Excel Migration To Custom Field

I have used Excel migrations to upload data into IFS but I’m struggling with one migration job. It seems that if the view entered into the migration job is over a certain length (25 characters?) then the migration job will not create and I get error  ‘Intface Header has an invalid format’. Is there anyway round this please? It would be a huge amount of work to reduce the length of the name of my custom view . We use IFS v9

Execute Online SQL

Is there a plan to deprecate “Execute Online SQL” Event Action type within the next 3 Cloud releases? (before 23R2). The query builder is redesigned to use REST APIs now. So wondering if there is something similar planned for Online SQLs as well?

Parallel developments in IFS Cloud

For customer in Australia, we are planning to do the first release – R1 (go-live with partial functionality) on 2022-06-30 and the second release – R2 (go-live with full functionality) on 2022-10-31.  We are planning to finish developments of R1 by end of April (2022—04-30) and start the developments of R2 in May (2022-05-01). So during the first 2 months of R2 developments (in May and June) and after go-live we will have to do corrections in R1 functionality. If we use the same code base for both R1 and R12, we will have both R2 implementation changes and R1 corrections in the same code base (After April). However we don’t want to deliver R2 code changes to R1 production (or Test) environment.I understand that we should be able to use Corrective deliveries to cherry pick the corrections which we want to deliver. My question is can we use corrective deliveries in the above scenario? Sending the first corrective delivery looks straight forward to me but if there are multiple correction

Name to IP resolution

We recently upgraded our ifs from apps 9 to 10 , the way IFS being accessed is using the name like https://ifsme-prd-srv.culdomain.ae , but when we are trying to publish it on azure it needs an IP address https://10.23.5.13. with port. Can i do some setup for DNS resolution where i can access IFS from browser in both ways.https://ifsme-prd-srv.culdoman.ar or https://10.23.5.13.

Aurena Notify Me Log In Issue

IFS Print Agent error

IFS Apps 10.   Starting REST Service Registering: REST Service started on https://reportserver01:8200/ Failed to Remove Printing Node: Unauthorised Failed to Register node:  IFSL Reason for error:  Unauthorised State Changed:  Error   I have checked the user/password combination and they are correct.   Any ideas why there is an Unauthorised error.  What causes this?   Thanking you.

Differents results in Crystals Reports with the same configuration

Hello friends,We are doing a server migration in our data center and we find a strange problem in one of our Crystal Reports.I´m going to explain the case:We create the same example in the Environtment QA (In Origin) and the new Environtment QA (In destination)1.    We execute (with the same data) the report in the development tool. First in QA OriginWe have this result:  2.    We execute (with the same data) the report in the development tool. Now in new QA (Destination) We have the same result So far Everything is perfect!. The two databases behave the same. Good Job!!! 3.    Now, we execute the report in IFS (Origin)4.    And now, we execute the report in IFS (Destination)When we launch the report within IFS the result is incorrect (in IFS Destination).It seems as if IFS doesn´t understand the symbol “,” and “.”.We have reviewed Regional Settings on both servers and they are the same.Please, can someone tell me what other options to review in Application Server or IIS Service?Thanks

Hello,I have created a lobby for the B2B portal. I manage to make it available for users with LTU license for the portal, adding it in :Aurena > solution manager > security > permission set > " on the permission: " Projections and lobby pages I would like to know by adding this lobby in my LTU, if the user will always consume a LTU or FULL license?thank you in advance!

Where is user password when Internal IDP is used in IFS Cloud

It seems that oracle user is no longer required when IFS User is created in IFS Cloud.So, when IFS Cloud is set to use Internal IDP for user authentication, where is the user password stored? If there is Oracle user for the IFS user, will Oracle password be used at all? Neno

Login is denied. User has already logged onto IFS Account.

Hi All,Do you have any idea how to get the login screen again to enter different username and password.I have mistakenly left the Remember Password ticked, when login with another user for some testing. Please let me know if you have any idea to get that login screen back?Thank you!

Active directory user sync job issues

Hello Community,Is there a way to set active directory user synchronization job at once per day in IFS apps 10? We have a setup where job is keep on executing and even connected scheduled database task is deactivated. There is a field mapping issue but expectation is log the error and end the job according to the schedule. But here job is keep on executing for multiple times What will happen if below one time task parameter is set to ‘TRUE’ together with settings on latter screen cap?

Error: Customer has expired. Check expire date.

Hi All,We are having an error when try to create an Invoice from Invoice Plan Details.User is selecting 3 lines and select RMB option ‘Create Credit Invoice’ but getting an error ‘Customer has expired. Check expire date.’When this error reported, the customer had a past Inactive Date and then we removed that from the customer. But still we are getting this error.Can I get some advise to fix this, please?Thank you in advance!

IFS9 - Lobby Data Source JOIN two (or more) tables

Good morning, I would likie to know if there is a possibility to use two views/tables in Data Soursce Constructor?If yes, how to do this? I need to combine data from two different views and present it on one lobby object. I have alredy tried with adding two views in “View” box (separetad with “ , ” or “ ; ”) but it didn’t work.Second idea was to use SQL construction  JOIN in “Where” boxeg.  &AO.company_person_all.emp_no = &AO.company_person.emp_no   Thanks!

Custom Field use CF$ to join in same view

Hello,I need Advice on how to solve this,I am trying to get this custom field to work. It is a Read Only Custom Field. The syntax is validated successfully. But when I publish I get “ORA-01403: no data found” (see server error message below). The event  looks like this:I need to use part_no and price_catalog_no to join. Price_catalog_no was not available in the lines only in the header. A report layout failed to import

Hi Team,While installing a fix related to reports the following error was encountered.C_RMA_PROFORMA_INVOICE_REP (CRmaProformaInvoiceRep.rdl)  layout failed to importException on importing Layouts : ORA-20111: ReportLayoutDefinition.FND_RECORD_NOT_EXIST: The Report Layout Definition does not exist.But the respective RDL file was available in the delivery folder. Lobby Date Parameter

HelloI believe i have some very basic question. How can i change Lobby Page parameter #TODAY# to pass/display date as MM/DD/YYYY, there must be some setting i am missing , when i try to overwrite default today’s date with correct format i still cannot get correct query result in the elements.here are my settings 2- How to fix condition in following to get default #today# from page or let the user enter any other date to pass . In following example i am expecting Planned orders = zero and Created today = 361 (as of 1/14/2021)

ORA 3136 Errors in Oracle Alert log and chronic performance

We keep getting issues with IFS where the application grinds to almost a stop. Tasks that should take a few seconds take 10minutes and users can no longer log on. When we look in the Oracle alert log we see lots of occurrences of ORA 3136. Episodes like this seem to last about one hour then the application returns to normal use. We noticed that memory utilization on one or other of the extended servers  shoots up to 100% during the onset of these events but we cannot find any reason for this. It tends to happen at about 9am and 4pm when there is more login/logout activity and a bit around lunch time ~noon but can see no real cause. It doesn’t happen everyday. It was very bad last Friday and Monday of this week. Since then it’s performed well . Has anyone seen anything similar please?

Transfer personal profiles in bulk to another environment

I’ve already found few KBAs which discuss similar topics but none of them were answered with the exact scenario with migrating personal profiles from one environment to another in bulk, hence this community post.We need to find an alternative way to migrate personal profiles instead of manually exporting and importing one at a time which consumes a lot of time and of course not feasible for our IT department. It’s not practical enough to hand the responsibility over to end-users with the necessary grants, which isn’t again a good solution in many aspects.Do you have any bright ideas where we can migrate personal profiles in bulk across environments?Thank you in advance./Manulak

IFS 10 Rest API authentication

I am trying to use the Rest API in IFS 10.  Currently I am struggling with the authentication.  I have found various posts which some say you can use basic authentication, others say it must be oAuth.  However using basic I am constantly receiving a 401 Unauthorized, i can’t find any official documentation explaining how to authenticate using oAuth.Can anybody help?Thanks
