field level restriction for user role

hi

Is there a way to give access to a page to a user/role with some fields restricted? Ex.

If i need to disable the assign work button for some roles, is it possible? I know that this page can be made visible/not, can be made read only/update but at field level on a page, can we restrict for some roles?

    Hi ​@anushakh - in my experience, field-level controls on a specific projection is not something that can be implemented with IFS Permission Sets. This level of control would likely be best implemented with Page Configurations that maps to a specific user context, noting that the field is editable or not within the Page Configuration.

    The other option that I’d used quite a bit in earlier versions of IFS is leveraging Event / Action pairings, raising error messages should a user try to update a field that they should not be for the business process.

    Know this is a super stale post, but wanted to provide some of my insight.
