Hi all, In recent several weeks, out IFS Dev environment Cloud run very slow. It needs to wait several minutes to show a page. We have workflow, background jobs and report. Is there a way for us to investigate what is the reason to trigger the slowness?  Thank you

I have a strange problem. I have developed a SQL Quick Report which execute perfectly: returns 19 rows as expected but no data is shown in some of the columns. These columns are related to Shop Order Costs.So if I log in to IEE,  go the the SQL QR and execute it: the cost columns are empty for all 19 rows. If I open the Shop Order Costs form, filter to the same order_no than the SQL QR: I can see the costs. Now if I go back and execute the SQL QR I get: 19 rows and all the empty cost columns are now full of number!What the hell is going on? Anyone have ideas?

I’ve got a question about the SQL statement generating by projections when there’s a reference involved. Dear community. Since moving to IFS Cloud we have found that when using the users local printers \\SERVER\PRINT to print reports, i.e. Purchase Order Arrival and Sales Order Quotation, if the report is landscape, it does not automatically rotate it, and it prints it on portrait orientation, and resizes the printout to fit inside the portrait orientation. We notice that when the job is printed, the system downloads the file to \downloads, which is expected, and when viewing the downloaded printout in Acrobat or similar, it appears to be in Landscape orientation, however the physical printout is always incorrect. I cant believe that we are the only ones that have ever seen this. Any assistance would be appreciated.David. 

Hi community, We work with IFS Apps10 and I'm trying to set up a Boomi integration for EDI Customer Orders via REST API calls.I managed to create a Customer order directly via the CustomerOrderHandling API, I'm able to make adjustments on the Lines, so that is working.But, it appears that in the Enterprise Explorer, within that created Customer Order, the "Send Confirmation" option is disabled . Searching the cause of this I found that in the Customer Order Presentation Object, a function CUSTOMER_ORDER_TRANSFER_API.Allowed_To_Send is called, which checks that the Customer order has a Message record in the table EXTERNAL_CUSTOMER_ORDER_TAB. It appears to be possible to pick a record in that table (with status Requires approval), patch it with the already created Customer Order number and then set the status to "Created" by means of the REST methodIncomingCustomerOrderHandling.svc/IncomingCustomerOrders(MessageId={message

We are trying to configure our Navigator to be as streamlined as possible, and to hide unnecessary menu items for all users. With the Navigator you can control the items either through access to pages/projections, and they are hidden in the menu, or you can use the Hide function in the Navigator.This is specifically useful for items which are visible on multiple menu branches. My question is how to manage/solve the following scenario.If we have two types of users who should see different items in the menu.When you Hide all items under one Node, or have removed all projection access to items on one node, the Node item is still visible, but it’s now a dead/empty button where nothing happens when you click on it (and it is also reverted to English for some reason).The reason why we do this is that some items should be hidden for All users, but some items should be available and visible if you have access to that projection/p

Hi together,we have the requirment to develop an interface which transfers data to an external system via REST and to use the response for a 2nd call. We did similar things already many times, usually we call the connect framework from PL/SQL (PLSQL_REST_SENDER_API) and process the response in PL/SQL via callback. This works fine as long the response data is placed in the body by the external system. But in this case we are getting back the response in the header. Is there any possibility to access the header tags? In this case we would need the information of “Location” for further processing.   

I’m trying to add an email into IFS Cloud programmatically. ✅Using https://ifspsd2-d05.demo.ifs.cloud/int/ifsapplications/entity/v1/BusinessMailEntity.svc allows me to insert my email header with create@BusinessMailSet.❌When I try to include the Body or HtmlBody parameter, I get a BadRequest error. How do I add my email body to the new header entry?

We have put in Update 28 to our 2 test environments.  We have found that the Purchase Order Authorization screen > View Only My Next Step generates an error for authorised users. If you are not an authoriser and therefore have nothing to authorise there is not an error.If you are an authoriser you get an ‘insufficient privileges’ error.Any ideas?  Is this another known bug in Update 28 that we have not been told about.PS - 2.0 folder has been deleted 

Hi,I found when trying to publish an imported custom projection (from ACP or item)  it gives an error when all the required other configurations in place.  This is in 24R2 3“Database error occurred. Contact administrator.Error details: [{"code":4050,"message":"ORA-04050: invalid or missing procedure, function, or package name"}] “.When looking into further it is found that entry is not getting added into the table custom_projection_tab when importing hence it fails when publishing.Any workaround for this? Thanks,Best Regards,Methshika    

We are currently running on IFS Cloud - 24R2.0 - on premiseWe have multiple companies in our IFS environment. For each of these companies, we have set up database Task Schedules to run the Notify Next Authorizer task for Supplier Invoices.For each company, the task is set to run once a day, either at 6pm or 6am.We are having an issue with one scheduled task. We discovered it had been running every minute instead of once a day. When we look at the Execution Plan for each of the companies, we can see that the separator is a caret instead of a semi-colon like on all of the other tasks. This is the only task that has the caret and the only one that runs every minute.The issue is that we don’t know how we got this set up that way. The details of the scheduled task look the same as our other tasks and we don’t see anything that w

Hi all, We are on 25.1.1 and many users are reporting the web browsers (Edge/Chrome) taking up lots of memory and CPU % with using IFS Cloud. This might be linked to some pages (ex. Shop Order having about 500 material lines), but not in all instances.  Here’s an example from a key user:while loading data And once the data loads, the CPU % idles without memory getting offloaded.TIA

Hi We have a client and when she open the “Customer Order Lines” page IFS automatically trying to run a query.  User is not clicked the search but it runs and end with an system error. There seems to be something loaded with the advance search but its empty when I click on it. I cleared the cache and cookies but everytime when I open that window as a new page even its trying to load some data.Have anyone come accross with this kind of issue? 

Hi Guys,I am trying to attach the documents or view the documents through the cloud CRM companion App.I reviewd the technical documentation and documents are enabled through object connections for both Lead and Business activity. But I cannot see the attachment section in the companion app. I added the security grants for the CRM companion app. Not sure If I am missing any specific permissions  Any idea how I can use the document management functionality in CRM companion app please?

Hellowe are actually doing a migration dryrun from ifs v8 to ifs cloud 24r1we got issue with projections acp deployment.We successfully imported the ACP, but we can not publish our custom projections.We got the following error : invalid or missing procedure, function, or package name Debugging the database package workflow leads me to this :CUSTOM_PROJECTION_UTIL_API.Generate_And_Deploy_Projection___ try to generate and deploy projection.It calls a method to generate the projection header based on the projection object from custom_projection_tab which not exists in it.It result in a package header without lu name, and it must be the reason of the failure.But how can I get the projection registered in custom_projection_tab as I perform an import and not a creation.

We are upgrading to Cloud soon and I was under the impression ALL USERS will have access to Excel Migration - need confirmation and also need to know if the set up is still the same as in 10 - have to set up each user in Data Migration Users table

Does anyone have experience in overriding the connector instance (mail) on report rules?On the report rule, Route to Connect, I can’t get this to work.If there is a mail sender that is marked as ‘default instance’ it will be used when sending the mail. If there is no default mail sender, IFS will select the first mail sender in alphanumerical order. Which means that if you create a mail sender with name ‘AAA’ it will be used before ‘BBB’.On an event action, of type E-mail, it is possible to override the Mail sender.Is this a bug or am I missing something?In  my testing I have created a very simple report rule, that will trigger each time a specific report is printed - and mail it to me. Hello IFS Community,Does anyone know how to send an email via a report rule using a custom sender instead of the default “ifs_noreply”?I’ve already created the custom sender and have successfully sent emails using the PDF_REPORT_CREATED event action. Hello, we sometimes have an issue about calling a specific event which runs an http request, sometimes, IFS takes a lot of time to execute the event. How can we reduce this time execution? Thanks

Hi experts,We’re facing a strange issue with a custom report layout in IFS Cloud (created using IFS Report Designer). The report is designed for portrait orientation with fixed width and height. When we preview the report in IFS and then print from the preview screen, it comes out perfectly in portrait as expected. But when we print the report directly (without preview), it is always printed in landscape. We are using an Epson LQ-310 printer.So far we have: Verified that the report’s page size (width < height) is correctly set in Report Designer. Checked and changed the printer settings  Has anyone else experienced this mismatch between direct print vs preview print orientation? Why do Barcodes and Fonts shrink using Crystal Reports in IFS APPS10? Is there a fix for this issue?Does anyone have any suggestions on how to fix this issue? We are on APPS10 using Crystal reports to create parts labels. When we view in Crystal the barcode is fine but when we print through IFS the barcode/fonts shrinks. The samples show the differences. Thank you,
