Hello, I was wondering what the latest patches are for Oracle/IFS These are our current environment patches.  What is the latest Delivery?  What critical patches are required? Can we stay on UDP 14/Delivery 2017? Or should we go ahead and update. Trying to figure out which latest patches are required. Thank you for your help! 

After installing UPD18, all .trs files are available in both the installation files and the IEE application, but lobby translations have stopped working while other translations remain functional. Have you or anyone you know experienced a similar issue? If so, what steps were taken to resolve the problem?

How to update IFS Apps 10 from UPD 10 to UPD 21 Please provide the procedure. Thank You.

We are working in Cloud 23.1.3 and developing our Business Opportunity work process. Are there any best practice recommendations against renaming the tabs such as changing the tab from Sales Process to Quote/Sales Process?  We have made the change and done some testing without any issues discovered so far.  Is there anything that would discourage us from making this change?  Is it something that could cause problems with updates?

We’ve just deployed Apps 10 UPD20 to our TEST environment and the first thing we have noticed is that lobby tiles with ‘long’ names no longer show on two lines. They are truncated to 1 with ….at the end.We now have a number of tiles with the same name shown in IEE - and a fun job to rename them. Is there a setting that has become valid - or can anyone shed some light onto the IFS Developer Mindset? Thanks,Matt​​​​​​​

For 22R2, release notes came out late - on the day of the release. I’m unaware of any other major ERP waiting until launch day to inform their base what’s coming. Instead, both summary and comprehensive (yet trackable) detail is shared 30-60 days in advance. For 23R1, what can we expect around release notes - and when? The release is coming out later this year, so we’re now in the sweet spot to help us manage change in my experience.What I hope to avoid beyond (waiting until May 25) is having to go module announcement by announcement to gather the highlights. And then seeing bullet 15.7 on the release summary (under Procurement) referencing supplier hierarchies as something to consider when updating. Then have to go to the 23R1 help docs to learn about 3.4.7.1 Manage Supplier Hierarchy… Happy to share more of my past experiences and expectations via this thread or directly. Thank you,Russell

We have considered whether we can install IFS Apsps 9 middleware on a Server 2019. According to IFS documents this is not possible.Has anyone had any experience with this?Is anyone running IFS Apps 9 on a Server 2019? Thanks in advance

The debug console covers the horizontal scrollbar making you switch it on and off if need to side-scroll.  Change the page to allow horizontal scrolling with the debug console open. There should be a general subforum.  This applies to many ‘IFS Solutions’.

Good Morning,  We recently moved from Apps 10 Update 14 to 20 and have noticed a large speed change in our Lobbies.  We lobbies changed in one of these updates?  I cannot find it in any IFS documentation for updates. Thanks

Hopefully this is an easy question for someone because I’ve spent too much time trying to figure this out.We are working through updating from APPS10 IE to Aurena (we don’t do anything right away) and I’m having an issue with some lobby element navigation that works great in IE but not in Aurena.The below lobby element is dynamic, so it’s populated based on the Lobby #1 Page Parameter called MACHINE_NAME. In IE I click on any one of the manager names and it opens Lobby #2 and that manager name is now in the Page Parameter (MACHINE_NAME) field and all the elements filter the data based on the manager name. Here is what I have setup in the IE element designer. It shows the mapping for IE (works great) and also the Web URL for Aurena. I’ve looked through all the documentation referenced in many other posts, and either I’m really confused on how to make this work, or it’s just not working. NOTE: the ?????? were added by me because nothing worked.Regardless of how I format what comes after

Hello anyone who would answer this question. Has anyone had a successful deployment of IFS cloud? We are unable to get statements out, database errors, printing issues, outside outside-hosted services. Nothing works out of the box and this is a miserable platform.

Upgrade IFS application from APP9 to IFSCloud 23R1. What is the recommended process? 

Hi,We upgraded from IFS10 Update15 to Update16 and it is now running slower in IEE of IFS.For example:- It takes about 5 minutes to display the version information from the menu bar help.- It takes about 4 minutes to display any screen.- Searching the navigator menu takes about 5 minutes.Has anyone experienced slowdowns in IEE with Update 16?Does anyone know of a workaround to improve this IEE slowdown?In this situation, we cannot offer our customers to upgrade to IFS10 Update16.*Aurena runs fine.We look forward to hearing from you.

Hi,The Work Task Summary is no longer visible in the Report in Work Order in the Cloud.  Will this be showring in in a future release?  We are currently using R23.1.3. Thanks,Jo
