Hi All , I raised this question as per customer concern . As shown in Send SMS image this send SMS feature only enabled in Smart client and it is hidden using below FSM client script Send SMS client scriptSo can you please provide is there any specific reason behind this as I see this is not implemented for web client comment in description also can you able to suggest me any other solution to achieve this since customer needs alternative way . Hi,I have view and watched the video on the KB Article below.But I am still having issues trying to get some of the bridges to be blocked along the River Thames in London. For anyone UK Based who have an Operations Team who don’t like to send Field Service Technician North or South of the water, have you implemented anything? I’m looking at specifically from Dartford Crossing through to the bridges in Central London, so the DSE isn’t using them. I have in the past queried barriers and believe some have been successfully implemented. I was instructed to use the Blockages section too, shown below. Which then results in the map looking like;Note the red marker on the point I want to block, and also the tail of the barrier going out to sea. Again I was instructed in the past to do this. Getting into central London that is a little bit more complicated, however it’s more steps than what is shown on the video. I wish the barriers were that simple. These issues happen when users try to use the new mobile version that was deployed on their mobile device. The mobile changes are made in Designer, published, and deployed to the mobile server. There are no errors or issues we see with the publishing or deployment to the server. However, when those revision updates being sent to devices from server, below problems occurs. All issues below need to be fixed by reinstalling the app from scratch. 1. When the user finishes initializing, sometimes their FSM does not display any jobs, customers, their name, or the pm list. Reinstalling fixes the issue. 2. Sometimes when the user initializes, their FSM password that worked the day prior now mysteriously stops working. Only after reinstalling the app does the password start working again as intended. Approximately 10% of users are affected. How can we achieve engineer relocation in FSM, that means an engineer who is tagged to base location A relocates to a new location B for a certain number of days. He will be assigned tasks for location B for that certain number of days and upon completion of that period he will again be assigned tasks for location A. How can we achieve this in FSM? Hi, Is it possible in the Webclient, when you modify one of the task's search fields, to immediately detect that modification and run a script? Right now the script we have only runs after deselecting the field, the event we are using is the "AfterValueChanged", all the other events didn't work, like the "TextChanged".What our script does is, if it detects a blank space, it replaces it with "|".We want the script to run as soon as it detects a modification because if before deselecting the field, we press the SEARCH button, it gives the following error: Best regards
For my customer I look to a solution for the following.A work order was entered and the work type was not entered. The work type is one of the aspects using in posting control. Error message in ‘Distribution and Manufacturing Posting Analysis’ is as follows: 'Value is missing or has an invalid time interval for posting type M50 control type C54 code part A in company x’. Historic WO has been reopened and WO has status Work Done. Transaction are sitting and waiting.Trying to update the work type gives the following: Generated customer order has status Invoiced/Closed.How to commence and change the work type in the WO?
Hello,In the project I am involved with, we communicate with a backend system to create tasks with coordinates and address. Sometimes, tasks don't come with coordinatesI would like to know, if it is possible to click on a map of the fsm, to obtain automatically the latitude and longitude of that place? Knowing that fsm uses the provider Bing behind.
In the FSM Smart Client, we can insert an address to the system using the “Address” window.The mandatory fields are only the “Address” and “City”. Once we provide those data and save, we could see that the FSM automatically, updates the Latitude and the Longitude. It locates the specific location in the map as well. Could you please let me know how these data is being filled? Further, I noticed that different customers/environments hold different data for the below 4 (auto filled) fields. Would like to know how to do this configuration as well. Thank you for any help you can offer.!
We have a requirement where technician from one country should not be able to cross boundary and move to another country to work on a task near the border area of another country. We are not using Division or teams/ skills. Can we use Barrier functionality in PSO to achieve this? If yes how should we configure the barrier points? Any idea/ suggestion?
My FSM6 contract selection screen is blank in the web client. It works just fine in the Smart Client. I have Update 21 installed since last Friday, but I noticed this defect just today.The issue shows consistently on the request, rma, request line, request unit and repair center screen. My workaround is to create the rma in the smart client first and continue in the web client for my presentation. All entitlements are applied correctly.Any recommendations how to fix this issue?Please advise.
