Hi everyone,I'm currently supporting a client in evaluating a migration of their notification system from rules implemented in the Action Processor to the Notifier.I'm encountering some issues when trying to define the rule for triggering a ticket creation notification. Specifically, I'm struggling to get the rule to work as expected.Has anyone here already worked with the Notifier for managing notifications?Here’s the rule I’m trying to use:$new.actionTypeCount = 1 AND $new.actionType.shortCode = "ASSIGN"Any insights or examples would be greatly appreciated.Thanks in advance!

Will the Event Monitor in the new GUI replace the old GUI, or will they always co-exist? We ask this as it currently seems impossible to import event queries made in the old GUI to the new GUI, bar manually copying every event query manually by each user. This is not an option for us as we have over a thousand assyst users, each with multiple queries of varying complexity.

I know that it is possible to set the number of rows returned when querying Assyst data with the REST API, but I don’t know nor can I find an example in documentation on how to limit number of rows returned to “x” number of rows.asking for ALL open service request events, is more than 500 rows.  I would like to limit the number of rows so my query does not error out and will run.any help is greatly appreciated and “Thanks” in advance

We are trying to attach files in assystNET and it will not attach.  In the system parameters I have it max file upload to 50MB and this file is 11KB.  I can upload it in assystWEB but not in assystNET.  Is there an area in system parameters that I can change the upload file size? I logged the test ticket and tried to attach it with assyst Update and it gave this error:  

Perhaps I’ve missed it in my wiki deep dives but is it possible to have users modify the building/location/room values on a form via the service catalog offering and leverage the event builder to route it to the appropriate responsible svd, etc?Issue is users may be requesting maintenance for a specific area of a facility, example being Main Hospital, Plaza 1. If it is only able to go by that users default associated details it doesn’t allow for the correct routing if they’re requesting maintenance for something elsewhere.So far I cannot get these values visible for manipulation via customizer for the fields in question.Has anyone leveraged this before?  I know with a CMDB and item/category/location correlation you can do this but until we’ve gotten to that point I’m looking for a basic form to have users choose from locations within their facility.-Mitch

Hi,  Just a question regarding the Discussions menu on the Self Service portal. Can you limit who can create new discussions, I have had a look on the wiki and cant find anything to suggest you can on the Self Service Portal. Happy to log this as an enhancement suggestion if it is not already a feature.Thanks

Is there any functionality to add keywords in bulk for Knowledge Procedures and Service Offerings. Currently adding keywords is very tedious as you can only add them one at a time with multiple clicks. Please let me know if this is already available in ETM or some other way, if not I will submit it as an Idea.

Currently, in the Event Monitor in the new GUI, when opening an action, the Description-field is not selected. Instead, the first field available is selected.For our Assyst Users, this means that they have to manually select the Description-field every single time they want to do an action from the Event Monitor in the new GUI.However, in the current Event Monitor, in the old UI, it autoselects the Description-field.Removing this in the new GUI decreases efficiency and adds worktime for all of our Assyst Users.

Hey All,We do a good job having our software as items in our CMDB. We also have our printers and computers in as assyst CMDB also. On the hardware printer items in CMDB were store the print queues for printers in config characteristics. The problem is you cannot search for the serial no in the characteristic. We are going to be moving our printer queues as separate items with relations to the hardware. That’s easy. We want to also relate the print queue to the software it is used by.Question. What do people do when relating it to the software?The two scenarios we came up with were:relating all print queues directly to the Software item. creating another item called “<Software Name> Print Service”, adding relation for this item to the software, and relating all print queues to the “<Software Name> Print Services” item.Technically the majority of these software are running a service for printing but its creati

Wanted to reach out and see if anyone that has taken the update recently is using the notifier build out for some or all of their email templates in lieu of or in tandem with smartmail?I’m interested in the potential for this and bringing more into the UI and managing there vs an integration server etc.One thing I had a question on was satisfaction overall with it, where you’ve seen any improvement or issues. Also, if you utilized action templates preivously how you were able to incorporate those with the new functionality? Even if not using in production anyone who has gone through the work of building out in dev/test as I am in the beginning stages myself.Thanks!

Hi all,Has anyone found a way to prevent users taking action on closed events?I suspect this will require a new function on the Integration Server but before we go down that path I’d like to confirm there is no native way to configure this.I’ve searched through the available event privileges and reviewed action configuration but can’t see a way to complete the required configuration.We’re on assyst 11.7.4.

Hello,I’m evaluating a request from our users to have parts of an event form in the Self-Service Portal auto-populated based on a QR code or similar technology, and I need some help to determine if it’s currently possible.The users want quick access to log requests for certain equipment, such as printers, hospital equipment ect. We aim to support this, and were thinking of using QR codes for the equipment, allowing for easier event logging.My immediate idea is to use Deep Linking (Assyst Wiki) and prepare QR codes for use in labeling the equipment. These QR codes would point to a specific service or service offering, along with the specific item ID for the labeled equipment.However, the wiki only mentions deep linking

Hi Everyone,I’m trying to create tasks for each selection in a custom multi-select lookup field. We are running assyst version 11.6.3.In the process designer I have been able to create a Dynamic Task Expression for a single-select lookup, but I am unsure of how to get this working for values selected in a multi-select lookup.Here’s what I used as a dynamic task expression for a single-select lookup for a custom field called “ADHOC SINGLE”:  $new.W("ADHOC SINGLE").shortCode.   I have another field called “ADHOC MULTIPLE” where I can select multiple values.Any ideas?  Or is this maybe not possible in our version of assyst?Thanks!Jaco

Hello. I am looking for information on how to change the default logo on the new Event Monitor UI to our company logo. Using version 11.5.      I need help ughI created a process with an automated decision that brings the user to a manual decision with a Y/N answer.  For some reason, they can say no but cannot choose yes.  When they choose yes, the error below is what they get.  I went to the sub-process and the next stage is an automated email action which then goes to an auto-decision.  I’ve provided the two processes to show you. First process with auto decisionSub-process they can’t make the Yes Decision - Government Employee

I would like to initiate a process based on changes to data in a custom field. Is this possible within IFS Assyst? Specifically, I need to automate the creation of an authorization task when a project's budget is exceeded. Any insights or guidance on how to achieve this would be greatly appreciated!

A couple of things.(1). is there an OpenAPI file or URL for assystREST that can be used to create a Power Automate Custom Connector?(2) currently using Power Automate HTTP action and receiving “410” error code.  Looking for any legit authentication example(s) with such a scenario.

Is anyone allowing for Approvals/Rejections via email, and if so, can you provide a little info on how you are doing that. I’m able to allow my users to take actions via email to take the Additional Info and Chase Up actions, but the decision “actions” aren’t a clear cut and I’m having difficulty figuring that out. I have a requirement to link a newly created Service Request to existing Service Request using ETM. Complete process:I am triggering an ETM Channel on a task of Service Request. From this ETM Channel I am creating a new Service Request. Everything is working fine.The only issue is that I am not able to link this new Service Request with existing Service Request.Please help.
