would like to see summarized demand for a part at a global level.  like inventory part availability but not to have site as a filter in the header.  and then the supply and demand lines would have to display site.

@Anneemaree, you can refer to the Inventory Parts Availability Planning screen, and additionally summary could also be enabled for Demand/Supply columns.

Other option is to configure a quick report.

How to manage global demand of a manufactured part

@Anneemaree ,

Managing global demand for a manufactured part in IFS typically depends on how you structure your supply chain and planning setup.

A few common approaches:

  • Use Multi-site planning (MSP) or supply chain matrix to connect sites and allow demand to be visible across locations

  • Define distribution networks so demand in one site can trigger supply from another

  • Use central planning (MRP/CRP) to consolidate demand and generate supply proposals

  • Consider using a main supplying site or “hub” that produces the part and distributes to other sites

Also ensure:

  • Inter-site demand and supply parameters are correctly configured

  • Lead times and transfer routes are defined

In general, global demand is handled through planning + inter-site supply setup rather than a single “global demand” feature.

Thanks
