Currency Rates on Price Lists

Hello, We would like to create a price list for a US customer (in USD) We would like this price list to update automatically with the latest currency rate each month. Ideally this would be based on the GBP value at sales part level. Therefore, the sales order would pull through the latest price based on the GBP/USD rate for that month. Does IFS have a functionality to help me with this? (Can the price list reflect a change in GBP/USD rate) Thank youMike

Customer Agreement - Is it possible to default to "View with Valid Date"?

Hi Forum,We make use of Customer Agreements, and each agreement can have a lot of part lines, with many different valid dates.Is anyone aware of a way we can configure a base profile or user profile to have the radio button set to “View with Valid Date” (which defaults to today’s date) set as the default when a user opens the Customer Agreement screen and searches: rather than the radio button defaulting to View All? The reason for wanting this is that it’s most common for our users to want to see todays agreements, not the full history per part / date.We are on IFS10 UPD18, and currently using EE.I’ve tried everything I can think so not sure if it’s a bit of knowledge I don't’ know, or just not possible?Thanks in advance!

Perform RMA for the serialized part

Dear Community,We are currently facing challenges in handling the RMA for the serialized part.Let me provide you with a detailed overview of the situation.For quite some time, we have been using a particular inventory part. However, due to a requirement, we needed to transition this part to a serial tracking. Since there were no available stocks of the part, we managed to successfully convert it into a serial-tracked item. Recently, a part was returned by a customer, but it was initially delivered when the part did not have serial tracking enabled. Consequently, we are now encountering an error when attempting to receive the part with a serial number. We would greatly appreciate any assistance provided for this issue.  when I try to receive with Serial no, getting following error.Part Master

Order of printing pick notes

Hi, we have a CRIM that specifies the printer and the order in which the pick sheets need to come off the printer, but it still prints out randomly.  The print outs need to be in the order the user specifies within the shipment lines screen and according to our developers, this is all working as expected until it reaches the print queue, where its random.  Any assistance on this would be appreciated. thanks

Installation of UPD19 in Apps10 always stuck on "Start deploying file Emppay.ins"

we tried 3 times to install the UPD19 in our IFS10 TEST env, but every time we encounter the same issue, the installation process was stuck as below.    anyone could give us some idea how to check this issue? 0-30% take 1 hour,  but after 30%, process was stuck.

Where is the salesrep region information located in IFS Cloud?

Hello, I am currently looking for the sales representative information in IFS Cloud, more specifically, the region information. If a sales rep has ownership of specific regions, I’d like to see if I can use that to filter out the list of sales reps that you can select from when creating a new sales quotation for a specific region. Thanks,Bryan

erroneous shipment line

I have a erroneous shipment line that is connected to a shipment but does not have a connection to a customer order line. When I try to reassign the shipment line it gives an error saying customer order line does not exist. How do I get rid of this shipment line?

Expiration Date of Tax Exemption Certification No in the customer (tab "Tax Exempt Information")

Hi,if the Tax Exemption Certificate  has been expired then the Tax Liability “EXEMPT” usually should not be applied anymore. If customer order or invoices will be created after the expiration of the tax exempt certificate, the the applied tax / tax codes are not correct and an invoice should not be created with liability EXEMPT. Is there any check of the Expiration Date of a Tax Exemption Certification No within the customer order and or invoice in IFS Standard (App10, Cloud)? Thank you for your support.BR,Martin

Actual creator of PO Change order

Hi,I am just trying to find out if there is a way in IFS APP9 to find who actually created PO Change Order?As when any user creates PO change order it just copies current coordinator and Order History tab doesn't seems to be recording it either. Any ideas please?  Thank you Kate

Hello, How can you get Business Opportunities to automatically close once their expiration date is equal to the current date? This seems like a pretty basic feature but there doesn’t seem to be any options available on IFS Cloud

What is the purpose of the expiration date for Business Opportunities?

Hello,What is the purpose of the expiration date for Business Opportunities? Do they auto close once they go past the expiration date? if not, how do I get them to automatically do this? I have a scheduled database task that uses the “Set_Closed” method of the Business Opportunity API but I cannot set this to only occur when the Expiration date = SYSDATE. This results in an error that makes IFS think the opportunity is already deleted, because its not coming up with a result. Any and all advise would be greatly appreciated.Thanks,Bryan

How to email customer that their Business Opportunity is going to/has expired?

Hello,I would like to set up a process that notifies the customer that their Business Opportunity is going to expire in a week, 5 days, 3 days, and when the BO has actually expired. I can set up an event action to handle when a field has changed… so I’m thinking about having a daily database task that updates a custom field that represents how many days until this BO expires, and basing the event off of that.My only issue is the email portion, for the Business Opportunity, the contact email is not available for the entity. How can I set this up so that field appears on the BO? Obviously IFS has the entity connection set up since the Contacts appear on the BO page, but I cannot access that BusinessObjectContact entity from the BO entity, to add in a custom field that references the email.How should I approach this? Any and all advise would be greatly appreciated.Thanks,Bryan

Shipment Pro Forma Invoice - for none closed shipments

Maybe someone have the same requests in their companies. as I've received a request to check shipment proforma invoice details. Document by itself  should be created before phisical shipment is done ( closed) to send to the customer for a customs or any other purpose. Do you know if there's a chance to call that printout with all lines and details but before shipment status = closed? How did you mangaged such cases? Thanks a lot for any hints.regards, Łukasz

Business Opportunity Lines History

Hello my friendsHow can we record our Business Opportunity Lines (make a history) when they (Business Opportunity Lines) connect to Sales Quotation, As you know when we create Sales Quotation from Business Opportunity the Business Opportunity Lines automatically set in Sales Quotation lines and when we change the Sales Quotation lines, again automatically the Business Opportunity Lines has changed, Here how can we make a history from our pre-Business Opportunity Lines? (before make some changes in Sales Quotation lines ), Actually we need our Business Opportunity Lines in every step separately.Wish the best for you guysGood Luck

Scheduled Database Task to close Business Opportunity

Hello, I would like to automatically close a Business Opportunity when it expires (expiration date = today’s date). I wanted to do this via a Workflow, but sadly, you can’t schedule workflows to run daily, they have to be based off of a projection action or event action. I looked at scheduled database tasks, and I found the method Set_Closed for Business Opportunities, but sadly, the scheduled database task I set is not working. I have this set up so far:I added the “Expiration_date” parameter. Whenever this is run, I get this error: “ORA-20115: BusinessOpportunity.The "Business Opportunity" has already been removed by another user.”and no Business Opportunities close. Am I missing something? I’ve worked with some scheduled database tasks before that automatically create pick lists and reserve customer order items, but this is the first time I’ve seen parameters that (I’m assuming) are passed into the API to set the BO as either Won or Lost. The API Explorer documentation for this meth

Impact of Pre-posting on PO header and the account line

Hi Team,In the purchase order window, what is the functional impact of entering the ‘account’ value on the Pre-posting header or line? It seems that ‘account’ for the double entry created under inventory transaction history is always fetched from posting control.Further, it was observed that pre-posting values entered other than the ‘account’ field are fetched for posting against IP1 transaction at invoicing stage.Thanks

Auto Close Business Opportunity

I am wanting to understand why the business opportunity does not auto close when the attached sales quote was converted to an order and subsequently closed. Example: BO#1 → Converted to SQ#1 → Converted to CO#1 BO Status = Confirmed - why is this not closing?SQ Status = ClosedCO Status = Released

How to email and message Customers

Hello,I would like to email or message a customer during certain things. I see this Message Groups section that I would like to have enabled for Business Opportunities and Sales Quotations. I’d like to send out follow up emails 7, 5, and 3 days before the expiration date, and then one once the Sales Quotation has expired. How do I do this? Workflows need to be triggered by projection actions or event actions, and events, to my knowledge, cannot be triggered based off of values of the fields it’s observing, only that once the field has been changes, it gets triggered.Does anyone know how I go about doing this?Thanks,Bryan

CRM Access - Customer VS Prospect Edit Permissions Access

Hello, I am looking for advice in how to handle permissions in CRM. Currently we have our Sales Reps set up with CRM Access and no update ability because we don’t want them to make changes at the Category = Customer Level. However this restrict them from making any changes at the Category = Prospect level which we do want. Is there a way to allow this within the CRM Access or are there any suggestions on how to grant this type of access to a group of users ? I feel like I am missing a small piece to connect it together. Any advice is appreciated Thank you

Intersite order processing

I have things working correctly until I get to Supplier Material and Register Arrivals.  Here is what I’m trying to do and where the issues are.  Running App10 UPD9 This all works great.Create customer order on site 2 with Int Purch Dir to site 1.  System creates PO for site 1 Supplier Run Automatic Order Processing on site 2 System creates Customer Order for site 1 with Purch Order Dir System creates Purchase Requistion for site 1 to Supplier Release, authorize and convert to PO Requisition creates PO for site 1 for Supplier with ship address to original customer order on site 2.  This is a purchase part with structure Run Automatic Order Processing on site 1 and Purchase order is set to released status What does not workSupplier Material is not available to know what to ship to supplier Can’t receive the product (Register Arrivals is blank for PO)
