Hello,The company I work for has many mobile pieces of equipment (functional objects), each of which is a different site. We use PM Actions with condition based triggering (travel miles as example) to create work orders and part requisitions that the machine crew would release. Each piece of equipment is large, containing many other sub-functional and serial objects. In total, there are roughly 300 separate PM Actions for each machine.The issue I’m having is when a machine is shut down for many months (non-service related), the maintenance plan continues to look at “calculated” due dates and creates inventory part demand. I have the Condition Forecast Configuration set to Last Measurement at Maintenance, but for PM’s that would generally create monthly or weekly work orders, when the machine is shut down for many months, the Inventory Part Demand goes back in time and thinks all past due dates will need to be completed and is creating demand. Hi,For our solution, Prepare Work Order contains many Custom Fields. I want these Custom Fields to be visible via ‘Active Work Orders’. If I run a sql query on ‘Active_Seperate_CFV’ all the custom fields are returned but when I access via ‘Active Work Orders’ from the Navigator I do not have any of the Custom Fields available / visible. Is it possible to bring in the Custom Fields from ActiveSeperate into Active Work Order Overview? Custom Fields: Active Work Orders - None show under Custom Objects

Is there a way of identifying the ‘Due Date’ of a completed PM Action? Once a PM Action has the Work Order Generated and Closed, the Due Date is removed and the Planned Date updates to the Date the Work Order was prepared.I need a way of knowing what Planned Date was so I can report ‘Required Maintenance in a Period’ vs ‘Completed Maintenance in a Period’. How do I best achieve this? 

Hi Community,we are starting soon with IFS app 10.We are supplying equipments to industry and those equipments are sometimes returned by customers to our premises, for repair. If my understanding is correct, I need to fill the check box “allow part ownership transfer” in the Client, so that I can link the Serial Object to another customer, if necessary. This would be the scenario were we have supplied equipment to customer A some years ago, but meanwhile customer A sold the equipment to customer B.Is this the right way to proceed ?Also, does this checked box have influence on other processes in IFS ?Thanks for your inputs.  

At the time of go-live, we uploaded only opening balances of fixed assets. Now we have to upload fixed assets register to the system. Need support on this to clear opening balances and upload fixed asset register.

Hi All, Customer has Upgraded to UPD12 recently and they have faced to permission issue when assigning resources to the work task demands(screenshot is attached below). After our investigations found that user didn’t have permissions to MAINT_RESOURCES_LOV6. That is separately added from UPD12. Hi, It is possible to create Two identical Serial Objects (Part no and serial no are different) in two different sites. I have shared screen shots  below. Please explain the rationale behind this. In the explanation under the “Object ID”, it says that the identity must be unique, as the system will not accept any duplicate of an object ID. Screen shot 1Screen Shot 2

When we setup a new installation on a offshore rig; We take a copy of production database & install it on offshore server, configure replication & control the access for onboard (offshore) users using permission sets.But this put unwanted data on the offshore server. Is there any other way to do it. Just to keep only the relevant site data on offshore server and replicate?

I am working with a customer that has an on prem ESRI environment. We have set up the GIS in their PPR environment and in their Dev environment but still cannot see the interactive map in IFS.No one on the project has any experience with setting up ESRI. However this environment was set up by someone that knows what they are doing. We absolutely need this to work and any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi,I can not add a printer in Print agents in IFS app9. I have added the printer in the logical printers list but can still not choose it in Print agents. Does anyone know what the solution to this could be?Since I can not add the printer in print agents, the job failes to print.Thanks!
