Does any one know if it possible to disable the embedded browser within IFS EE? (IFS apps10) Or anyone aware of a road map for the embedded browser? :) Just to clarify, I am NOT referring to the opening of EE By decoding the headers in the request it show IFS is making use of IE11 and the end of life has been announced by MS. Once IE is no longer supported, a number companies will lose their accreditations. In particular for the UK, the Cyber Essentials from the NCSC, that requires all software to be supported. It looks like we are unable to change the browser from this postEmbedded browser IFS Enterprise Explorer | IFS Community All responses are welcomed, Thank you 

I  am using the Link list lobby element and the data source value is a negative value(amount)  the Link list is showing the other positive and zero values but not the negative value. I looked at forum questions and in one of them they mentioned to change the amount to text to make it visible  and i tried that too but sill my negative amount is not visible. I tried currency, decimal , number options in the data source but none is showing this particular negative value in the lobby. Need help. We want to set up AutoBuilder to use Subversion in a new APPS 10 enviroment.The APPS 10 documentation says that it is basically possible to use a control system other than Harvest. But the setup of AutoBuilder requires Harvest (see attached screenshot) and the setup will not continue.How can fix that?

Hi all, I want to limit access to a persistent custom field in a particular screen. For example, only members of a certain department should be able to tick this checkbox. Is there a possible solution within IFS without the need for additional customizations (i.e. without the need for a Custom Event if possible) Thanks

We are running IFS Applications 10 with authentication using ADFS (sso). 8 hours after logon IFS Applications (IFS EE) crash without possibility to save work first. This is due to technical limitations in the IFS Client and according to IFS Support it will not be registered as a bug. The suggested workaround is to change the below parameters in ADFS to delay the timeout. KmsiEnabled=true SSOLifeTime=1440 These global settings in ADFS we are not allowed to change (for example due to that will affect a lot other applications using ADFS). Anyone else facing this problem? Any suggestions of other workarounds?   Regards, Björn

Hi All We are on IFSv9 (Oracle 12c) and have yet to utilise the In-Memory functionality. Our database is roughly 500Gb in total size, with 470 global users. We have 300Gb of free RAM on our physical database host waiting to be used. I would love to know if you have made use of In-Memory. Did you see a measurable improvement on performance within IFS and more importantly if there are known pitfalls I should avoid. Would love to hear your experience of this feature, good and bad. Hello, I’m trying to build a process enrichment BPA in workflow designer. Is there any way to debug the execution of the event action that triggers the BPA?  Usually if the BPA fails, I just get a generic error message propagated in Aurena.Unexpected internal server error occurred. Hello all you very kind and helpful folks.I’m needing help with navigating from the lobby count element to a page view. Below is the Data Source and as you can see I can’t use the Condition section as navigation parameters so I’ve added the MCH_CODE to the Order by to use, but it doesn’t appear to be working.The Element designer as you can see has been set up to navigate to the Equipment Object Navigator page and use the data source Order By. Now the element when in a lobby page will navigate happily to the page but doesn’t bring any data back - any ideas please?  

We have a request form a customer, to have separate timeouts for different users or user groups.Customers exact use case: “ Regular users such as Finance people, to have a timeout of 60 minutes. The people using scanners and other transactions in the plant and warehouse to have the timeout set to unlimited.”I tried the option in oracle user groups in an App10 environment by setting the Idle Time property for a set of users(for a oracle user group), but it seems not working as we expect. Any workaround has  identified for this setup?  

In IFS 10 we can use REST (for integrations) services with Basic Authentication.However, Basic Authentication is disabled by default in IFS Cloud and we cannot use it.In some cases we don't want to use Open Id.How can we re-enable Basic Authentication to use it in IFS Cloud?   We would be very happy if we see a solution.Thanks to community!Best regards,

Hi folks, We have a customer who did a vertex integration (O series - cloud version) with IFS APP 10. As per the IFS documentation, system supposed to bring the Jurisdiction Code from Vertex, but is functionality is not working.  But when I create the customer order, IFS fetch the tax rates based on the address.    Any help would be great. Best Regards,Sadeepa

The announced feature from the 5 in 5 sessions regarding aurena client session tracking is not available in the currently available demo.this should be available in the IFSIAM, Client Sessions. But it is not there.Announced but forgotten? This had been requested by some customers now and would really be beneficial.Please check on this issue

Hello, We are currently running IFS Application 10 Update 8 but plan on upgrading to Update 13 shortly.  Our IT department has announced they plan on upgrading everyone to Windows 11 in January 2022. Does IFS have a date and IFS Application 10 Upgrade package they plan on certifying support for Windows 11?   We’ve got two machine currently running the Beta copy of Windows 11 and everything seems to work fine except we are not able to install IFS Business Reporter.  We get an error about the Office Primary Interop Assemblies have not been installed.   On a Windows 10 machine running the same Microsoft Office 365 x64 suite we can successfully install IFS Business Reporter.   Microsoft hasn’t released a new release of the Primary Interop Assemblies since Office 2010 and we believe this is the issue. Regards,William Klotz

Hello,We have been struggling with maintaining our IFS APP servers (Windows, APPS10). We have developed a list of procedures to gracefully shutdown all IFS services (using mws-svr.cmd), verify all Java processes are stopped, apply Windows updates, then reboot the server.After waiting for up to 30 minutes after reboot, none of the node manager services are running on the rebooted server. My memory may be failing me, but I am almost certain that the IFS MWS services used to start up automatically after reboot, and the Windows Services related to IFS MWS (which we have been told never to manipulate via the Windows Service console) do not start up even though they are configured to start “Automatically”.The basic question, then, is: Are the IFS MWS services supposed to start on their own after a reboot, or should we anticipate always needing to start them manually? If manual operation is expected, why? IFS should be be running with a high--availability paradigm in place. As I said, I am al

Does IFS offer any training for using the Aurena Page Designer?  I’ve found the documentation for the process, but we are thinking training from IFS in how you should make changes and customizations would hopefully allow better management of these changes and prevent issues and headaches in the future.  Also, overview of how changes might come into play with security in Aurena.
