Upgrades & Updates

Hi, We are in IFS Cloud 22.2.8. What is the approximate time required to perform an upgrade and get our dev environment on the latest version of cloud? Thanks

I have a upgraded Maintenance Purchase Order Requisition from apps 9 to cloud. In the Part Requisition Lines, when I try to create a Requisition to Order on one of the lines I get an error that the Maint_Material_Order_No is mandatory for Jt Task Mat Line Pegging and requires a value.  Does anyone know why this error pops up when trying to process the Requisition to Order.

what is table name for below RESOURCE screen

In the schedule report, it is only possible to select an exact date on the parameter : END MONTHFor example, it is not possible to use the value  :#END_OT_THIS_MONTH#, this value is not recognized. See screnshot attached. It is strange because this value works in IFS Business reporter. Product Version: 23.1.0when you try to schedule or to order a report with date parameter and with context variable substituion.*IFS Cloud considers #END_OF_THIS_MONTH# or #START_OF_THIS_MONTH# patterns as a not valid date, so assistant is underline the field with a red line meaning that it is not a valid date. we can continue by clicking Next but Date is not added. when selecting the exact date from the calendar in Log date its workingTest steps to recreate this issue.1 - Click on "Order Report" link in the navigator2 - In the list of available report, select ReportId = HISTORY_LOG_REP3 - Select report HISTORY_LOG_REP in the list and click on "Order Report" command, assistant is opening4 - In "Module" fie

After UPD 17-20 applied Custom Menus using Quick Reports giving this error:I tried the System Parameters fix suggested and it fixed other issues we were having with Quick Reports, but not this issue with the Custom Menu. When running the Quick Report by itself it runs and returns data, but when I use the custom field get error.Any suggestions on how to resolve??

Hi, I had some Backups of Quick Reports which had to be imported to our updated IFS Cloud Systemold IFS Version: 23 R1 Update 2new IFS Version 23 R1 Update 7 The import function gave a successfully response but the Quick Report isn’t available in System and also in the Database table. After a short Checking of the xml file we figured out, that there is a new xml structure  for the quick reports. Are there any converting tools available to geht the Quick Reports imported with the same Report ID? Kind Regards

I am currently experiencing the following when logging into our Cloud instance using any account other than IFSAPP.Error:Metadata not found.        Url: https ://XXXXXXX.cloudapp.net/main/ifsapplications/projection/v1/RemoteAssistanceHandling.svc/IsUserActive(FndUserId='USERID')         Date = 2022-11-03T12:18:17.445Z        Request Id = fbfbf77c-1b7f-46e7-ba9d-bbfd21081cb5        Client version = 22.1.5.20220804125354.0 Once the error is dismissed the system seems to run fine. TIA for any help on this.

Good morning! Does anybody know if there is a way to pin this menu and have it always visible, not only when I access if from the bottom button? Thank you!

1.  Download the “Getting Started with the IFS Enhancement Index Tool” zip file you need, which is attached to this topic.2.  Unzip the files to a directory like “IFS Apps Enhancement Index”.  Once you have extracted it to a directory you should see a file named “Getting Started with the IFS Enhancement Index Tool”.3. Open the file and follow the directions in the Getting Started document.

Hello, I was wondering what the latest patches are for Oracle/IFS These are our current environment patches.  What is the latest Delivery?  What critical patches are required? Can we stay on UDP 14/Delivery 2017? Or should we go ahead and update. Trying to figure out which latest patches are required. Thank you for your help!

After installing UPD18, all .trs files are available in both the installation files and the IEE application, but lobby translations have stopped working while other translations remain functional. Have you or anyone you know experienced a similar issue? If so, what steps were taken to resolve the problem?

We are working in Cloud 23.1.3 and developing our Business Opportunity work process. Are there any best practice recommendations against renaming the tabs such as changing the tab from Sales Process to Quote/Sales Process?  We have made the change and done some testing without any issues discovered so far.  Is there anything that would discourage us from making this change?  Is it something that could cause problems with updates?

Hello IFS Community,I'm a new IFS Developer with a background in DEVOPS/ITOPS, currently working on transitioning our system from IFSAPPS10 version 7 to IFS AURENA, and eventually to IFS CLOUD. Recognizing the complexity of this journey, my immediate concern is finding the most effective method for tracking changes in IFS.Our current challenge is the limited documentation of various IAL modifications, custom fields, triggers, etc., implemented to tailor the ERP system to our specific business needs. To address this, we've started exporting new changes as Application Packages. However, I'm looking for a more comprehensive solution.Additionally, we've used IFS Developer to create and deploy several Logical Units (LUs) that address industry-specific requirements, providing us with more control over certain aspects of the code. We have previously received updates in the form of deliveries that have significantly upgraded and enhanced our product. This leads to another question: Is it feasi
