Hi Team, Several tests were done on the AURENA Time Registration view to query the employees list.Kindly remark the following point when querying data:To look for an employee based on the Internal Display Name, currently using the character % as wildcard.During tests, it was remarked that in the advanced query generated by IFS, the '%' is replaced by '~' and it seems that the '~' is more efficient.What is the IFS recommendation on filtering in AURENA: Shall we use % or  ~ as the wildcardThank you and Best regards,Kalhari.

Hi Customer got a Bug installed 156965 that changed the edit button in Aurena . If you want to have the edit button only for just one company in the system and not have it for the other companies, would it be possible to do so ? 

Hi, I am not able to change the language to Arabic in Aurena or IEE.

I am system administrator but when it come to absence in Aurena I only want to see my direct reports for absence Regardless of them having an absence booked 

Hi all, Under Project → Tasks we have noticed that the LoV for the Responsible field shows all Person’s that exist in our system (even those that have left over the years).Looking at the person record there is no way that I can see to obsolete or make a person inactive to stop it showing in this LoV. There are other areas such as procurement where you can make the buyer obsolete/inactive to stop them showing in such lists.I took a guess that there might be a system definition to do this much like in the way you can hide a middle name of a person but no luck there.Does anyone have any ideas to a way to do this for the Person?RegardsNathan

Looking to see if anyone has been successful in using the EmployeeInteraction webservice to create a new employee in IFS9. Using Boomi as the Integration platform and I can send data to IFS and get a response back of Message 4224503 has been posted to queue DEFAULT But once released, it does not create the employee, trying to find some type of logging to state why? I purposely only pushed over a few elements to cause an issue as I want to know what variables are required. Thanks in advacne.

I am not able to see the time registration grid view in Aurena though its working fine for without grid view.. The moment we click on grid view we get blank details without any data and after few seconds its shows Nothing found ...Its IFS10 UDP10. Any suggestions or help..

Hi all,Apps 10 upd 11.Have an issue whereby employees who have ongoing absences. In that the Date_to is not filled in and ongoing is ticked. Each day the ongoing absence is automatically ended even though the employee has not clocked back in and is still on leave. There are no other conflicts with other absences to end the ongoing one.There is a background job which auto forwards the date_to each day at 12.10pm which runs fine with no failures.The only error message received is “absence configuration error” in time card day.What should happen is that the date_to should update every day to the sysdate when ongoing is ticked.Its a bit of a strange problem and im not sure which of the many absence config params would solve this so any ideas would be appreciated.   

Hello, We are using IFS 10 in my company and had generate the limit of the vacation leave for all employee. 22 days is the limit balance but for few employee is generated less due to something called (Negative Carry-over)

Hi All,Once I hide tab “Plans” in the base profile. The window “My Absence calendar” does not show up properly for some users.  Request Tab is now hidden behind “December”  as shown below.I tried to change the tab margin for the personal profile but new margins are not saved !!   Much appreciate any help  

Hi, when we enter time in Apps10 Aurena (After a certain time period - non consistent) we receive an error ‘Authentication error’ Human Capital Management/My Self-Service/My Time and Attendance/My Time RegistrationWe are currently using Azure connection. ISSUE/QUESTION:Run a report with below method "IFSAPP.Comm_Method_API.Get_Default_Value_Person('AURGOITI','MOBILE', address_type_ => IFSAPP.Address_Type_Code_API.Decode('WORK'))" in order to obtain the email and the mobile phone associated to the coordinator’s work address.It could be a quick report, order report, or in crystal reports As per the help text of the 'Protection' check box, as long as the 'Work' address is selected, 'Protected' function should be overruled. But it doesn't.      Employee - > personal - > Address RESOLUTION/ANSWER:According to the help text …. “If this check box is selected, the personal address as well as communication data will be hidden to all users without specific access to communication data. However, this check box is overruled when communication data is connected to an address with Work as the single address type. The information is protected for all employee numbers of the person that exist in the database. Only users with access to protect

Currently we don’t use IFS for time reporting but will do so when we implement time report on work tasks and on project activities. However, we have found there are three scheduled tasks regarding time reporting running daily and once an hour respectively. We have not found any documentation about what these tasks do. Can someone help out and give us an explanation of the respective task? Clean Up Temporary Timrep Week Table - scheduled daily at 2:30Generate Timrep Intervals and Hours - scheduled daily at 00:10Calculate Unprocessed Timrep Intervals - scheduled every 1 hour.  IFS Application 10, upd 8 (O&G Ext)

We are in the discovery phase of apps 10 moving from IFS8. We would like to use the personal data management to control to delete old colleagues information from the system once they have left for 7 years. Any ideas how i set this up?

Hi, Some of the timeclock functions can only be used when set to manual (not carddriven).We would still like to be able to swipe the card and get the employee no fetched in those function.Is thit possible even when employee card parameters is set up with card data contains employee card?Right now when we swipe the card from the employee no field we get the card no in there.Card parameter is setup properly since it works in the card driven function. Thanks in advance for any advice or tip!/Anna

I’m setting up a standalone pc for timeclock services and I got this error when logging in. User has been give admin right to the timelock folders and the correct timeclock oracle user has been tested.  Please advise. Thank you. “TImeclockTerminalData.dat” 

 When we go to the Time Clock window in IEE and click on Time Card button, we can enter the company and employee in the fields and click on ok.Then the time card will be displayed and we have the option to Print.When you click on the Print button:Ideally the preview should be shown in Acrobat Reader DC and you will get a dialog box to save the print output.But in my customer’s scenario when you click on Print button, the preview opens for about a second in Acrobat Reader DC and it gets closed automatically.Any suggestions on why Acrobat Reader automatically closes the file?

Hi All, When using the Time Clock terminal, a user swipes the card using the Time Clock Device to register an Absence Request and the IFS Application should fetch the Employee Number. Instead the user gets the below error.“Wrong employee number.
