IFS Cloud 25R2 - WaterMark

Hello,

I am trying to add a watermark using Report Designer. I followed the documentation; however, I was unable to find the parameter "Base path for Report Designer graphics on the application server" under the System Parameters.

Could you please advise whether this parameter is available in IFS Cloud 25R2, or if it has been renamed, relocated, or replaced by a different configuration setting?

Thank you,

Wafaa Gerrayi

Hi @Wafaa,

Based on what I have seen in recent IFS Cloud releases, the documentation referring to the system parameter"Base path for Report Designer graphics on the application server" appears to originate from older deployment models where report graphics were stored on the application server file system.

With IFS Cloud 25R2, I have not been able to find a reference indicating that this parameter is available under System Parameters. I also could not find evidence that it has simply been renamed. Instead, the reporting capabilities have evolved, and 25R2 introduces additional reporting features, including enhanced watermark support in Operational Reporting / Report Studio.

Hi,

in IFS Cloud (and app 10 approx. upd 15+) are all report images handled in application.

Hi,

I have already managed to add watermark by combining the watermark functionnality in report designer and report images in the application.

@ashen_malaka_ranasinghe we started to use report studio for developing new report layouts, but the majority of our existing reports are Report Designer layouts (RDL). We were informed that a migration tool would be available to convert Report Designer reports to Report Studio; however, its functionality is still limited and does not yet provide reliable results.

Best Regards!
