referencing a LOV view

Hi experts,

Please check out the screenshot below (IFS10/UPD13)

I thought I could use the PERSON_INFO_LOV to select a person from this table.

I have not done this before in this screen and I just want to make sure I am doing the right thing.

We have cross-company reporting lines that often create problems for automatic reports. Then I thought that rather than creating a new field at employee level I could use the Employee File/Properties functionality.

Please let me know if this makes sense.

generally your idea is not wrong.

I’ve tested it on our test environment (on the same screen) and it works.

 

Did you get an error message while creating the custom field?

Thank you for your email. I am looking to use the property field definition rather than creating a custom field in this case. So, I just wanted to make sure that my definitions in this window are correct.
