I’m trying to move the elements (.rpi, _rpt table and _rep view… is there more?) for a custom operational report (this is an SSRS based report that I did not create) from one test instance of IFS to another. Is there a way to do this from within the application?

Hi,
Those objects cannot be moved via the application. Has to be done through code (it would usually be files within a delivery).
If you have to move a view or table from the TEST instance to PROD what kind of tools would you use? Is this code done in something like GITHUB?
