We are currently using IEE in Apps 10, what is the BEST approach for the next upgrade?Go to Aurena in Apps 10, before the next upgrade?  or do Aurena during the next upgrade?If we do it in Apps10, what will we save in terms of percentage of rework. Also, is there any downside in implementing Aurena in Apps10? For eg: we will lose functionality etc.

In Report Studio there are five Dynamic Images functions.  Image, Logo, and Signature all work without issue.  I have not been able to get DBImage and Media to work.  Has anybody successfully used these two functions in Report Studio? (I know there are workarounds, I’m specifically asking about the functionality in Report Studio) To test, I put a single image in the Media Item.Following the syntax in the Tech Docs, I have tried the following:Media(‘RKS’), Media(‘1000’), Media(1000) → none display the picture in the report output.DBImage('MEDIA_ITEM','MEDIA_OBJECT','ITEM_ID=1000') , same in lowercase, same with appowner in front of the view name. → none display the picture in the report output.

Hi  In-Place-Editor not visible on double clicking on text-oriented controls on Report Studio Report design (rich text, text combo, Label). I am on 25.2.3 with Framework service update 25.2.5 

Hi,I used workflow to call this as the screenshot, it worked in Application service update: 25.1.5 . But it doesn’t  work now in Application service update: 25.1.8It shows error like this, ignore “New Porducts” please, it is just my custom entity. I run it after inserting a row to the entity.

Hi,We have just installed the latest SU9 service pack for IFS Cloud 25R1. This service pack introduces functionality to support the new JPK‑V7M3 structure. However, I have not been able to find support for the replacement tags (BFK, DI, and OFF) within this structure, which are required when an invoice does not have a KSeF number.Am I missing something, or is this functionality not yet supported? If so, this would mean that the current structure is not fully compliant with the legal requirements.

We are currently setup in IFS10 and upgrading to IFSCloud and using Cybersource for the Credit Card Interface. Cybersource is deprecating the SOAP Toolkit and will require it to use P12. I am wondering if anyone has been able to update the routing rule and address using their current transformers or if I will need to submit an IFS Service ticket to have them make updates. It looks like I will have to use the Simple Order API or REST process.

We have been using the Detail Statistics pages in IFS Cloud 24R2 to report Invoiced Sales, Order Entry, etc, it’s a differential update report, so if there are no changes, it doesn’t update the lines. Someone in the organization has updated the name of a large customer, and so now, we have two customer names associated with the customer number in the Detail Statistics.I’m wondering how we could force it to update the lines. I’m guessing with a deletion migration job? BUt I wondered if there was a less scorched earth approach.

I’m experiencing an issue with Mobile Work Order (MWO) when a Workflow Configuration is applied with Configuration Type = “Configured Work Task”.In Actions Flow I configured the following sequence:Accept On Route Waiting at Location Start Work …On the mobile app, the user can perform Accept and On Route, but when reaching step #3, the action/state “Waiting at Location” is not available in the list of Task actions.As a result, the Task becomes blocked and the user cannot proceed to subsequent actions (e.g., Start Work) defined in the workflow. Additionally, the “Incomplete” is also not available among the Work Task statuses/actions when a workflow configuration is applied, which would mean that a assignment could not be concluded as Incomplete under this configuration.Both statuses are correctly enabled in the Workflow Actions tab.  Checking the Cloud configuration under:Solution Manager → Mobile Apps → Configuration → Apps for Page Designer → Maintenance Engineer → My Work → Work Detai

Handling of Advance Payments for Sales and Subcontracts are not handled by IFS in the respective modules themselves. Always I had used a workaround solution such as Mix Payments to handle advance payments. Clients expect that to be an embedded feature like Retention in Sales & Subcontracts. Could anyone propose a solution here plz?

Hi IFS Community,with the 25R1 release, the Selection Rules functionality was extended (e.g. rule types and weighting), which is a very welcome improvement. However, the current solution leaves some gaps and we are unclear if these are supposed to be filled in future releases.Our Use Case We use Selection Rules to distribute Service Requests into the correct delivery units. For our setup, Region and Model criteria are essential. The Service criteria, however, is largely irrelevant, as the organizational structure is the same for most services.Current LimitationAt the moment, the Service criteria is mandatory, which forces us to duplicate the entire Selection Rule set for each service (≈ 50 services) leading to a huge data volume in the table and the maintenance effort coming with it.Observation in the UI / Page DesignerIn both the UI and the Page Designer, it appears that:Criteria might be configurable as mandatory vs. optional Criteria might support individual weightingThese settings

When I use the milestone/staged payment, my invoices doesn’t shows up in “Invoiced Purchase Orders”. My order P8933 is using Milestones and these lines are matched with the supplier invoices. As seen below lines are in state “Invoiced”:But when looking in “Invoiced Purchase Orders”, this order will not show up. Only orders which I have matched using a receipt/arrival are there. The PO is received and closed. Am I doing something wrong? 

Hello Community, In Project Navigator, Planned Revenue field sums up all Customer Orders connected to the respective activity. Same applies even for connected customer orders that are is cancelled or invoiced and credited. Is there any way to reduce the amount of planned revenue, apart from the extreme way of running the Customer Order cleanup, which will clean all the customer orders for a site before a given date? Thanks in advance,Lauri 

 Hi,I was wondering whether we can merge CRM accounts (Category = Customer) if they are not connected to any objects or do not have any transactions in the system.One of our customers using IFS Cloud has integrated IFS with an external POS system. They import CRM accounts from POS system and save these as customers (category = customer). The CRM account is labelled as duplicate, but we cannot see the “Merge Account” command on the header to merge the duplicate with the original account.I understand that merge account work ok for prospects but couldn’t find a document explaining any limitations or why it’s not supposed to work for new CRM accounts when the category is customer. Is this the intended behaviour for CRM accounts of type “Customer”, even if duplicate records don’t connect with any objects or do not have transactions previously recorded in the system? I would like to see how other customers handle duplicate checks and merge CRM accounts when they import accounts directly from

We defined a Calendar for Service techs based on Work Day Type from 8 to 12 and from 13 to 17. In case a service technician on an Assignment “Start Work” out of those period of time is there a constraint or not? I ask the question because back in time I experienced a constraint not to be able to “Start Work”

Hello,I am facing an issue in IFS App 10 while trying to import a forecast via EDI/MHS.The issue is that, for different parts with exactly the same configuration, the import works correctly for some of them, but for others, only the last line of the XML file (which contains multiple quantities and dates) is imported.Thank you in advance for any help.

Our Client has a requirement that they would like the orders to be allocated by PSO before the shift start and afterwards PSO should not allocate any other order for the current Day. They have a process for handling emergency orders manually during the Day. We have used Time Before Shift Start to 2 hours so that the orders start getting committed 2 hours before shift start and Max commited activities to 50(Due to activity durations this is the max possible orders that the tech can work on)However in scenarios where there is not enough work at the start of the shift,PSO ends up committing new orders to tech when any new orders come to the system.Do we have any way to stop this so that no new order are commited. Any help would be highly appreciated    

Hi Community,It is noted that, from IFS in any page, there are POST calls being sent to www.fullstory.com.This has been seen in different customer environments where no customizations present. Even in our internal Core enviroronment (25R1) has sending these requests as well. Payload seems to be encrypted, however, sending any data to a 3rd party is concerning. Does anyone know what this is and why this is happening?  Appreciate any input. Thank you./Nimesh

We are currently supporting a customer who is considering the use of the SaaS version of IFS Cloud Services.As part of their requirements, they would like to send emails from scheduled tasks and other background processes.In this context, we would like to confirm whether an SMTP server is provided as part of IFS Cloud Services, either as a standard feature or as an optional service.If SMTP services are not provided by IFS, we would appreciate it if you could share how others have addressed this requirement.Thank you in advance for your support.

Every time I tried and click to open an entity within the IFS core files nothing happens and I get this silent error. I’m on Developer studio version 25.2.1048 and core file is 25.2.3  

Hi,I suspect the issue may be related to the view/query I am using. I created a new Lobby Datasource, saved it successfully, and was able to preview output. However, when I try to add it to an element/dashboard, the datasource does not exist.When I go back and check, the datasource is completely gone. The SQL counter also returns to its previous value (it increases when I create it, then drops back after it disappears).I also checked permissions, and the datasource does not appear under Lobby Datasources there either. Additionally, if I try to export the newly created Lobby Datasource after saving it, I receive the attached error.Has anyone seen this behavior before, or is there a known limitation related to the type of view/query being used?

Hi, I am looking for some IFS generated reporting that gives details on calculations by part and/or route variances from the part standards.  For us, these book in the MUV account(s) based on our posting controls, but the shop order cost detail reports do not give a breakdown of the calculations behind the MUV postings.  For example, when you look at the GL activity for a shop order, you will see a posting for MUV ($500); however, there is no reporting I find that breaks that posting down by part (standard recipe vs. the actual issued parts on the shop order).  I can recreate the calculation using an excel model; however, I am looking for some reporting that gives me multiple shop orders data over a given time period.Does anyone have something they leverage from IFS for these details?Thanks
