Hello our wonderful IFS Community :)We’re running IFS Cloud 24R1, applying SU20 to a pilot instance for evaluation (going from SU9). We’ve encountered an issue when receiving goods off of a Shop Order, complaining that an Expiration Date is mandatory. I’ve limited things down to something that appears correct in the SU9 version of the API INVENTORY_PART_IN_STOCK_API and a variable check_mandatory_expire_date_ that is referenced in the Check_Insert__ / Check_Common__ procedures. Here’s a sample of the check_mandatory_expire_date_ being set (as opposed to the DEFAULT value for the parameter taking place. Anyone encounter an issue like this when going to SU20? Error message:ORA-20124: Error.NULLVALUE: Field [EXPIRATION_DATE] is mandatory for Inventory Part In Stock and requires a value.INVENTORY_PART_IN_STOCK_API package body snippet:-- Bug SCZ-27258, Start   check_mandatory_expire_date_   BOOLEAN := TRUE;   -- Bug SCZ-27258, EndMany thanks, and feel free to let me know if you’d like addit

Hi, IFS Cloud 25R2The company purchases components from the supplier in boxes. The warehouse also delivers the components to the production floor in boxes. However, the components are issued to the shop order in pieces. Ideally, each box should contain 100 pcs only. Please note that these items are very small in size but have significant value. We currently have a few scenarios that need to be addressed: Issuing to the Shop Order Components should be issued to the shop order in pieces. Returning Unconsumed Components At times, a full box of 100 pcs is not consumed. In such cases, the remaining pieces need to be returned to the warehouse. For example, if 80 pcs are consumed, the remaining 20 pcs should be returned to the warehouse. Shop Orders Requiring Only a Small Quantity For certain shop orders, only a small quantity, such as 10 pcs, may be required. However, we currently need to bring one full box from the warehouse to the production floor and then handle the remaining quantity

HiIs there a way to monitor user activity or inactivity in the Self-Service Portal and/or the assyst Agent Portal to better determine the appropriate session length in assyst, or to identify which users could have their sessions safely terminated? This is primarily a question regarding Self-Service, as the Self-Service Portal and Agent Portal share the same session length configuration. A business requirement for longer agent sessions on our end result in end-user licences being held for considerably longer than necessary, or so it is believed. Our current approach relies on tracking actions performed by agents or end users. However, this does not necessarily reflect actual user activity, as there are many legitimate use cases where a user remains active without generating tracked actions, such as browsing the portal or reading knowledge articles or filling a complex self-service form. Therefore, action-based monitoring may not accurately indicate whether a session is truly active or ina

If I change a Wage Code on a Day Type is there some routine to be run for this to be reflected in Employee Results prior to the date the change was made or is it only ever seen from the date the change was made forward … ?(and I appreciate how eye-roll-inducing that question is)… Thanks

Incorrect Visualization of Night Shift Time Registrations in IFS Cloud

Hello IFS Community.  Can anyone point me in the right direction on this error we have?  .’Arguments used to execute current operation are not allowed’  If the employee tries to book time to a project he gets the error.  If I, as a full IFS user book the same time to the project for the same employee i can do so..   The employee was able to book time ok, during week 1 but since then not.  I have check the project, resource group etc etc Thank you !

Hi all,Can anyone confirm whether custom fields configured as Single Select Lookup and linked to a System Lookup are not supported in Event Search / Event Monitor?I noticed that these fields do not appear as search criteria, even when they are configured as Public Shared Fields. Is this a general limitation for all Single Select custom fields that use a System Lookup, or does it depend on the specific System Lookup type? Thanks.

Hi , We are in the process of creating a checklist to allow our technicians to take photos before and after the intervention. We've developed two checklists, but for mobility, they aren't kept separate; we'd like them to be distinct for the technician. And another question: How can I rename it so it's more meaningful for the technician?

Look specifically at Fault Type, Cause and Performed Action. Not sure what settings makes these fields mandatory or not? Thanks

Bankgiro SEK payments in payment format ISO20022 CORE 001.001.009We are currently on IFS10 update 28. SEB requires a change in payment format from ISO20022 pain 001.001.003 to ISO20022 CORE 001.001.009 for outgoing payment files. It seems that we don’t have the full code installed in IFS for Bankgiro payments in SEK for this payment type. Has anybody else encountered the same problem? Did you need to develop and install in any transformer or was it solved by adding bank details differently under the actual supplier?

Hi Team, We are trying to restrict task allocation to a specific shift by marking a skill as “Not in use cost” to 100000, but tasks without that skill are still getting allocated to the resource. Is this standard functionality in IFS Cloud, or is there an alternative way to achieve this restriction? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.we have notice typically dependency tasks are getting allocated

Hi everyone,How do you manage equipment assigned to employees in IFS?We would like to keep a record of the equipment each employee has received. This could include everything from keys, workwear and personal protective equipment to work tools such as computers and phones. It would also be very useful to include software access rights. This would make it easier to ensure that all equipment is returned and access to all systems is revoked when an employee leaves. It would also help us generate statistics—for example, how many employees have a computer that is five years old or older. How have you set this up? Any suggestions or experiences would be greatly appreciated.

Hi, we are currently consolidating our Part Catalogues within IFS Cloud implementation. Our manufacturing processes produce detailed (machined & surface treated) parts which can be sales parts or be part of larger assemblies made from said detailed parts. Per legacy process & customer documentation, the name/number of the part changes only when a detailed part (DET_01) becomes part of an assembly (ASB_01).  They are all defined as manufactured parts, while any other components (consumables and non-machined/non-treated components) are defined as purchased parts. For assemblies, we will have instances for MRP for both component as well as machined parts.Considering an example assembly:ASB_10 (Mnfg)DET_09 (Mnfg) COMP_01 (Purch) COMP_02 (Purch) COMP_03 (Purch) COMP_04 (Purch)Will it be helpful to apply multi-level tracking for such instances, so that planning for ASB_10 includes tracking of manufacturing of its detailed component DET_09 and all other (non-machined) components? Ho

Can we configure the PO to have a defined quantity tolerance for goods receipts, with a hard limit? For example, if we order 100 boxes and set a ±10% tolerance, the system should allow receipts between 90 and 110 boxes. However, it should automatically prevent the receipt if the quantity is below 90 or above 110.Is there a standard configuration or setting that can enforce this tolerance at the time of receipt?

Hello, it is possible to add/change some custom field in pop up window?I want change something in pop up window “C Add Tracked Structure Component by Barcode”, the local way is: Manufacturing → Shop Floor Reporting → Shop Floor Workbench

Hello Data Migration Wizards,I am trying to migrate several “child” serial objects. The ‘parent’ objects already exist. I am using FNDMIG migration jobs for this. This allows me to create the serial objects. However, the field “Belongs_To_Object aka (SUP_MCH_CODE)” always remains empty. As a result, I cannot create a parent-child relationship. If I enter the “Parent Object” manually, it works!  I understand that the field is only insertable, meaning it can't be updated. However, I can't insert new data or update it. I don't get an error message either. The field is simply left blank.I've tried various things, including entering the equipment sequence. Nothing has worked. So, how should I populate the field using a migration job? @Marcel.Ausan Thanks in advance.

Hi,I’m trying to create a Quicksight Report using Query Designer on a custom Entity. The query runs fine but when I try to generate the report I get a cryptic error.“Value cannot be null. (Parameter 'bytes')”I tried to remove my parameter and hardcoded a filter but I get the same result. Tried to correct some permissions but I get the same thing with IFS_ALL.IFS Version: 25R2Am I missing something? The report is extremly basic, just trying to print some data. Report Layout (WoNo & TaskSeq are from JtTask, CF:s are from custom entity)Here is the filter from the query:I also have a basic join, but I tried without it and still get the same error.

Hi all, We are planning to use project management in conjunction with NGSM (Request Task) for customer oriented engineering and installing service projects, in IFS Cloud 25R2 / 26R1.Resources are planning under project activities initially. Request Task is generated from activities and to be scheduled with PSO and executed with MWO.However, we found out that for resources initially planned under project activities, they don’t get carried over and reconciled against resources in the Request Task. And I cannot re-enter them in Request Task as that will become duplicated resource demand. It seems that for Work Order Task created from Project Activity, there is function to have this kind of resource carry over and reconciliation between Project Activity and WO TaskBut not for Request Task.We still want to use NGSM since it is the direction IFS is heading toward for service management. Would like to hear from anyone who have experience in resource planning across Project Activity and executi

Hi Experts,I have 3 queries, could some one help at the earliest:Resource Cost calculation in PSO. Any specific document or formula is there which tell me the resource cost. How the resource cost can be viewed in PSO. Base value we can see but where we can find the Cost. Last one, if my activity is of 2 hrs which is completing in the normal shift (8:00 AM - 4:30 PM). If the travel back to home is 30 mins from the last task and is in the Over Time (4:30 PM - 8:30 PM) does PSO calculate the travel cost for return with respect to Cost/Hr or Cost/Hr(OT) ?Your timely response is much more appreciated. Regards,

Hi Community. We are trying to change the acquisition account on an Active Fixed Asset by using the “Move Object” function. However, it does not succeed and the account will just go back to the original account. Can anybody help?

Hi folks I am having some fun with MRO - we’ve got a maintenance order working, and work tasks created, but there is lots and lots of mention on IFS help about the handover then to an MRO disassembly shop order. It’s not possible to create an MRO disassembly shop order manually and the customer is responsible for breaking down, repairing and reassembling parts so it looks ideal. Does anyone have notes on how to actually do this, as I can’t find anything?

We have a setup with a finished parent part with by-product. The by-product is unknown, so as far as the usage per parent part it is kept at .01.To keep it simple, assume the product structure has two components and two operations. The main component is linked to the first operation, as far as the product structure. The second component linked to the second operation. What we have observed is when a finished part is scrapped, the “cost qty per assembly” is modified.  Basically, what ends up being calculated in that field equals scrapped quantity/lot size. If the lot size of the shop order is 4, and the scrap is 3, that field is updated to .75. Transactions from finished part scrap are then calculated accordingly. If the value would normally be 100, they are calculated at 75.This does not seem to be the case if the by-product is setup as a co-product. Nor does it seem to be the case if the components of the shop order are not linked to an operation. We are trying to understand why this is

Hi everyone, We are producing and selling large configurable parts. Depending to the configuration of the product, the Customs Statistic No is not everytime the same. We didn’t found any way to set up this correctly (the Customs Statistic No is fixed for a defined invetory part, on a specific site). Did anyone faced this kind of issue already ? Do you have any advice to deal with this kind of problem ?

Hello,We are  using in the company Call Center module to record customer claims. We need to be able to connect to the claims invoices and invoice corrections. We are struggling with with this as although it is possible to select business object “invoice” on the case basic data setup:I am not able to select it still from the list on the case:If I try to set up “Attach LOV Order” system is popping out an error telling the opposite (it is not possible):  How to connect invoice and invoice corrections with a real object in the system to cases?Thank you so much in advance for sharing any insights. Best regards,Kasia
