Hi,When modifying an Outside Operation in Routing, entering a new non-existing Outside Operation Item (OOI) no longer triggers the "Create Outside Operation Item" dialog. Instead, it throws an error.Work around solution as below:Temporarily change the Work Center from the Outside Operation Work Center to a different Work Center. Close the "Create Outside Operation Item", because the wrong center is selected. Change the Work Center back to the original Outside Operation Work Center. The "Create Outside Operation Item" dialog is then triggered. Continue editing and save the routing. However, this option was available in APPS10.Outside Op Item is modified and tried to save. Is there any straightforward method in cloud as well?A window will be popped up requesting to create a new Part Number.Once proceeded with selecting Yes, it will direct to another window where the user is able to create a new Part. After required data is given, the Outside Op Item will be available in the routing operat

We are creating a Material Requisition (MRN). For example, if we create an MRN for an engine with a quantity of 2, when we create the asset numbers, the system creates the objects and links them through pre-posting.For the second engine, since there are two separate physical assets, how should we create and link the second asset number? Where should we do the posting for the second engine? For example, we create a Material Requisition (MRN) for 2 engines. When creating the assets, we  creates the objects and links them through pre-posting.Since the MRN quantity is 2 and there are two separate engine assets, how should we handle the second engine? Where and how should we perform the posting so that the second engine is linked to its respective asset/object number?Could you please clarify the correct process in IFS Applications 10 for handling multiple assets against one MRN line?

Hi everybody, In Italy, the Quarterly Tax Liquidation Report should report in the field VP2 - Totale operazioni attive (al netto dell'IVA) (Total sales) the net amount of proper sales, without considering the net amount of the entries generated by Reverse Charge purchases,  but in field VP4 - IVA esigibile (Payable VAT) must contain the VAT amount of these operations. Had anyone found a way to generate the Quarterly Tax Liquidation Report in this way? Thank you,

Hello,My company is implementing IFS Cloud as our new ERP system.I am supporting our Engineering team in setting up product structures. We create the structures in Engineering Parts and then transfer them to the sites using the Engineering Revision Transfer process. The structure is based on a combination of parts with the acquisition codes Phantom and Make. We use the Phantom parts as "containers" for the Make parts. We have noticed that, for some structures, certain components are missing from the configuration structures after the transfer. In most cases, all parts with the Make acquisition code are transferred correctly and are visible in the Configuration Structure view of the transferred structure. However, in some cases, only 18 out of 23 Make parts appear in the configuration structure. What could be causing this issue? The settings for all parts are identical, and we always use the same transfer template. The missing components are also not visible when performing a detailed tran

Is there a way to design a GL Automatic Posting Rule around a Code Part Attribute? For example, we have an attribute of “Category” on our Project code parts. I’d like to set up a rule to post projects of a certain Category to a specific cost center. We have thousands of projects and only 5 attribute categories, so I’m hoping to define a rule around the attribute rather than at the individual project code part level. Appreciate any thoughts you have on this.

Hi,I have a number of lines in Project Revenue Postings that are stuck in Posting Status Valid. What is missing to get these to be transferred? The only selection available in this screen is Update Invoice Postings, which does not change anything.I am guessing some kind of BG job is missing?

Do we need to apply the Application service update or is it good enough to upgrade to the latest Framework service update released 17. September 2026? And can it be confirmed that the fix will be delivered on all version at 17. September 2026

Hello, One of our users is wondering if there is an “edit” shortcut. Some screens require scrolling to the top of the page to click the pencil for editing. Wondering if this exists or if I should create an idea. Thanks,Gen

Hello,We have noticed what appears to be a challenge with employee termination dates and Time Clocking in IFS Cloud. In Finland, an employee's last working day is typically the day when the employment is still active and the employee is expected to work and clock in. The employment relationship ends only after that day. However, when an employee's employment is ended in IFS Cloud with a specific end date, the employee is unable to clock in via Time Clocking on that same date.Example:Fixed-term employment ends on 31-Aug-2026. The employee should still be able to work and clock in on 31-Aug-2026. In IFS Cloud, the employee cannot clock in on that date because the employment appears to be considered inactive immediately on the end date. This creates a gap between local business/legal expectations and the system behavior.Questions:Is this the expected standard behavior in IFS Cloud? Is there a configuration setting that allows employees to remain active throughout the end date and become inac

I am trying to create a Report Rule with an Action to Check In To Document Management.  When I print the document, I can get the system to create a Document based on the Document Class.  I need to also connect to an LU.  The LU is a Document Folder.  If my Document Folder name is Supplier, how would I enter the information in the Connected LU field? The Documentation has the following for Connected LU:<u>ConnectedLU / KeyRef:</u> You can specify if the generated report should be attached to an application form as an attachment. In this case you have to specify the LU and key-value pair to uniquely identify an instance in the LU. For example, if you want to attach the 'Invoice' report, in to the 'Customer Invoice' form, you need to specify the LU as 'CustomerOrder" from the ConnectLU combobox and Invoice\_no as the key and a value for that key. You can hardcode a value or retrieve the value from a xpath. But I am unsure of what to enter…. Any help would be appreciated.Gregg

I was trying to create a “Case” using My Call Center > New Case in IFS Cloud 26R1 environment. I observed a confusing behavior. I’ve added the test steps as below. Could you please look into them and let me know how can I solve this issue?Functional StepsI’ve used below steps to create a new case.Go to New Case using My Call Center (Relationship Management > My Call Center > New Case) added a Customer. For “Caller” section, “Caller Type” External is selected. External caller is selected from the LOV.  Make the toggle “Connect Object” TRUE, selected the “Customer Order” as the object.  I couldn’t enter the “Customer Order No”. The field “Customer Order” is not visible.  After, I’ve done below steps. Changed the “Caller Type” to “Internal”.  Selected the Customer Order as the object. Then “Customer Order” field is visible. Customer Order No is selected. At this point, the value in the “Caller” is not removed (refer below figure). After I changed the “Caller Type” value to “Extern

We have a customer facing an issue after a change in the company structure. As part of the reorganization, document access rules were changed for individual users. The result is that newly assigned users can access newly created documents, but they do not automatically gain access to older documents that were created before the organizational change.Questions:What is the recommended way to handle this situation in IFS Document Management? Is there a standard approach to grant newly assigned users access to historical documents without manually updating existing document access records? For a new implementation, would it be considered a best practice to assign document access through groups/roles rather than individual users, so that future organizational changes do not create the same issue and new group members automatically gain access to both existing and future documents?Any experience or recommendations would be appreciated.

How do we determine the file size of documents that have been uploaded into Cloud? We are using the DocMan module, and the Document Revisions. But I can't see an easy way to determine the size of files uploaded.

Hello community, We are in IFS Cloud 24R2 and  we would like to upgrade to 25r2 Su9. I have a problem this yhe adjusted demand in forecast demand. The quantity in “adjusted demand” is changed by a process. I can't figure out why this happens or how to prevent it.This field is normally edited manuallyI get the impression that these changes are related to the qualification task. I came across a discussion about the adjusted demand, which can change depending on certain parameters. I’ve checked my database and everything’s fine. Thanks for you help

Hello, We are receiving an error ‘All created Analysis must be confirmed or cancelled before the operation no 10 is closed’ when trying to approve an operation on the shop floor workbench in IFS Cloud 25R2. This was the confirmed analysis associated with the operation. Why would this error be happening? Thank you.  Thanks,Jay

Has anyone encountered the following error when creating an Invoice Preview from a Request Work Task that contains an alternate customer on one of the sales lines? My expectation is that the system should generate two invoice previews, one for each customer, using the corresponding delivery address ID for each invoice.Interestingly, when following the same process through a Work Order -Work Task, the system successfully creates two invoice previews without any errors for the same customers.Due to this error, when a Supplier Warranty exists and the supplier is added as an alternate customer, it becomes impossible to create the invoice preview. Is this a known bug, or could I be missing a configuration or setup step related to alternate customers and customer order addresses in the Request Work Task process? Thanks

Hello everyone,I would like to know what these two types of Quick Report in IFS Cloud correspond to : I believe they were present in IFS Applications 10... are they now deprecated?Thank you.

Hello,We are manufacturing continuously a mesh.To produce this I am using a wire (part set up with kg), from which I am cutting it into pieces and further welding those pieces together to obtain a final product.Current BOM:Wire [kg] → assigned to cutting operation   At this level we are providing at the custom field number of pieces that shall be cutted from the wire Current Routing:Cutting WeldingWe would like to display on the Shop Order Work Instruction Report an assignment of the materials to the operation so the operators know how many pieces of the wire go into the welding operation. So ideally:Cutting - display of wire  Welding - display of wire (but no consumption and no costs, as the same wire was already processed in the operation above). As currently wire is assigned to the cutting operation, I am not able to reassign the same wire at the operation of welding displaying the same information as at the cutting.I had tried to set up a separate material line using the same wire p

HiI We are currently testing the migration from pain.001.001.03 to pain.001.001.09 in IFS Applications 10 using the standard system-defined transformer: IFS_ISO20022_TO_CORE_09_ISO20022. During testing with Nordea we identified two questions regarding the generated XML.1. Regulatory ReportingIn the generated file we see the following mapping:<RgltryRptg> <DbtCdtRptgInd>DEBT</DbtCdtRptgInd> <Dtls> <Cd>14</Cd> <Inf>Message to Valutaregisteret</Inf> </Dtls></RgltryRptg> After reviewing the transformer, I can see:NATIONAL_BANK_CODE        RgltryRptg/Dtls/CdNATURE_OF_BUSINESS        RgltryRptg/Dtls/Inf However, I cannot find any mapping that generates:  <Tp>PURP</Tp>. Nordea has pointed out that the Type element (Tp) is missing:My questions are:Which IFS field should generate RgltryRptg/Dtls/Tp? Is there a standard setup required in IFS? Is this a known limitation in the standard transformer? Has anyone successfully gen

Hi,We have a use case according to followingCustomer order is released for a high volume of COL, for example 2000 products. The product is ETO but all has the same BOM revision. The COL’s are connected to project for financial and other reasons and qty for each line is 1. This results in 2000 COL and 2000 DOP Headers and the delivery time for the lines are spread over 12-24 month.  Challenge/Problem:The Customer Order is released and lines connected to project activities. MS Level 1 cannot be used to create supply for non-DOP parts. The DOP structure must be created for all DOP’s, if not created = no demand for non-DOP parts. Please confirm that this is correct, I might missed something:1. Unreleased CO is a demand and MRP create supply for non-DOP parts (Released for Mtrl Planning enabled)2. Released CO, DOP Header created, this is a demand but MRP doesn’t create supply for non-DOP Parts3. Released CO, DOP Header created and Top DOP Created, this is a demand but MRP doesn’t create supp
