Hello All, I have had a request to enable Parallel Currency on an existing company in Apps9 that only has basic GL data and externally uploaded AP and AR invoices. Has anyone looked into how technical this would be to do if it is a small dataset?

Hi, I noticed that lines in the Invoicing Plan are not included in the cashflow forecast, it is not a cash flow source. Is there a reason why this is excluded and is there a way to include the invoicing plan lines (which have not yet been updated to a project invoice) in the cashflow forecast?Kind regards, Simon

We have two different payment methods per Instiute for Direct debits set up Where do I control what GL code these are posted to when completed?  

Apps 7.5.New construction sub contractors VAT handling rules are coming in soon and we have to handle the transactions and HMRC reporting.The new rules mean the sub contractor invoices without any VAT and we have to add on the VAT to the invoice and report it to HMRC. We don’t want to pay the sub contractor the cash amount of VAT.We can setup new VAT codes etc but this would pay the VAT amount to the sub contractor. I am thinking of setting  up a new Tax code with type Tax Withholding with tax received and tax withholding as Payment, will this work? Which Posting controls will need to be changed? Any advice would be much appreciated.

Hi. Is it possible to report VAT directly from IFS to the Making Tax Digital system in the UK?

We are configuring IFS to process incoming orders via EDI.  Is there a way for the system to validate the pricing information and create an error when the price sent on the PO (incoming order) is different from the price set-up with the customer based on price lists or agreements or standard price?  We are on Apps9 UPD16We find that when the customer sends an incorrect price on the order line, when approving the order, the system automatically creates a customer order with the wrong price.Incoming price from customer’s .xml file:  Price comparison after the order is created: In this case, we need to use the price from Price List 2 which is $97.92 vs. $96.00 which is what

We have recently started utilizing IFS Shipments and really like the simplicity of having one pick list and one delivery note, regardless of how many orders are on a shipment.  However, when it comes to Invoices, especially EDI invoices, several of our customers require one invoice for each order.  When creating Shipment Invoices, is there a setting or a way to have this process create one invoice for each order on the shipment?

Hi All, Is anyone using the Event Action to notify authorizers of new invoices? It’s triggered via the event “NOTIFY_NEW_INVOICES”. Does this work in Apps10?Thanks Alice 

I am trying to look at ways we might  get invoices cleared and approved quicker. One idea I thought was of manual debit notes for any discrepancies we have.  These could be raised to clear the invoice for payment for the value we expect to pay if there is an ovecharge for example until we we receive a credit note to match against Is there any process within IFS that would allow this?

in IFS , we are un-able to close the accounting period 10-2018system generated this errori checked the relation between user group and accounting period.the GA user group is not there in that period; i added it but still error is there; because of the creation date.is it safe to update the  creation dateif not what is the solution. 

I got the following error while Transfering Inventory Transaction History to finance. Error - “The user group AC is not connected to any period with the date 29-FEB-20 in Company xxxx”Function - Mpccom_Accounting_API.Transfer_To_FinanceI checked all the basic setup such as Users per user group, User groups per period etc. and it was ok.Then I selected all the Inventory Transactions for 29-FEB-20 and change the Date applied to 28-FEB-20 and I got the following error. "No Period exists for the date 28-FEB-20 in company xxxx.Any valid reason?When we check the periods it looks like below and ideally it should ends with 29-02-2020 

We submitted an ACH file to the bank with the wrong account number entered.  I need to resubmit to the bank.  How do I void the payment in IFS, so the invoice can be paid again?

Hi All, Recipient LOV is empty But zoom has values  if manually entered it allows.   

I already have a company with my accounting calendar starting from 1st Jan. We already have setup and transactions under this company. Now I need to change the accounting calendar from next year so that it starts from 1st Apr. Can I amend accounting calendar of the existing company?

Dear, How can I correct reverse / correct project transactions?We've got a project that was assgend to the wrong customer.  This needs to be corrected.Normally I should say just change the Cusotmer on the porject. How ever for the linked project transaction already a posting exist that already has the status transferred. The goal is to create project invoice  with transactions for the correct customer.Does anyone has an idea how to sove this? Regards Raymond

Hi all, I’m trying to create a non-supplier payment but I’m having problem on LOV (nothing came out) though when you zoom in there are values.  zoom has values:    

Trying to find some confirmation on advance instant invoices.   I want to add an ‘invoice’ onto the customers account which doesn’t hit P&L etc and is only to track sales during month until the monthly invoice run is processed.  The reason being that they pay us a value each week against sales but we can’t track this against sales until the invoice is raised. I’m wondering if I can raise an advance instant invoice to track what they owe against payments on account in lieu of invoice being raised at end of month

On the company there is a flag under Invoice tab Supplier Invoice workflow that say for Authorisation Parameters for posting proposal to inherit authorizers from Purchase. We have this ticked and yes when you match a supplier invoice to a purchase order receipt it brings across into the posting proposal who actually authorised the purchase order. However if the value of the invoice is greater than the purchase order receipt and greater than the last authoriser it does not bring in the next authoriser within the purchasing rule. Is this the expected outcome of having the box ‘ Inherit Authorizers’ from purchase’ ticked

Hi all,Does IFS have Tax setup guide for each country?I’m looking for guide on how to setup taxes for every country, like in Singapore it only needs GST but in other countries, it require to have many taxes including Withholding taxes or in US it requires taxes by states. Does anyone have this ?Thanks for the response!

Hi community, I am trying to add a department code to some accounts in my template, but the only way that I found, update all my budget template. Anyone know how to enter a fixed code parts (department, Division, etc.) to a specific account without affect all my template accounts? Thanks, Gianni

We have some invoices that are ‘PR’ stage, but we don’t want to print and fully create them at moment. Is there a check box or some way of ‘holding’ this so that it isn’t accidentally picked up in any bulk print run?
