hi

Hi @Djedai, Mwo home page icons are currently not fully configurable.

Some specific item you can hide from Emp workflow.

In IFS Cloud you can hide Most of icons by revoke security for security groups from below path.

Solution Manager/Aurena Native Apps/Administration/Security Grants and Entity Filters/Security Grants By Permission Set

thanks very much

i would like to know the workflow status beteween. at least the constraints
workorder status - worktask status - workassignment status
→ is there any drawing somewhere ?

Hi @Djedai, There is no connection between workflow status and workorder/task/assigment status. We have workflow status only to make it Active/Disable

The important column on workflow is Configuration Type. They determine how workflow interact with Task or Employee.

hi Bandula

Thanks for your answer you are right about configuration of workflow/.

but my question that wasn’t clear

I want to know the contraints between

  - Workorder status

  - worktask status

  - Work assignment status

For Example :

workorder in started status : cannot add worktask

workassignment complete then the workstask status becomes Workdone

cannot finish (conclude) a worktask if work assignment are not completed

...

→ there is a complexity to understand betewwen theese 3 status.  is it describes somewhere ?

or do i need to test each combinaison .?

Regards

hi @Bandula , Hi @Thommy

about conclude workorder

Is it possible

when all worktask are finished the workorder close automatically (change status to finish)

is there a parameter in IFS are this is should be done by an Event ?

Thanks

Best regards

Hi @Djedai,

There is no direct drawing of the relation between the different status (WO, Work Task and Work Assignment). There are About descriptions in the online help that describes some (not all I think) of this.

There is no parameter setting to close WO automatically when finishing the last Work Task.

The recommended process would be to set all Work Tasks to Work Done or Reported and then close the work of by setting the WO to Finish - and to allow for this there is a separate command ‘Close Work Order’ in Conclude Work Order screen that finish the WO and all connected Work Tasks (if they can be set to finish).

Hi @Tommy, @Bandula

in 21R1 There is a flag in workorder

when it is set, when closing all tasks the workordre will be closed automatically

Hi @Djedai,

Yes you are correct, we have introduced this functionality.

My bad.

hi @Thommy

Another question :

When i create the workorder manually thru Prepare workorder screen. It creates the workorder at work request status.

Is there a configuration to create it as Under Preparation status (work task also) instead of new

or must be done by event ? specific coding ?

Hi @Djedai

There isn’t any standard configuration setting for this.

There is one for work tasks created from PM Action (Object Property Name PM_DEF_TASK_STATUS), but not for manually created work tasks (or work orders).

You need to handle this with a local configuration/customisation.
