Licenses at IFS implementation

Hi, 

 

I want to know is the IFS policy on the licenses at the stage of project implementation of IFS CloudR1

Is it required to buy the full licenses by the customer even at the beginning of the project implementation or is there any license type for test environment installation for the implementation phase?

Or as the last resort, should the customer at least buy few full licenses enough for their consultants in the early phase.

Hi  Methshika,

Let me answer to your question:

So, this really depends upon if , Customer is already an Active Customer in IFS and using IFS applications .In that case you may already have access to the licenses and will only need to purchase the additional components which is not there in the older version.

And if it’s purely for a new Customer; then yes you will have to buy the Licenses upfronts as a part of Contract but you can decide how many Number of User Licenses you need at the beginning(as per the current need ) and you always have flexibility to purchase additional license later on .
