We would like to hide or disable  the ‘remember password’ checkbox in the IFS app9 login.  Does anyone have an answer as to how to accomplish that?

I have created a tiny IAL and scheduled it for a specific daytime, but nothing happend. Even intervall 1 minutes does not create a background job. When executing the IAL manually, it works well: Where can I look at to find out, why there is no background job created? Any help appreciated. Thanks 

I’m having trouble viewing my custom field on my screen in Aurena.  The field is available in IEE but, it doesn’t show in “List View Settings” or “Table View Settings”.  So, it’s not viewable in Aurena.  Is there a trick to getting it to show?  It’s a simple field on the Sales District page.

Hi All, One of our Apps 9 customers receiving OracleException: "Connection request timed out"  error when calling RetchaReceiveUtility BizApi. But the request is processed in the database and the customer order is created.Which timeout setting could be applicable here? Regards,Damith

I am looking to see if anyone has any advice on the syntax required by a custom task schedule in Apps 8 that I am trying to implement to run a specific task on the last day of the month.  Using Oracle 11.2.0.3.0 database and cant find any specific advice as to whether the syntax is different.  This string works on later versions.   

For a customer we need to create Lobby’s in IFS 10,  Aurena UPD 11.Now we are facing a problem when using the option “Use data-source condition” when navigating to an Aurena page/list.In some cases it is not using the data-source condition. I have create an example on the environment:  https:\\lkpcosdemo3.corpnet.ifsworld.com:48080 Counter “Customer Orders Planned” will navigate to Customer Orders, showing 3 records as expected.Counter “Test Cancelled SO upd12” will navigate to Shop orders List, showing all records instead of 12.Can you tell me if I did something wrong, or this is a bug ?

I tried editing the selector in Warehouse Navigator page using the Page Designer, but so far I haven’t figured out how to do it. Has anyone else done this already? Are we even able to edit the these nested/embedded navigator selectors? My client would like to have for example the description next to “Warehouse ID” or “Bay ID”. I tried editing the selector available but it didn’t have any effect.

Hi All, I have exported some data from an IAL using a migration job which has successfully saved the file onto a server file path defined in the Oracle database.  I can see that the file has been created. What I would like to do, is to pick that file up on an Email Custom Event. I have tried the local file path but keep getting issues to say that the file does not exist.  Unsure if this should work or if there is a different approach to take - any help would be appreciated.  

Hi,I have a question regarding the way the Oracle job queue processes are used by IFS.I have noticed in other posts the number of job_queue_processes should be initialized at number of IFS batch queues + 5 and that is what has been set up for my customer.But what we have noticed is that even if several jobs are posted in different IFS batch queues they are not all executed in parallel.For example we have 17 queues in IFS and have set up the job_queue_processes to 22 in the oracle database.We had at least 6 queues with several lines in state Posted.But when checking at the execution of the queues we never had more than 3 jobs running at the same time. I know some jobs can be executed very fast but when checking at the latest executed job on some of the queues it could happen that none of the jobs has been executed for about 1 hour.I assume that this is due to the ressources the current executed jobs are consuming and that the database has to be sized correctly but I would like to know h

When I create a new Command Group, I can specify the Parameter Mappings for that Command (Type of Command Group: ExcuteAction).However, I don’t see any option to change the Parameter Mappings of already created Command Group item. I’m in the Page Designer view of my Custom Page and all I need to do is I would like to amend some Mappings I entered when I initially create my Command Group.Can you please advise how can I achieve this? 

I’ve started developing integration web service for Apps10 in Developer Studio 10.82, have create a Test.webservice and generated java files. Then I’ve deployed those to a local application server @ localhost and successfully tested some methods.Now my requirement is to deploy Test.webservice to already working remote test environment to check if this service will appear in IFS Interface browser so that our clients could start using it. Unlike one-click deployment to a remote database, application server is only local; at least I had no luck selecting one from Tools/Servers.I have /dist server and services packages compiled, but what would be the quickest and easiest way to deploy those onto remote application server (‘int’ - I assume)?

Has anyone experience of Apps 9 on Windows 11. We are about to start feeding devices though - and would be interested in feedback. I am aware that Apps 9 will NEVER be certified for Windows 11. Thanks, Matthew

Hi, We have an issue that the HttpServer1.log files grow rather quickly and doesn’t rotate/stop until they consume the whole disk. Where can we set the max size for HttpServer1 logs?   Their path is: <IFS_HOME>\wls_domain\<instance>\servers\HttpServer1\logs\HttpServer1-yyyymmddHHMMss.log

Customer has an IAL that is selecting IFSAPP.Customer_Order_API.Get_State which in the end calls Customer_Order_API.Finite_State_Decode_ and in there retrieves the status via Domain_SYS.get_Translated_Values without language parameter. Language parameter is default Fnd_Session_API.Get_Language.Customer wants the result in German but setting default language on user ifsapp and ifsinfo to German did not work - result is still english when running as scheduled IAL.Executing IAL manually uses the current language.Setting IAL-Queue language to German did not change it either.  Is there a way to set language for the session of the IAL job?Or do I have to implement API Function that takes language as parameter and pass it through to Customer_Order_API.Finite_State_Decode_ ? Thanks for help

I have created a report in Crystal and saved locally - when I deploy the changes to the IFST/Layout folders the changes are not showing.  I have stopped and restarted the MWS but this has not fixed the issue.  Does anyone have any advice  ?

Hello,I am trying to develop canned routines to generate External Search URLs that will fire up IEE on a specific form and record. This will also be useful for firing up Lobbies with different criteria entered (when the lobby has user-entered page elements, including wildcards).Things work fine, and I am able to create URLs that work for both form and Lobby navigation. But when I execute the URL it displays it in a new Chrome tab (Chrome is my default browser). I don’t want this to happen. I want the URL to pass through to IFS without needing to go (visibly) through a browser. I have had limited success automating the “InternetExplorer.Application” COM object, and tried WebView2 (without success). I cannot discover a way to pass the raw HTTP request directly to the app server so it can seamlessly display in IEE.I’d like to get this working without generating dozens of browser tabs so that it can become a feasible way of navigating to IEE form our legacy applications. We are on IFS 10 and using Google Chrome as our default browser company-wide.  We have installed the msi file and the Chrome Extension on everyone’s computer.What we are finding, is if Chrome is open when the user clicks on an emailed IFS link, everything works fine.  However, if Chrome is not open, when you click on the link, you get the warning message at the bottom of Chrome that the link may be harmful to your computer do you want to continue?  If you click the button to continue, it will open IFS, but will not proceed to the correct location in IFS.It seems that Chrome is stopping the link before the extension has a chance to kick-in.Is there a way around this?
