Buying (Procurement, Demand Planner, ASC, SRM)

It doesn't appear we can easily combine shipments from two sites into one.  Consolidated shipments appear to only look at a single site and it won't let me assign a shipment from one site into a shipment in another site.  Does anyone know of a workaround? Thanks

Hi All,I’m trying to figure out if there is a a way to gross up the cost of my inventory to include the cost of the incoming freight. I know that we can do that in the purchase order process, but that would really bog down my AP. Is there a way to allocate it to the parts on the invoice? Is there a way to just allocate the entire GL balance to all parts on hand?  Thanks,Mike

While Receiving an item (Register Arrivals) the whole qty is being Reserved automatically,in IFS10In APP8 we used to Reserve manually after Receipt.. 

Hello Community,We are using IFS APPS 8.After executing MRP batch Job we have found that Beginning on hand stock is not showing correct for one raw material.I have check the on hand stock it is 500 and MRP showing it as 700.What will be the issue can some one help on this. RegardsDeepak

Hi,  I’m trying to set up IFS for the french Chorus-Pro invoices service and I miss 3 mandatory fields. The global extension IFS app 10 UPD9 provides the service code which is mandatory, but I cannot find the others fields as : the commitment number the market number the contract number Does anyone have the same issue to include/ find theses additional informations for Chorus Pro?

Good day, I have a question about Register Arrivals > Receive dialogue box W/D/R No field - can this field default to blank and mandatory?  Currently when I go into Register Arrivals and RMB > Receive, the W/D/R No field currently displays ‘*’Many thanks John

Hi therehope you are all doing well!Our organisation are taking on a new warehouse and moving many thousands of lines of stock into the new warehouse. I’m hoping for some advice on how whether it is possible to move inventory in bulk in a more efficient way than creating transport tasks. I’ve been looking at the migration tool and was wondering whether this could be used or if there Are any other options?  We’re currently using Apps 9.  Thank you to you all in advance 😀

Hello!I searched through the forums but could not find this specific error. When generating a calendar after a new exception was inserted we get an error with the text ([..] below were removed by me):Error while updating Purchase Order Line. Order No: [..]  Line No: [..], Release No: 1, Planned Receipt Date: [..]. ORA-20110: SuppBlkPeriod.NO_CHANGES_ALLOWED_: No changes allowed when Supplier Agreement status is Cancelled.I discussed this with our system architect who hadn’t seen this error before. I found the cancelled agreements in the module Procurement→ Supplier->Pricing→ Supplier agreements but I don’t know how to solve this issue or why this would affect the calendar. We’re using IFS 8 

Hello Community,We are using IFS APPS 8We need to create on email alert to purchase team when the on Hand stock is less than safety stock.I have created below custom event but getting challenge in event act ion while applying condition.I need to create this alert for those parts which are in the ware house MST.and how can I apply this in the event action condition tab.Please help.  

I am trying to understand the difference between these two. Any information regarding how do these two tabs work will be useful.  

In our current (non IFS) system, it is possible to create one Distribution Order and then add multiple order lines to it for different items to be added to the same order, but in IFS, currently our users are having to create many individual distribution orders containing single order lines in each, then having to merge them to get to the same point, which is time consuming. Some of our distribution orders, used for site to site internal stock moves can have many items on them. Has anyone else ran into this issue, and found a way to allow multiple order lines to be added to a single distribution order? Or is thissomething IFS are planning to add in the future? I was wondering whether somebody has good tips on how to provide our buyers with Inventory turnover figure to purchase requisition line to help them sanity check the future PO line and planning data in general. I’ve been looking at API’s and available views but a good candidate for the information source has not popped up… This information would be really helpful for reducing the inventory levels in long term. Thanks

We had a case where customer was using Apps9 ESTIMATES Extension and customer reported erroneous costs on Estimates cost build up.It was bringing in high labor costs for purchased raw parts… labor costs are only supposed to happen for manufactured parts.This customer was using configurations and whenever they selected a different sub assembly/compressor (i.e. different from the one they acquired via the RMB Load from template) via edit configurations and recalculated the costs on the estimate, the problem was noticed.  From the SQL point of view, your estimate in error will show up when you run the following SQL (and you can add an “and” condition to include your estimate_id). In an ideal situation, the following SQL is not supposed to return any rows, but if it does (whether in Apps9 or Apps10), you have a cost build up problem with that estimate.select Estimate_Node_API.Get_Displaytext(estimate_id, estimate_revision_no, node_id)   item_nam

We are using IFS Apps10 UPD10 We have a scenario where the expediting fee we need to add on the PO is a percentage of the calculated line price.  Right now we are calculating this outside of IFS and just entering the calculated price on the PO line.  I’m wondering if there is a way to enter this scenario in an IFS PO line (purchased part) so IFS can do the math.Example:Price = 100Discount = 25%Unit Net = 75Express Fee = 75 * .15 (15%) = 11.25Express Unit Net = 86.25Is there a way I can enter 100, 25%, 15% and get IFS to do the math?

If you have posted a Return line in the Receipt app - how do you cancel or reverse this, if it was done in error?  Qty to Inspect cannot be a negative number, so I can’t just add a negative receipt to offset.

Is there a way to capture who created the transport task? Currently we have some struggles where the user processing the transport task may have questions or such. At this time we have not been able to find any fields that are storing the requestor/creator.

Hello Community.We are using IFS APPS 8.We are performing MRP. During MRP run we have considered specific customer order lines and their schedule in MRP run by un checking Release for Material planning flag. After MRP RUN we have found that Purchase requisitions of Raw material were generated for those parts which were not included as a schedule in customer order line.when we checked the reason then found that some shop orders of of the parent parts of this raw material were in Release state and not completed issued or completed received or in closed state. That’s why these purchase requisitions generated.Is there any option to to exclude open shop order requirement for parts which we dont want to consider  during MRP run in IFS APPS 8.

A question for technical experts please,We need to implement a modification in IFS where,  A Free text box to be introduced to the Supplier window to input the text used right now on sticky note When the PO is loaded, (e.g. query by a user) that piece of info is to be fetched from the Supplier need to be popped up as an Information message. Users can ok it and proceed with the PO Do you think this is technically feasible at all, especially point 2? 

Hi All, we have an ongoing issue with incorrect delivery dates pulling through onto Supplier Schedules.  Our scheduled suppliers have set delivery days of the week and these are set up as a part of the supplier schedule agreement. However when we have bank holidays, the dates shift as a result and continue to shift with dates into the future.  In the attached example, the schedule date is Monday but as soon as a Bank Holiday approaches the day moves out to Wednesday and then Thursday & Friday.  Any suggestions as to why this happens and how it can be resolved? Hello,The company I work for is running a pilot using the B2B supplier portal - we are running on apps 10. We have run into a situation where the supplier contact that will manage the orders from within the portal is tied to multiple supplier numbers within the IFs system. We set up each of the suppliers and persons appropriately and as seen below check all the supplier numbers, but are not seeing all of the right data in the portal for each supplier number.It seems IFS is only allowing for there to be a single default supplier and only those orders/data set appears in the portal.Does anyone know if multiple suppliers can be set for a single person?  

Does IFS have something similar to ‘Supplier Scorecard’ to score for KPIs agreed with the supplier? We use IFS10. 

Customs Value Currency must be filled in manually in Shipment under General. I want the currency from the Customs Order to show in this field. How can this be solved?
