executing modifyLoactionName without executing actual logic for physical file transfer. The location Name in Edm_File_Tab will be changed when ‘modifyLoactionName ’ executes.  1.0 Can IFS RND consultant can check whether is there any chance of happening this ?2.0 Does any consultant among IFS communi

Hello Folks,I have run in to an issue (in IFS Cloud 23R1) with connecting a Project to a Sales Contract, where system returns an error indicating that this Project is already connected to a different Sales Contract. Which is true as I have already connected this Project to a Sales Contract that is sitting in ‘Cancelled’ status.Moreover, I have the “PUB(Project Unique Billing Toggle)” turned ON in the Project Setup Parameters for this Project.​​​I tried to remove the Project connection from the ‘Cancelled’ sales contract but system throws in an error preventing me from doing that.  Thereafter I toggled off the “PUB(Project Unique Billing Toggle)” since ideally that should take out any restrictions on one Project can go on one sales contract validation.  Then I created a brand new Sales Contract (3rd one, 1st once is already “Cancelled”, 2nd one “Proj. connection failed” with an error as seen on first screenshot) since I thought 2nd Sales Contract was created while I had the “PUB(Project

Good morning all,Hope you are doing well.I’ve got this problem here and I am not sure whether it is possible to add a field to a custom Aurena Projection from a different screen which I believe the projection is based on?I’d like to add to “Analysis Result list”:A field called “Note text” from Analysis result screen: This simply would be additional field in the dropdown menu in “Analysis Result list” screen.I believe that “Analysis Result list” is based on the “Analysis Result” I understand this cannot be done via Custom attributes. This seems to be related to how IFS APP10 handles consignment stock consumption and invoicing when partial reservations exist across multiple lot/batch numbers. Specifically, when a customer performs consignment stock consumption at the header level. Consignment part: 80890121 Customer order created: 41883388 Reserved quantities in order: 50 → Lot 3107518---1 1150 → Lot 41826419-1-1-1 Consumption scenario: Quantities were consumed from the Customer Consignment Stock Consumption window at header level. Total consumption: 1150 The system actually consumed stock from lot 3107522---1. The reserved quantities in order 41883388 were not affected. Hi all, I understand that we can use projection actions and event actions to trigger workflows.Clicking a button or performing any human action in the web client triggers a projection workflow (e.g., validation, user interaction, or process enhancement).My question is: what happens if we call the IFS Projection API from our own backend? Will the workflow still be triggered by the projection action, particularly for workflows that require user interaction? In this case, there is no web page involved because it is all backend.Thank you.

When creating an employee in IFS Cloud the field Assignment becomes mandatory. This is not really applicable to subcontractors. Any advice?

Dear All, Requesting your valuable advice on this.We process the inter-site related invoice through the E-invoice process. We were able to generate the external supplier invoice accordingly.The auto generated MSI will contain the multiple lines as per the tax code wise. But we need the one-line item per tax code. (One MSI will have multiple tax codes)  this is due to the government regulations.Is there any way we can group it or tax code wise only in the E-invoice process we need to avoid the multiple line creation in the external supplier invoice.   RegardsNaadira

I’m working with the Vendor 1099 report (VEND1099_INFO_REP), and I’ve created an excel plugin file to export the results to excel.  Some columns are working and providing data, but there are some columns which are empty.  For example, MISC_1099_INCOME_AMOUNT_PAID has no data, but some other columns do.  When I use the default report designer layout, this works and I see data in all fields.  When I query the _REP view, I also see data in all fields.  I’ve tried both excel and CSV plugins and neither format will export the values in this MISC_1099_INCOME_AMOUNT_PAID field.  This is version 24.2.13.  Thanks in advance!

Why would the duration be different on two clocking when the start and stop times are the same?  Note the screen shot below… the duration on 11/6 is 3.87 hours, but the duration on 11/10 is only 1.48 hours.  It appears that the system is doing something different on Mondays but it’s only impacting certain employees.

Hi,I need some help with Supplier Warranty on a workorder in Apps10. In the warranty I have marked that the material should be paid by the supplier and that the personal cost should be paid by us.When issue material it creates two lines under the Sales tab and that is the way is should be but when adding a time report line it creates a line as well under the sales tab with a invoice value and that is not according to the warranty. Any ideas what I’m doing wrong

Hi Team,We are looking to enforce a single-device policy for Field Technicians to avoid mobile sync and MM queue issues.Could you kindly confirm: Is there any supported configuration or parameter in FSM to restrict an FT to one active mobile device? Is there a supported API/projection to reset or invalidate existing device registrations? Is multi-device usage an intended design behavior or a known limitation in FSM, and what is the recommended approach from IFS? Thanks in advance for your guidance.

Hi,In previous versions of IFS, we used the Route Work Order functionality which is now not available in IFS Cloud. The business is keen to re-implement this behaviour back into IFS, however we are not sure which features/functionality effectively is the replacement for Routes in IFS Cloud.Currently we are using IFS Cloud 24R2, and plan to move to 25R2 later this year. Any guidance or pointers to other community articles and documentation would be appreciated. ThanksShaun

Hello,We have 600+ users, and we are migrating ifs 8 to cloud 24r1.Our users are making their profile personnalizations on a test environment, and we want to export those to import in the future prod environment.There is no mass export / import functionnality.I built a postman collection to do the mass export.But I don’t understand the http calls process for the import one.Here are the calls for the import :There is no file sent in the body, so I don’t know where i got to send it, how.I saw this post below but I don’t like the plsql solution.I need a full export, we don’t want to have only parts, I saw there is multiple tables for the user profile personnalization.I know using HTTP calls guarantees data integrity this is why I want to go this way.​​​​​​Any one have an idea how to make a full export / import of user profile personnalizations ?thank you for your help

Hello,In IFS Cloud 25R1 while creating a price rule within service management module, we are able to include the cost type for a certain type only once in the rule. For example: If a material cost type is included for a sales part and if we try to include a second material cost type for another sales part, the system throws an errors stating that ‘Price rule line already exists’. Customers have requirements to enter more than one entry for a specific cost type. Is this a bug or intended feature? Please let me know. 

Hi IFS Community,We  have deployed the ifs-monitoring namespace to a remote environment. The namespace was created successfully and all the deployments/stateful sets and other objects are up and running. Afterwards, we used the credentials available in the directory - ifsroot\config\secrets to log into Grafana and Kibana dashboards.While the login attempt to Grafana was successful we are unable to log into Kibana using the credentials available in the directory.  We noticed that inside the elasticsearch pod there is a file named – elasticsearch-reset-password. Is there a method to reset the password?Thanks in advance.
