Hi All, I have created a new Business Opportunity in IFS Cloud, but I don’t see a button to send the Business Opportunity to the CRM Outlook Panel?  The Business Activities has this functionality, but I don’t see it for Business Opportunity. Any thoughts? See below, there is no button to send to CRM Outlook.Thank you,Alex

One of the options on a non-inventory sales part is to have it replaced by another part. This works great on a customer order. One is correctly notified that a replacement part was found and automatically the new replacement part is overwriting the entered sales part.However, on a sales contract we have the Revision and Items. This allows to include also a non-inventory sales part, but the replacement part is not checked. Resulting that an incorrect part is used. One is not even notified of the replacement part number to be used.One should really deactivate the replaced non-inventory sales part in order to overcome delivery of an ‘old’ part.Anyone that can help me understand what the logic behind this is?

Simple question, just can’t find a definitive answer anywhere. Looking at setting up the B2B Portal, but need to know about Users. If someone is going to log into the B2B site, do they need to be a fully licensed user?

I have a client who wants to increase the beginning Shipment ID # to a higher number. There is no Shipment ID option in the Coordinators Group to change this. Is there any known option of changing/increasing the beginning Shipment ID#?

We are running apps 10.   We are looking to upgrade to cloud next year.    We are using avalara for collecting taxes for US and Canada.   We have a unique situation where we need to charge 10% “Tax” on a customer.    If we add the tax codes to the customer all is good until we create the order.   they then do not get copied over to the customer order.    So we went in and manually added the 10% tax to the customer order lines and charges and the order looked good.   When we created an invoice it dropped the taxes and posted to the GL and Accounts Receivable with no tax.  Now we can add a “Charge” to the order to get the 10% “Tax” on all the lines.   but that charge will not include the other charges.    Anyone got any good ideas on how tell The IFS/Avalara interface code that this country is not taxed thus do not drop the manual tax codes?

We are upgrading to IFS Cloud and we are trying edit a Crystal Report based Quick report and when we click the Edit button we are unable to alter the Report Reference field.  When I tried to click the Update Crystal Report button an upload from the file location I receive an error stating:ReportLayoutCrQr.The “Report Layout Cr Qr” has already been removed by another user. 

Hi Community,I have changed maxlength of a field from 25 to 50.However, it’s not possible to save under under Shipment Handling Unit Structure . Can anyone tell me why? 

We are on 23R1 and we currently use the “Connect to Opportunity” functionality on the Business Activity. We are trying to figure out if there is a way to disconnect an activity from an opportunity in the case where it may have been connected to the wrong opportunity. We can’t seem to find any way in the web ui or in the odata API to disconnect. Is it possible?

We have a situation where a customer prefers to pay under a single invoice name. To accommodate this, we need to consolidate all their prices under one price list. However, since they have different prices for the same items at different plants, we need to assign four different prices to the same items. Unfortunately, the sales price list only allows us to set a single price per part, or two prices if the part is listed in two different currencies. The differences in prices are the shipping prices if that helps anything.

Hi all, we are looking to see if there is an ability to add a parameter into a Database task. we have a process that looks at the order type and releases orders from planned but unfortunately there is only the option to use ORDER_CREATED_TIME_OFFSET. I’m hoping to be able to reference Wanted Delivery date / time instead.Is this customisable and if so, where could one reference the above?As always, any pointers massively appreciated.

We have a non-inventory sales part on a customer order line.  When we change the quantity on that line, the system is automatically showing it Reserved and Picked, ready for delivery.  We don’t want it to do that.  Is there a way to prevent the auto-reservation and picking of non-inventory parts?

Hello,Is it possible to setup a Campaign with different discount-% depending on who the sales person it?As example:Part number 123456 with a list price of 1000 EuroOrder created by Sales person 1 = gets 5% discountBut if Sales person 2 make as identical order, he will get 10% discount?A sort of Level 1, level 2, level 3 discount structure that copies the different discounts into the Customer Order automatic, depending on who the Main Rep. is.We are currently on Apps9, pending switch to Cloud, so question goes for both systems.Thanks,Michael

As i know, Customer agreements are only for inventory parts, is there any possibility to have the same for non-inventory parts?Thank you :)

I have created:Sales Process Template  Sales Process - Process IDHowever due to a change in naming convention I wanted to delete a Sales Process from the CRM & SRM basic data - I have not used the Sales Process on a Business Opportunity, but I get the following error: Am I just being  numpty? The Rm Proc Process “name of Sales process” is used by 7 rows in another object (Rm Proc Stage).   I have removed all the Action IDs per Stage ID and, but I am unable to delete this Sales Process as it is linked to the Sales Process Template - where the 7 rows are.  I am using the Sales Template so do not want to get rid of that. Is there a way to delete this Sales Process in the basic data as I hate untidy basic data? 

 Cannot add an Inventory Part Location. When selecting New and adding a Part Number, the screen times out and presents an Error Message. Refreshing the cache did not resolve the issue. When trying to add a new location, the part number doesn't auto populate and when we try to type the part number in to force it to go through, it takes it out right away.   

There seems to be two areas for basic data for Contact Roles within IFSCloud 23.1.11. Relationship Management > Customer Relationship Management > Basic Data > CRM Contact RolesandApplication Base Setup > Enterprise > Basic Data > Contact Roles What is the purpose of the two datasets? Within Customer Contacts, role can be selected and this considers Basic Data. Within Sales Quotation process role can be selected and this considers CRM Contact Roles. I’d expect both to consider the same dataset.

Hello - I have a customer that is using the Quick Customer Order Registration assistant. When they try to use the “Add From Order” to copy the lines from an existing customer order, change the quantities the lines are not copied over.    

We would like to run a month long campaign for all customers aside from a few national accounts that already receive discounts on the campaign items.  What is the best way to go about this?  I have selected the “include all customers” toggle to get the campaign applied to everyone but I’d like to be able to exclude these two customers.  We are running IFS Cloud 23R2 if it matters.

Can we add a new field value to Business Opportunity Journal? If it is ok can it be done by user? For example BO Notes

Our German site needs the below development to comply with a legal requirement there [The document outgoing material (“Materialausgabe”). has the fields document number (“Belegnummer”), a document date (“Datum”, here 09-01-2024) and the receiver of the material (“Subunternehmer”) ]In order to fullfil that, ideally we should have the below mentioned custom columns when we issue or unissue materials via Project Navigator > Demand >  Misc. Parts > Issue from Inventory / unissue to Inventory Date, Unique dispatch number, Material and quantity, Name of subcontractor These details need to be fechted to somewhere like the overview ‘Inventory Part in Stock’Because based on the “Materialausgabe” only [generated separately, not a report through IFS] they would issue / unissue materials. Has anyone modified IFS9 for this / similar requirement? I do understand that introducin
