Recently, We have looked into an issue raised by one of our customers, which occurred in PROD environment.

When sending customer order invoices via E-Invoice, application attaches a PDF of the invoice in the Customer Invoice screen. Customer has noticed that the PDF attachment of series of invoices (about 11 invoices only) have popped a error when we double click on the attachment. The error is shown as below.

 

 

As a result, users cannot view the PDF attachment (which contains invoice info) and The issue has not occurred in Prod after that mentioned invoice series.

Customer wants to correct the issue with the corrupted attachments of 11 invoices in Production environment and view the attachments.

Is it possible to correct the corrupted attachment in Prod and make them viewable? And what are the probable situations which can caused this kind of issues? 

Kindly advice me to handle this issue, and really appreciate your support on this.

When we have had similar errors with files that are not retrievable from Doc Man, we delete the file attachment and re-attach the file to the document revision.  There is no way to repair the file that is already there that I’m aware of.
