PSO - Where can I find out how Travels With works?

Hi,I’ve gone through all the documentation supplied with the latest PSO version and there is only a few lines on Travels With and nothing that explains how it should be used. Does anyone have anything detailed on using this function? Does anyone currently use this within PSO please?

Do the records in metrix_audit table get automatically cleared periodically?

Hi experts! There is a need to setup some Audits for a customer for some tables they frequently work with. I know these logs get stored in the metrix_audit table. Considering the long run, there will be a high number of records in this table after some time. Therefore, does the baseline FSM application clear these records automatllcally from time to time? If not, is it possible to implement such a feature and how can this be achieved? Regards,Buddhima

Error in Dispatch Console

Hi All, Since yesterday, I have an error in the dispatch console when I try to choose one of the datasets (001) or if I click on Show more in the DC Resources block for dataset 001. Everything work fine in the Scheduling Workbench. I have attached a text file with the full error message. Could anyone help me or lead me on how to fix/understand this issue?

Checked rows Data update/Validate while selecting records.

Dears,we have search screen where we are trying to update multiple selected records on selection of checkbox highlighted below.Here we need to validate the selected records using client script by matching the Team id values from selected records. All Task Records related to same team should be if we are selecting records related to other team, there should be a validation alert on screen. by using below scriptvar row=getSearchResultDataTableCheckedRows();row.checked=true;is fetching only 1st record details from selected records, even we are selecting multiple records.validation is failing for multiple records selected. Different Skill Demand on several task rows: Correct allocation

deHi, I have a situation like this: 1 Service task with 3 demand lines as you can see in the pic.Detail of 2nd rowDetail of 3th row I have several technicians who could meet this case, however for the PSO the activities are unallocated. The PSO does not allocate the activities because it considers that ALL the skills (those on ALL 3 lines) are sent to the PSO as needed for ALL activities. How can I send to the PSO, for that single line only the skills that are needed and not all those needed for entire task? I hope I have managed to explain myself.I attach further images for more details:I know Res:54 is eligible for activity 121:

Unable to see the connected work order in the related page of the customer order

Hi, I have created a customer order from a work order via the customer order handling option in the menu option. This then creates my connection between WO and CO in which I can get to the CO. However when on the CO I am unable to find my connection to the work order in the related pages. I have seen this working in another environment. What am I missing?

DC Manual Allocation. Skill as hard constaint

I am preparing a demo on manual allocation. As the connection with PSO Environment is not available at the moment, I’d like to show the manual allocation via Dispatch Console. I have multiple resource demand for a task. So multiple lines of work allocation for the same task.I have created skills and linked them to standard tasks and resources. To assign a resource, I click on the Allocate/Assign button. Currently, I can assign a resource without a specific skill to a standard task that requires a specific skill. I expected that skills could be set as a hard constraint, is that the case? if not can it set to be so? Is this supported by the DC or by manual allocation without the support of the DSE?

Stop task dispatch to a working shift on future dates to an engineer having non-working current shift, without impacting next day commit

Hi IFSPlease find a scenario.Current Day/Day 0 = Engineer is non-working.Next Day/Day 1 = Engineer having working shiftTask allocated to Day 1. Customers are raising concerns that the field engineers are getting disturbed on non-working day. So what are the options to stop task auto dispatch from Day 0 to Day 1? Once the task get dispatched, it should be immediately get attended and sometimes the engineer will miss to check this task, leading to SLA breach and high penalties.Note:Next day commit is enabled and it is needed as well. Because if Day 0 and Day 1 are working for the engineer then next day commit should work. Thanks,Jagath

Port Exhaustion issue with FSM6 Web Client

Hello community. Looking for input on any experiences and resolutions with port exhaustion on the FSM web client. We are running FSM6u25 and have seen a recent spike in occurrences of failure of the web client due to port exhaustion. In the most recent occurrence, we had the # of ports set to 16,384 and now have increased them to 20,384 in hopes of providing some relief while we work on the root cause. FSM6 Web Client responsiveness - browser cache

I’m curious if anyone using the FSM6 Web Client (u25) has any tips or recommendations on how to resolve significant response delays when users are navigating between screens, running searches, saving transactions. We are currently working through some infrastructure recommendations following a ‘health check’ but wondering if anyone has identified or implemented any specific changes to help improve responsiveness.

Mass update statement After Mass insert

How to create scheduling resources?

I am looking for a way to associate a region to a person. I thought I could use the scheduling resources on the region details page. But there is nothing on the tab that allows me to add resources. How do I add scheduling resources to add to the region details tab Scheduling Resources? From what I read, scheduling resources are created at Service => Scheduling => Basic Data => Scheduling Basic Data => Scheduling Resources. However, I don’t have that menu option in my navigator. Do you know why that would be? Is there another way to associate a resource to a region or a person to a region? Thank you for your help!

History Log - User Issue

Hi,I have a question regarding history log in IFS Cloud (24.1.0)I tried to change manually the resource allocated on a Request Work Task. I did this in the Request Work Task Scheduling and Allocation - Assign Work - Allocations page. I deleted the existing resource and added a new resource.The change appears in my history log but unfortunately my user does not appear. It appears as if my colleague did it. This is the only change I make and it doesn't appear that I did it. For the other changes, my user appears.Do you have any idea what would be the problem and what could I do so that my user appears on this change?Thank you in advance.Kind Regards, Miruna

UI Designer issues with screen events

Hello FSM community,I have encountered an issue in the UI Designer of FSM, specifically within the PERSONCALLEXCEPTADD screen.The problem arises when attempting to add a line into the “Screen Events” -> “Table Events” section. Despite successfully adding a line and subsequently closing the “Screen Events” screen, the added line seems to disappear upon reopening the “Screen Events” window. Furthermore, the script that I try to add this way to the screen does also not execute.This issue has been consistently replicable, and I am currently unable to find a workaround. I am reaching out to inquire if anyone else has experienced a similar issue or if there is a known solution to this problem.With kind regards,Michael

Filter after resource groups in PSO

Hello,We have created several resource groups in IFS Cloud and the customer would like to filter in PSO after the resource group. The resource group is shown as skill, so I assumed that I can filter after the skill, but this is currently not possible in the customer environment.
