Using FSM Release: 6 Update 29, when using FSM Response Code to create time commits to send to PSO, where there is a default value in the Response Code field “Calendar ID” set to 24BY7 and Customer Calendar” is also checked off, will the Response Code generate a time commit for PSO that follows the 24BY7 if the Place record (customer) doesn’t have a Calendar ID set under Place/Details? We have a mix of customers with availability calendars and many without and want to ensure that the time commits will use customer calendar availabilities when set in Place records but otherwise use 24BY7 if no Calendar ID set for a Place. Is this the case? ThanksFrom a Response Code: Example: From Place record - no Calendar ID, does this default to 24BY7 with the above Response Code configuration?:Example: From another Place record - with Calendar ID, assuming the Response Code will use the Calendar ID for time commit setup? What happens if a Time Commit is generated and sent to PSO for scheduling two w
Hi,What is the ‘standard’ NGSM Archiving process once a Service Request has been Completed? Is it a case of moving it to Closed (assuming the tasks are Finished) and that’s it’s final state, or is there an Archiving process that can occur after this? Are there any DB Task relating to this process? Thanks

Hello,I am working on a project with standalone PSO and I cannot see Simulation Workspace, even though I should have all the permissions to view it.Based on your knowledge, could this be something related to the installation steps? Or is there something I need to check within the environment that I am missing? Can someone advise me?ThanksStefania
Is there any way to add bookmarks globally in IFS CLOUD, instead of doing manually for every user?
Hi, I want restrict one Request Type/Activity Type sending to PSO we dont want to send that Request type data to PSO but needs to be Scheduled in Dispatch Console in IFS Cloud
I have a screen with a Header table and line item table. for the line item table i will have a button on the screen that is a lookup of Productsi want to be able to select multiple products in the lookup and return them as line items in the line item table.I was able to do this in the webclient but for some reason i can not get it to work in the Smartclient. in the Webclient it is a Client script. but for the smart client my thought would its done through the lookup navigation of the button. i am returning the product_id from the product table but it does not return any results when select multiple on the lookup screen. any help would be apprciated. i want it to work similar to on the request screen when selecting multiple contacts Selecting Multiple ContactsMultiple contacts added to the Request lookup NavigationSelecting of multiple ProductsCurrently nothing returned

Hello,For the Message Routing Rule ‘EmailTo’ argument, is there a way to list multiple e-mail addresses the message needs to be sent to? I have tried both a comma and semicolon separator and neither provides the desired result. Thanks,Richard
Hi,Is there a way to enable a function similar to price limits in Request Contracts? I am looking to create a contract line where the works are free of charge only if it is under a certain cost. e.g. $4000. If it exceeds $4000, the the works can be invoiced to the customer. Thanks in advance.
Hello AllNew to IFS community and first post here.We are looking for some report or automation which can compare configurations between 2 environments (ST v/s SIT or UAT environment)ThanksNilesh
The IFS Cloud Service module does not include a way to print "Survey Answers" from the IFS MWO Service app. This means Customers need to MOD the code go through creating a new report process ( i.e. creating report packages and views) even if it is a small configuration.Has anyone managed to meet these requirements without a Modification? Many thanks
Hi,I have a mismatch between the PSO allocation and the information that arrived in IFS Cloud. My scheduling window is very large, 30 days. I have a task scheduled in PSO for 02/12/2025; however, this information did not come back to IFS Cloud. When I have an allocated date of 01/12/2025, this information does come back to IFS Cloud. I don’t know where or if there is a value that needs to be set. Can someone advise me?Thanks.Stefania

Hi All, A customer has a process where they create a work order + work task. From that Work order they create the Service Quotation. Now they had the case that something went wrong and they cancelled one of the work tasks connected to that work order. But when you try to create a Service Quotation now, IFS will give an error: Now I don’t fully understand why IFS gives this error. Shouldn’t the proper behaviour be to create the Service Quotation but ignore the Cancelled Work Task? is there anything I am missing here because right now the only option I see is that my customer needs to cancel the entire WO (including the correct Work Tasks) and start all over again.(I also tested to create a Service Quotation and use ‘Connect WO’ but that give the same error). Any tips or suggestions on this error? Best RegardsRoel Timmermans
We have Recently implemented SSO on our PPM development instance. As part of the process, non-federated user accounts now require email-formatted usernames. We have an FSM integration that updates certain data in PPM (e.g., task dates and status). After SSO changes, FSM is failing to send updates because the credentials used in the XML scripts for integration still reference the old username format.Could you please suggest, what is the recommended approach to update FSM integration credentials and test them before moving SSO changes to production?Advance thank you!!
Where i can find the Resource latest event status? It would be great if someone provide the steps for this. Please find the attached screenshot of this error.
Hi,I was trying to initiate a Hanover to a Request, though I get below error. My service organization is the one responsible for the service(Setup in the service catalog). Therefore, this error is meaningless as I see. Further, the error shows a Request id, which is very strange, because system does not create a new request (error stops processing any further). Also, this number increments with the attempts I do. Looks like this is a core bug. I wonder if someone has tried and has different opinion or confirmed by the product team that this is a bug?Thank you,Roshan

Hi All, We have the following two scenarios happening in one of our customers’ Service Management business. They rent equipment from outside suppliers to be used for their customers’ service requests. They use their own company rental assets for their customers’ service requests as internal rentalHow are the above scenarios catered for in IFS Cloud → IFS Service Management > Request Management? As I could see it’s not possible to do so in Request Work Task. Is there a workaround? TIA
I am unable to see my request work tasks here , even though i am associated with the site & company.FYI : I am using IFS Cloud Demo env.
Dear All, We have a new implementation starting up soon and as always, I am confused whether to go with Next Generation Service Management or the standard Enterprise Service Management. In the past it was my understanding that NGSM would slowly replace ESM/EAM in IFS cloud but maybe I am wrong about this. One of the biggest issues I have is the fact that NGSM makes a request Customer mandatory while this is optional for ESM. So for internal maintenance processes, ESM still looks like the way to go. But when there are Customers involved, it seems more useful to go with NGSM. But for a customer that has both, I don’t really like to implement both processes since the large similarities between the two. It feels like there is more risk involving customer confusion compared to what is to gain in using both. How do other IFS users view this?@Alexander Heinze, If you have any expertise to share, that would be highly appreciated. Your documentation on NGSM/MWO and scheduling has been amazing
Hello,I am trying to create a WORKING_TIME rule in PSO Standalone (version 6.16) that limits the maximum working time within a specific reference period.To do this, I have defined the following elements in my XML:<DsModelling xmlns="http://360Scheduling.com/Schema/DsModelling.xsd"> <RAM_Rule_Type_Parameter> <parameter_id>MaximumTotalWorkingTime</parameter_id> <ram_rule_type_id>WORKING_TIME</ram_rule_type_id> <ram_data_type_id>TIMESPAN</ram_data_type_id> <default_value>PT8H30M</default_value> </RAM_Rule_Type_Parameter> <RAM_Rule_Type_Parameter> <parameter_id>ReferencePeriod</parameter_id> <ram_rule_type_id>WORKING_TIME</ram_rule_type_id> <ram_data_type_id>TIMESPAN</ram_data_type_id> <default_value>PT8H30M</default_value> </RAM_Rule_Type_Parameter> <RAM_Rule> <ram_rule_type_id&g
