We want set conditional formatting to a base profile in below two screens.

Base Profile = Equipment

Time Card > Clocking > Trans Type

  • Human Resource > Employee Self-Service > Time Card – Day > Clocking tab
  • Field = Trans Type
    • Limit selection to In Normal only
    • Or turn off the field being Mandatory

Customer Order Lines > Supply Code

  • Sales > Order > Customer Order > Order Lines tab
  • Field = Supply Code
    • Limit selections to: Purch order trans, Invent Order, Shop order

We have tried this but have unable to apply it to a profile and have it “stick”.

Below you can see we changed the options in the field but when we go back to the customer order, we can see all normal options.

we reloaded the configuration and restarted IFS as well.

The print screen below shows that after applying the conditional formatting to the Base Profile Equipment and refreshing the screen, the Supply Code list isn’t limited.  We also tried logging out/logging back in but the conditional formatting doesn’t stick.

Creating the question on behalf of customer. Related to the LCS case G2295852.

Hi @Manoj Balasooriya,

Did you try below steps to add your conditional field changes to base profile? If no, please try them as well.

  1. Go to Solution Manager> User Interface> User Profiles> New Base Profile window
  2. search for your ‘Equipment’ base profile
  3. Click on ‘Set as active in current session’. This will load the base profile.
  4. Then add your conditional field changes to above windows
  5. Restart the application. when you restart it will as to save the base profile. Press yes for those messages.
  6. Then login with appowner/admin
  7. go to Solution manager. Security> Users window
  8. Find User = <give your user id who need above Equipment base profile>. Search. This will load your end user details.
  9. Go to User Profile node
  10. Set user’s base profile as ‘Equipment’. Save
  11. then login with that end user and check if end user can see the conditional field changes on above windows.

Hi @Piumi Rubasinghe, thanks for your reply. This was tried but it hasn’t worked. AMS team identifies it as a bug which needs to be reported to RnD since F1 documentation functionality is not working in the core application. So it is under investigations in a support case.
