We are finding that searches for customers and contacts are taking between 1-2 minutes to return the results.
Examples:
- ‘Customers - Sales Specific Information’ screen
- Search on ‘Post/Zip Code’
- Results take 1-2 minutes to return
- ‘Account Contacts’ screen
- Search for part of a contact name
- Results take 1-2 minutes to return
- ‘Customer Order’ screen
- Click on ‘Customer’ drop down
- Click ‘Find’
- In the slide-out screen, search for full or partial Post/Zip code
- Results take 1-2 minutes to return
These times are not acceptable in general but additionally not acceptable when you have a customer on the phone waiting 1-2 minutes before you can even find their account.
What can we do to improve the speed? Are others facing the same?
