Hi! Everyone,  Is there anybody can help me on this issue.I use IFS8.  In function IAL Object Developer, how can I delete an existing IAL when it is not used anymore? Seems the button ‘delete’ is always inactive. 

Hi Community,One of our customers running on APPS9UPD7 is having an issue when reprinting modified customer invoice where a single invoice takes about 5+ minuets to generate the PDFPrint window is stucked in below screen for 5+ mins and producing the output or preview report and there are no errors in the report  Print window Debug console ReportRuleEngine.GetReportDefaultsExploreReports.NewClientReport server invokes seems to be the most time taken calls from the debug console.Behavior is observed only for the said report and getting for all the data sets. Any insights about this would be appreciated

I created 6 lobby image elements , value to these images is passed through a URL.But in lobby I’m getting a cross mark on the images as shown in attachment. Could anyone help me with how to fix this.  

We user Active Directory with a Windows domain that is older than 2016, so OpenID Connect isn’t available to us natively yet. If we don’t upgrade our domain before we upgrade to IFS Cloud, is it still possible to use AD to authenticate our users? Is there a third party tool that we can use to relay requests to expose our LDAP endpoint as the OpenID Connect protocol? I think my question is essentially asking the same thing as this one, but some extra details in the context of IFS could be very useful to me here, please.Active Directory as OpenID provider? - Stack OverflowKeycloak is mentioned here as an option; has anyone here used it?

I was using report designer without any problems, but now when I try to open a layout nothing happens.  No errors, no warnings, no open layout.  I have tried copying a coworkers report designer folder that worked on his machine, but did not work on mine.  The only thing I did previous is updating to Visual Studio 2021, but my coworker also did this and he had no problems.Any ideas on how to get the layouts to start opening again?

Is there a way to enable verbose logging for HTTP(s) requests to middleware server listening on tcp port (i.e. 48080, as configured during installation)? Getting “You don’t have permission to access /open-connect-provider on this server” while attempting to use reverse proxy to connect to TouchApp server.

We are validating a custom field which works but the user would like the ability to free type in the field as well as the list takes quite a while to load and they use this screen all day long. Is there any way to validate against a list without making the user pick from the list? Any advice would be appreciated. We are in IFS v9  Regards, Patrick Naughton  

There is an issue reported that the customer Test/Prod environments can not get the IFS Streams functionality working.Streams are not working and a warning sign on the streams pannel is shown and error message states that 'Push notifications disconnected. Streams will reconnect automatically once the service is available'.Checking in the logs it states.... Hi all, Working on IFS10, UPD9. Did anyone find out how to change the visible items on a Card View? When in list view, you have the option to choose the fields to be shown  When in card view, this option is not here. Any tips here?

When running Refresh Cache the Cache Type “Dictionary” does not appear to be working entirely correctly. An example; I checked all Cache Types except Dictionary Cache at 08:09 11/08/2021, then checked Cache Type Dictionary at 08:29 on 11/08/2021 and it began running and this popped up, so I left it runningAt 11:40 the same screen as above was running, I cancelled the session and then back in the Refresh cache screen this is the view… Dictionary cache refresh is running more than 3 hours and keep running is the problem for the customer and they are on Apps10. Please share any thoughts on resolving this problem.

Hi,Using Apps10 UPD8.Background jobs are stuck in Posted status and not getting executed in any of Queues.If I run Transaction_sys.Process_all_pending for a particular queue manually via plsql then it process the jobs in that queue but only for that time. So every time to execute the jobs in queue i have to run it manually for the queue I want to process.Already checked below:Job Queue processes value is fine in database. CJQ0 backgorund process is running. Batch Queues are enabled. Done Init All Queues and individual batch queue. No jobs stuck in Executing State. Restarted Database and IFS MWS servers.Issue is coming in Prod environment. Will appreciate the quick response.

I have previously created migration jobs that successfully updated custom field, using the IFS instructions for handling Custom fields. This time, I am receiving an error that I don’t understand:  it may be a clue that when I open my migration spreadsheet and Connect, it does not prompt me to Open in a New Sheet like normal.  I have compared this migration job to another one that I have created to update a custom field successfully and see no difference. Has anyone else seen this and know how to correct this? Thanks

I have used Excel migrations to upload data into IFS but I’m struggling with one migration job. It seems that if the view entered into the migration job is over a certain length (25 characters?) then the migration job will not create and I get error  ‘Intface Header has an invalid format’. Is there anyway round this please? It would be a huge amount of work to reduce the length of the name of my custom view . We use IFS v9   

Is there a plan to deprecate “Execute Online SQL” Event Action type within the next 3 Cloud releases? (before 23R2). The query builder is redesigned to use REST APIs now. So wondering if there is something similar planned for Online SQLs as well?

For customer in Australia, we are planning to do the first release – R1 (go-live with partial functionality) on 2022-06-30 and the second release – R2 (go-live with full functionality) on 2022-10-31.  We are planning to finish developments of R1 by end of April (2022—04-30) and start the developments of R2 in May (2022-05-01). So during the first 2 months of R2 developments (in May and June) and after go-live we will have to do corrections in R1 functionality. If we use the same code base for both R1 and R12, we will have both R2 implementation changes and R1 corrections in the same code base (After April). However we don’t want to deliver R2 code changes to R1 production (or Test) environment.I understand that we should be able to use Corrective deliveries to cherry pick the corrections which we want to deliver. My question is can we use corrective deliveries in the above scenario? Sending the first corrective delivery looks straight forward to me but if there are multiple correction

We recently upgraded our ifs from apps 9 to 10 , the way IFS being accessed is using the name like https://ifsme-prd-srv.culdomain.ae , but when we are trying to publish it on azure it needs an IP address https://10.23.5.13. with port. Can i do some setup for DNS resolution where i can access IFS from browser in both ways.https://ifsme-prd-srv.culdoman.ar or https://10.23.5.13.

IFS Apps 10.   Starting REST Service Registering: REST Service started on https://reportserver01:8200/ Failed to Remove Printing Node: Unauthorised Failed to Register node:  IFSL Reason for error:  Unauthorised State Changed:  Error   I have checked the user/password combination and they are correct.   Any ideas why there is an Unauthorised error.  What causes this?   Thanking you.  

Hello friends,We are doing a server migration in our data center and we find a strange problem in one of our Crystal Reports.I´m going to explain the case:We create the same example in the Environtment QA (In Origin) and the new Environtment QA (In destination)1.    We execute (with the same data) the report in the development tool. First in QA OriginWe have this result:  2.    We execute (with the same data) the report in the development tool. Now in new QA (Destination) We have the same result So far Everything is perfect!. The two databases behave the same. Good Job!!! 3.    Now, we execute the report in IFS (Origin)4.    And now, we execute the report in IFS (Destination)When we launch the report within IFS the result is incorrect (in IFS Destination).It seems as if IFS doesn´t understand the symbol “,” and “.”.We have reviewed Regional Settings on both servers and they are the same.Please, can someone tell me what other options to review in Application Server or IIS Service?Thanks

Hello,I have created a lobby for the B2B portal. I manage to make it available for users with LTU license for the portal, adding it in :Aurena > solution manager > security > permission set > " on the permission: " Projections and lobby pages I would like to know by adding this lobby in my LTU, if the user will always consume a LTU or FULL license?thank you in advance!

It seems that oracle user is no longer required when IFS User is created in IFS Cloud.So, when IFS Cloud is set to use Internal IDP for user authentication, where is the user password stored? If there is Oracle user for the IFS user, will Oracle password be used at all? Neno
