My question is 2 fold:

1 - Has anyone successfully implemented custom F1 help in Apps10 in IEE?

2 - Is custom F1 help available in Apps10 Aurena?

Hi @jporter

  1. To customize the F1 help within Enterprise Explorer, you only need to apply a different URL in the system parameter

After changing the URL, you can actually use any page. To “activate” the changes, you have to restart the Enterprise Explorer.

The only thing to clarify is that you need the proper htm files which the system is applying to the URL you provide.

So you could create a copy of the currently available documentation from the server in another place and change the files to what you need.

  1. In Aurena you can not configure a F1 help as this is always related to the program you are using. The F1 key will always open up the help from the browser.. The online documentation link will use the system parameters as well as the Enterprise Explorer.

So I guess if you want to use some other documentation than the standard, you might create a copy of the current one, put it on another server and change it. But please be aware, that you will not be able to index the documentation as this is only available by the SolR Search on the middleware Server.

Kind regards,

Tobias
