Are conditional required fields possible in the FSM Smart Client?For example, if REQUEST.REQ_TYPE = “Some Value” then  REQUEST.USER_DEF1 is required else it is not required.Thanks,Barry

Need to get some info on the Daylight Time Saving in IFS PSO.

HelloUsing the date parameter and any of the selection parameters it works perfectly, but when I use Model: It doesn't work.I am sending the main screen where the documentation indicates that it must have a model and a location:   I am sending the scope screen where we can see the model and the location that is ideal for the recurring service.  As you can see, there are scopes, this is where the problem occurs, if I use only the start and end date it generates the request and works as it should, but if I use the model filter it doesn't work  This is the error presented when I use model, I need it to work.  The service object is functional

Please, can you help me? In Aurena, in the work resource detail can be assigned skills to the one resource.I have 900 work resources and I need to assign a skill to all of them, how can I do it in bulk? (I don't want to click 900 times on each resource separately. Thanks Premysl 

PSO 6.11.0.18 I am looking for information on PSO External Links in Activity Details in Scheduling->Resources space.Where can I configure additional links or modify existing one? Is there an option to link to FSM and open a new tab within an existing FSM session, instead of opening a new FSM tab in the browser?Currently our FSM Task Info link opens a new browser tab, but displays no info - “unsafe” message included in the web addressThanks 

HIST_REC_LIMIT_MEAS is the maximum number of historical measurement records to be transferred. Customer has set this parameter to 3, so they will only see 3 historical records and that’s fine. But the problem is that on mwo the customer could see the oldest 3 records.  But we believe that seeing the oldest records is not important but seeing the latest 3 records will be more important for the service Engineer. Could you please explain why it has been implemented like this or is it a bug?

Hello everyone,When we click on “Request Work Task - Scheduling and Allocation” in PSO, the task opens in the cloud. Unfortunately, we get the message that the page was not found:  Does anyone have any idea what the reason for this could be? Thank you! 

Dear Community,At a PSO instance 6.9.0.18 which is hosted by IFS Cloud Services connected to an IFS Cloud environment (23R2) also hosted by IFS Cloud Services.The Scheduling Optimization Configuration is successful with the “4 blue OK messages” when saving. Also when Testing, the response is within 2 seconds “Connection successful”.When sending a dataset, the background job is OK, and when looking at the Application Message created, that status is "Released”. There is an Input Message Data XML which is the LOAD XML and looks fine to me. But there is not Output Message Data XML.When looking at the PSO in the Event Log, we don't see any action here… I am an admin, I have full permission in both Cloud as PSO. Does anybody has any ideas where to investigate, push or fix stuff? Application Message: PSO Event Log: 

Where can I find documentation for the PSO API(s)? I’ve looked around the PSO help information, but I don’t see anything about what API(s) are available, and how they can be used.

Hello,Through several rounds of system performance health checks with our FSM6 (u25) instance, a recommendation was made to perform a daily restart of IIS on our web and application servers in the early morning hours (e.g. 4am).  This practice however has become unreliable and often fails resulting in a scramble when users start their day and are met with an unresponsive system.  I’m looking for any suggestions on how this is being done by others and if there are any thoughts on scheduling a server restart instead of just IIS as we would be able to put better measures in place to ensure the server actually restarts with little human intervention.Thanks,Richard

Hello All, We’re having an issue with the Launch Browser function on mobile. I’m assuming it’s to do with an Android update as this was functioning earlier in the year. Has anyone else experienced this and hopefully resolved the issue?We are using it to link to a site that takes credit card payments.I’ve tested the function by creating a new button that links to https://www.google.com just to make sure it’s nothing to do with our URL. The button does nothing. No error or attempt to open anything. It does link out to google properly when tested on the smart client script editor so I’m fairly certain that everything on the FSM side is correct.  We use Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 devices on Android 13. Let me know if you need any more details about our mobile devices Any help would be very much appreciated. Thanks

We have recently noticed that the download folder on the mobile web server has grown to approx 150GB and is taking up a significant amount of the space on the disk.   Upon investigation it appears that these image and document files migrate to the m5 attachments folder which we maintain on a dedicated file share server and are accessible through the FSM client.There was an idea submitted related to this that was denied:Change to files saved to the Downloads folder in the Mobile server. In the absence of a proper systemic way of dealing with this folder (e.g. to purge the files after X days), are there any best practices or guidelines on how to manage this folder besides just adding disk space?Thanks,Richard

Hi, Requirement: I’m trying to create a Work Task Template that will create a sales line for a minium quantiy of 1 Resource Hour even if the Reported Time is 0.5 hours (without manual intervention). Set Up: I’ve created a Task Template with a Cost Type Personel and set the WO Invoice Type to Min Qty as per the below. I created a Work Order connected to this Task Template. I can see the plan line pull in as expected. However, when I report in the assignment with the actual time of 0.5 and report the Work Task in. The work task is ignoring the Min Qty Work Order Invoice Type and simple adding it on as an extra sales line, both lines are now chargeable with a total time of 0.5 + 1 HOURS - when I just want to charge the customer 1 HOUR minimum.Line No 813268 (top) is the sales line created from the assignmentLine No 813269 (bottom) is the sales line created from Plan Line on the Work Task Template. Expected Behaviour: I expected that the total sales amount for this work order to be 1 HOURS

 Good afternoon, Does anyone know how to change the FSM Customer Portal password requirement settings?  When a user tries to change their password to anything greater than 10 characters, they receive the following message:  “The new password value is invalid. The password cannot have fewer than 6 or more than 10 characters”.   This contradicts with our password policy, and with the IFS FSM application settings.we have the “PASSWORD_VALUE_MAX_SIZE” app param set to “64 Within FSM, we can set passwords that match our policy (greater than 10 is allowed) I am looking for guidance on where to update the Customer Portal password requirements. Thank you-Rudy

When setting up a default printer for certain documents, how should the application parameter be configured for it to correctly point to a printer? As I understand it, the printer should be configured using ‘printer’ value in the global code table -However where and in what format? Is it looking for the path to the virtual printer port on the server.. the network path? Thanks for your help!

In IFS FSM6u16,  We would like to use a QR Code ScannerWhen adding a Note - Holding down offers the option to “Scan Barcode”This then asks the user to “Install Barcode Scannner” from Goodle Play Selecting “Yes” results in Google Play Reporting that the App is not compatible with this version of Android.  How can we install an alternative BarCode \ QR Scanning app, or work around this? Thanks,  

Hi,As title suggests, when i Publish the mobile design on the tablet, it goes to ‘Published’, but when i reintitialise then tablet it reverts back to ‘Pending’. However, on the FSM Smart Client, it remains ‘Published’ but if i assign the design ID to me, and reinitialise my tablet it reverts back to the last published design. If i ‘Publish’ the design again on the tablet and create a new revision (rev 8 now) and publish that straight away, then the FSM Smart Client shows that new published revision, but if i reinitialise my tablet, Rev 7 (the one that wouldnt stay published) goes back to pending and Rev 8 does not appear at all, yet still appears as published (along with Rev 7) on the FSM Smart Client. Any suggestions?  Thanks
