Hi,I have a problem; I am on APPS10 and in a custom event I need to get the Employee’s supervisor email address. I used the function posted below and it works OK but it doesn’t when the status of the Employee is PRELIMINARY, only when it is LIVE. Does anyone know a workaround?Thanks 

Hello All, I’ve been trying to add some additional languages in a customer environment.I have added them from the BuildPlace: Pull Request was created automatically. I approved the merge to master and run sanity check + created delivery. Delivery was deployed to CFG, but I still don’t see the translations. In Used Languages only EN appears to have translations. Is there some step that I missed? Do I also need to download the language files and commit them in GIT in some folder?I was hoping this is done automatically when the delivery

Hello Community,We have a weird formatting in Demand Forecast that forces users to have black text in dark theme. As you can imagine, this leads to some extremely difficult to read information on this screen (and this screen only). Appearance designer doesn't seem to be able to change the text color here...do we have any options besides just forcing users to use light theme?  

Hey all,We have successfully been using an external file template to import Manual Supplier Invoices (with authorized postings) for over a year. But for the first time we are needing to create an invoice that uses EUR instead of USD, and so obviously employs a currency conversion rate that is not 1.0000.I am able to make the invoice create with EUR as the currency, but I was still forcing a conversion rate of 1.0000. So, the invoice is created, but is obviously incorrect and has to be canceled and completely re-created.My next try was to leave currency rate null (blank in the text file), thinking IFS would go get the rate the same way it would when entering an invoice in IEE. This resulted in a file load error: Net Amount does not match Net Amount in Accounting Currency for Item No 1. I cannot get much detail on just what exactly IFS is trying to do or what is wrong. And I do not know what values to convert so that IF

Hi All,I would like to add a watermark to a Report Designer layout conditionally. Either via Report Rules or some option provided in Report Designer.Looks like this is currently NOT possible in 24R2.Any idea if this feature will be available in the near future? We need a way to handle watermarks in a flexible manner.

I’m currently working with EDI transactions and need to locate JSON template files for them. Specifically, I’m looking for the JSON equivalent of RECEIVE_CUSTOMER_ORDER (and others down the line).Does anyone know where these template files can be found, or if there’s a repository/resource that provides them? Preface: We have a lot of configuration for v10 aurena/vcloud that we try and stay on top of with a plethora of end to end tests written in browser automation tooling like playwright or selenium.  Problem: We have a problem with test users settings/preferences being in unexpected states because the tests have to modify them and this persists across tests. Is there a way to disable user preferences so that we can maintain a default state across all tests? For instance, sometimes columns are changed on tables as part of an automated test, and this can mess with other tests that need different columns. Currently we just attempt to reset the columns before we end the test but this is tedious and not always reliable. Ideas?

Try to trigger workflow using PDF_REPORT_CREATED application defined event but didn't execute the workflow. Type - Process EnrichmentTiming - AsynchronousGranted the projection used in Workflow to IFSPRINT user also. Even try with workflow which has just start and event but not executed.

I would like to know how to mimic someone's profile in Cloud like we can in Apps10 via Options>User Profile>Administration Options. IMPERSONATE USER has been added to our Admin System Privileges in IFS Cloud but not sure how to actually use this function to mimic someones profile.Thank you for the help.

Hi, I created a LTU user with TECH_PORTAL_SERVICE_ENG_LTU license provided by IFS.I get ‘Your system administrator has not granted permission to complete that action.’ when try to complete the work task from work details page> Report In.The relevant projection for ‘Report In’ has been granted in permission set. I am not allowed to update the permission set either as it is predefined by IFS. Highly appreciate your comments :)

The toggle button/filter on screen "Customer Invoices" seems to be hiding more than the acclaimed "Paid posted Invoices >100 days".After turning the filter to "OFF" recent cancelled invoices appear 

I am calling the ReceiveEinvoiceService to import External Supplier Invoices into IFS.  I have followed the 3 steps in the REST API documentation to post the Invoice Structure, upload 2 attachments, and finally process the invoice.  I see everything was received correctly by IFS inside of the External Supplier Invoice screen.  After IFS has received one of the invoices through the ReceiveEinvoiceService, a user in Finance needs to go into the External Supplier Invoice screen in order to click the ‘Create Invoice’ option for it to flow to the Manual Supplier Invoice where it will be review / match to purchase orders and receivers.A request has been made by our Finance Team to have the ‘Create Invoice’ option to automatically happen once the ReceiveEinvoiceService completes so that the Manual Supplier Invoice is created without user interation.To accomplish this, the External Supplier Invoice Parameters were change to ‘Check When Loaded’ and ‘Create When Checked’.

Hi,Is anyone using a 128 barcode font with Crystal Reports for IFS Cloud?We installed a demo download IDAutomation font and it works fine from a PC with the Crystal Report designer but doesn’t appear to work in the PDFs produced from IFS when installed on the Crystal Report server.  We found a reference to the need for a fully licensed version on the IDAutomation support pages, but we also found a reference on the SAP support pages which said that “Custom Licensed Fonts of this type or any licensed font are not Embedded into the PDF doc due to licensing issues.This is by design.”We know the longer term advice is to move away from Crystal Reports but in the short term we’d like to confirm whether a licensed font will work.Any feedback much appreciated!

Hello,I am trying to figure out how the percentages work in the Document Footer in cloud.  I have 6 columns and trying to get things moved to where it looks nice on the report is very hard using percentages.  I have placed with the numbers and the fields don’t move the way I think they should move.  I want the US, address over by Restek and Phone close to the phone number and tax number text over more.  But as soon as I start trying to move the address over it moves but the phone number goes with it because I have to increase the numbers because I am reducing the address numbers. Does anyone have any clue on how the percentages work?  I have all the fields in the report defined left justified so I can see where the fields actually start at.

Our company is using IFS Cloud 24.1. I am building lobby elements. When I test them, they seem to work perfectly. When anyone else uses them, the navigation errors. The elements are set up to pull the User ID as a filter. The information on the element is showing correctly for each User. It is only when clicking on the element that they receive an error. DatasourceElementI am able to use the element to navigate to the page with the appropriate filters applied. Anyone who uses the same element receives this error:

HiWe would like to provide Customer Invoice .pdf’s to an external Customer facing application using standard IFS API’s. I would view the invoice .pdf in Aurena via report archive using a result key. Has anybody successfully integrated a similar solution?We are using Apps10 UPD15. We don’t have Boomi. Here is what we have found so far:Using the log window we have found the Report Archive projection and enabled compatibility. We have then viewed an invoice .pdf and can see it makes an API call and gets an ID related to the Result Key. From there it seems to construct a URL and opens the .pdf in a new browser tab.
