In the person table we have various Access group for a region and now we want to have combined data of various access group for that region.Can we use Organizational hierarchy table for that or we can have some other option also in the person table to combine those access group.

Is it possible to add training calendar available in HCM to outlook calendar in IFS Apps10?

Is it possible to safely attach the P60 pdf to the employee self-service in IFS.It’s a shame that along with the Payment Details tab and Payslip tab there wasn’t another tab for document attachments that only the actual employee could only see the attached document being the P60. Thought of document management > objects connnections but locking each P60 to the actual employee within the self-service section.  But would document management be secure enough to stop other employees seeing someone elses P60 information. If not, does anyone know whether it would be possible for employees P60 pdf to be locked with a separate password and then emailed to the employee? Thanking you in advance. John

Hi AllWe’re running every hour a task  Create Absence for Next Day which calls Time_Pers_Diary_Util_API.Forward_Absence__ For unknown reason for some employees we’re getting text: Error while processing record for Company ID xxx, Employee No xxxx and Account Date 2021-07-16 : ORA-01843: not a valid monthWhen I tried to debug this, it’s a procedure: Absence_Registration_API.Proceed_Ongoing_Abs which actually triggers an exception.What could be possible reason for that issue?/Wiktor

Hi Team,Please let me know whether there is any functionality to set the Employee Status as terminated or similar, depends on the Employment End Date.  Setting the Status through (RMB options) set Employee Status or Terminate Employment is not an option as user has to manually track the Employment End Date.

Hi,Does anybody have any documentation as to what Employee Self-service actually includes?Background: we looked at the employee web client in 7.5 but never did anything with it.We now have Apps 9 and we are looking for a solution where employees can update personal data, view payslips etc.. but I can’t find any information/screen shots of what “Employee Self-Service” actually can do. Also does it require a full IFS license or a LTU licence?Can employees access from a website or do they need to be logged onto the company network? Is this available through an app on mobiles so that they can update it themselves.We are also investigating upgrading so feedback from Apps 9 or 10 would be great. Thanks

Hello,We are planning to change our Pension provider in the coming months, and subsequently we need to do some setup in payroll and then migrate employees across to the new pension provider.We  have a number of existing contribution types linked to the existing pension provider via Institution id. We need to re-align the contribution type id to new institution ids setup for the new pension provider.Once this is done, we can then look to amend the employee contributions within Payroll Information to end date the existing and create new contributions for the new pension.Are you able to advise how we go about this please?RegardsShaun

Hello Every night we run “Background Job” for “Batch_Schedule_Chain_API.Run_Batch_Schedule_Chain__” this produces some Warnings which we would like to clear. Two types mainly:“Person <PERSON> has Use HR Schedule check box selected, but no employee is connected to the person.” - this is when Employee is no longer active, simple solution is to remove “Use HR Schedule” from “Resource Detail → Details”, another option is to set “End Date” to “Resource Detail → Capacity Basis”. “Person <PERSON> has Use HR Schedule check box selected, but has no employment with a valid schedule.” - This is the warning we get when Employee Schedule have end date somewhere in the upcoming year (usually permanent employees have schedule with end date of 9999-12-31). For example we have employees with the fixed term employment ending later this year. What would be the common method to avoid this type of warning? I wrote a small projection to download documents. It seems that we can’t assign BLOB variables with large size to binary variable in Projection (like more than 200KB). Is there a workaround for this?I tried to use “CreateAndImportDocument” service provided by IFS and use method ” Invoke action CheckOut”, but failed (get “ODP_DESERIALIZATION_ERROR”)Do you have any suggestions to download large files?

Does anyone have a off system excel template for time entry they would be able to share ?  I have a data migration job setup to load time but wanted to see if there was other examples out there ?

I need to un-authorize a employees time registration due to error and the direct supervisor who approved the time is off sick, as the system manager with IFSAPPALL per set I Cant seem to un-authorize employees time registration due to incorrect time bookings, I have all the permissions granted and am a HR application manager. Any ideas please?????

Can anyone advise how to get IFS report/SQL to calculate the number of days sick leave days in a specific month e.g. November, when the Absence may be registered over two months as one occurrence /absence ID. Example:  3 days in November  (last the days of month - M/T/W)2 days in December (first day of Month T/F)One occurrence of 5 working days I would like to report 3 days in November and 2 days in December

Hi,I’m trying to upload absences using migration job connected to ‘External Absence Import Type’ window. However, when executing the background job this error displays “ORA-20110: ExtAbsImportTransaction.NOPOSTIMPORTFUNCTION: External absence validation function  not defined for format EXT_ABSENCE”Same error can be recreated from the application. Is there something to do with basic data setup?below is the external absence import type I have used. Any idea how to solve this error?Thank You

in SAP it is possible to delegate an authority level for another employee during the Manager’s vacation. Is it available in IFS, so that POs, postings etc can be authorized by another person during only the vacation of a Manager. Can you please help understand how to do it with screenshots maybe? 

Hi,When I approve absence requests the status change and go directly to authorized status (not the approved), the system bypass the approve status. How to stop this? Please advice.Thank You

HiI have a question regarding sick-leave and increment that I do not completely understand.I studied the topic entered some time ago but I don’t feel that I completely understand it. So here is my problem:Day 1 the sick person should not have any salary - one wage code for that and snould have no increment.Day 2 the sick person should have sick-leave pay - another wage code for that.AND the person has also right to increment from sick day 2. If I report sick-leave to the system then understand that I move from absence period 1 (where I get no pay) to absence period 2 (when I should get paid) “automatically”? Or do I have to report this absence two times? And if I want the person to get paid according to the schedule I guess I should choose absence calculation period type “Working hours” and nothing else? Grateful for any hits and tips here!

Hi I have registered few absences for the year 2021. However, Used/Unused absences are not calculated. I have removed year limit and generated again but no luck. What could be the possible reasons? Thank You 

Hi,I’m Using IFSAPP and has HR Application Manager Access as well. However, now I’m not able to uncheck this boxes in Protected Info. Also note that, Protected checkbox is neither checked in ‘Person’ window for any person nor in ‘Employee Files’ in window in any employee.Any guesses?Thank You

I am trying to get a new employee set up at a Maintenance Resource.  I have created his User ID, Person ID and Employee ID.  These all match another employee that is already set up.I went into the Resource Navigator and added him as a Person.However, when I go to the Resource Detail, in the Maintenance Employee tab, his Employee ID does not populate, so I can’t add him to a site.Does anyone have any idea what I am missing?
