Hi All,Is it possible to use CAMT053 only for creating Customer Payments?The CAMT053 received from bank has both customer and supplier payments. I need to load only customer payments and create mixed payment for those. The supplier payments should be ignored.Can we use Payment Format message function for this? Thanks

Hello.I have the following template to upload an object.    I used this template to upload this object, UPLOADOBJ6 :   The template has fields for Acquisition Value and Acquisition Value in Parallel Currency, which I filled out. My understanding is that this same template would also upload these values to the two highlighted fields below under Import Object. However, it did not go through when I did the upload. Does anyone know have an idea of what might be causing this? Any help would be much appreciated.  Thank you. 

We are trying to batch process our external vouchers for the first time.  We have changed the Server Directory parameter in System Parameters for Accounting Rules from NULL to a server path that the Oracle server should be able to read/write to. When Batch Process is selected in External Voucher Assistant  Process Options, and the FileType/Parameter SetID/File Template values are selected in the second screen of the Assistant the ‘Next’ button does not become available to establish a schedule.  Is there more set-up involved, or are there any tips as to what the server path syntax should be?  It is entered as:\\XXXifstest01.XXXXX.local\d$\XX_DIRECTORIES\MIGR10\XXXXX_FILES\We are on Apps 10.

Is there any way to multi print invoices and save them in one file/folder? When I try it just now I have to save each invoice individually with a new name

Hi,I’d like to create an external file in order to export a csv file in an Oracle file share. However we must force the name of the exported file but I’d like to add the date time into this name when it’s cerated in the file share (and in the archive file share).Is it possible in standard, if yes how to do it please?

Hello,We are using IFS 7.5, I know it’s a little old.  Anyways, I have a couple questions. Sometimes I need to enter/voucher invoices without a PO so I enter everything manually such as the account and cost center.  I have noticed that sometimes when we pass the plan pay date the payment does not go out.  It kind of seems like it gets stuck in the middle between me vouchering an invoice and payment being made.  Can anyone answer why this happens?  When I pull up the entry and I want to cancel the entry and re-enter it I get an error saying that the “invoice is used in payment order” which leads to my second question.   Is there an option on the payments side that can push the invoice payments through.  As of right now the only way I can try and fix this is by someone on the payments side going into the syst

If we register an invoice with no PO and therefore the standard supplier basic terms, how can we ensure the payment terms are updated automatically on the invoice when the correct PO is added if this has different terms?

HiWhen using Business Planning we intend to use a planning unit with Periodic Balances for Income Statement and one with Accumulated balances for Balance Sheet. When you create simulated postings from a depreciation plan, it’s possible to transfer these to a Business Planning unit.However you are unable to transfer the Balance Sheet postings to a planning unit with Accumulated Balances. The way my client works is that they want to forecast All Balance Sheet planning units with Accumulated Balances. One benefit is to make such balances directly comparible with Group Consolidated Accumulated Balances. What are other peoples experiences with this?  I am aware it’s new functionality but I think we should have the option to use either periodic or accumulated.

Can anyone help me with what transaction triggers the Posting Controls of GP22 - GP25?  I can’t get these transactions created in the application.  What process creates these?

We are running Apps10 UPD8 Our Finance department would like to start emailing Customer Statement Of Account reports directly from IFS.  We are testing the setup in our test environment.  We already use report rules to email other reports out of IFS, so I know IFS can send emails.Where we are atSetup the AR Customer Contact information under the Payment tab in Customer.  Output Media is E-Mail. When we run the report - I can see it in Report Archive with Notes = “Output Media: E-Mail, Language: en”  The Printed checkbox is not selected (correct) But - the email is not being sent.Based on the documentation, it sounds like it should just email, but I’m not sure if I need to setup something else.If this should work - any suggestions on where to look to figure out why the email is not being sent? Or do I need to setup a Report Rule to actually send the email? Thanks

Hello. I am testing an upload template to upload Depreciation Data that, if done manually, would have been entered into the Import Object window of an object. I am getting an error that says that an FA_OBJECT_TRANS_VALUE_TYPE is required. Could someone advise on what this is or what field in the IFS window it refers to? Any assistance would be much appreciated. Thank you.    

While importing External Supplier Invoices we receive an error message the invoice already exists when in fact the invoice doesn’t exist.  We use FastAP to process our supplier invoices.  The error is intermittent.  I believe it is timing related and how busy the server is.  Any suggestions? Thanks

Hi,We experience an issue when we try to complete a project. We want to complete a project for 100%.When I run the ‘Generate Unfinished Work Activity Items' event in the Project Deliverables Navigator, I get the following result: I cannot set the status of the project to Completed because there are some supplier invoices which we have not received. So when I try to complete the project in the finance module, I cannot complete it for 100% because the status of the project is not Completed (and this is blocked by the supplier invoices which we have not received yet). The screenshot below shows the error in the finance module.  Is there a way to work around this issue? We wa

Hi, I found that there is a RMB option “Add/Remove Invoice Fee” in Customer Invoice (Maybe this GET functionality ). It is really appreciated if someone could explain the functionality behind it? BR Champika 

I cannot seem to find any sample report in APPS 10 for Budget Template. My customer found that the Budget Process meets their need but only if it is supported by Business Reporter with writeback funktionality.Has IFS given up on supporting budgeting wirh IFS Applications or what?I really do hope to get som hints this way.Jonas Jäthing

In our IFS 7.5 solution, we have a setup with different code strings completion for different companies. Code part F is in one company used as “target group”, and in another company as “Fixed assets” (with the FA accounting function).We are using the IFS Personal Portal as an invoice portal for users, with the portlet named “Authorize Invoice Postings”. It appears that this portlet is fetching the code string from det default company for the user with no regards for the company the portlet is set up to work with. When the user is set up to authorize for two or more companies, this creates a problem.If anyone have a solution for this, I would appreciate it very much.

Upload the Invoices with 3 decimals in IFS Could upload the same with 2 decimals. Is there some setup/configuration or we can upload invoices till 2 decimals only.

Hi, In IFS10 (EE) I would like to prepare Navigation from List Lobby element to the page which is company sensitive. Is it possible to configure IFS (Apps9) so that the Intercompany Invoice is sent and printed?We need a hard copy of the invoice to accompany the physical shipment, but we also want the invoice to be sent via MHS to the External Supplier Invoice on the receiving site.If we select set the INVOIC message as the Method Default, the invoice is sent. If we uncheck this the invoice is printed. Is it possible to enable both outputs concurrently. 

HIAfter having created a Mixed payment, i save it, and i add a transaction like “direct supplier payment”.But with all right information i click on “save” and nothing happened … only this error message belowIMPORTANT : in english the same process, all is saved correctly. Thank for your feedback
