Following the upgrade of our IFS Cloud TEST environment to version 26.1.x, the following Oracle package bodies in the IFSAPP schema remain invalid:
-
ORDER_SERVICE_END_CUSTOMER_SVC -
SERVICE_REQUEST_SVC
The invalid objects were first reported during the deployment on 21 August 2026 (ORA-20105: Database.NEW_INVALIDS) and remain invalid after the upgrade to IFS Cloud 26.1.4 on 22 September 2026.
Technical findings
We have identified a change in the signature of Psc_Contr_Product_API.Get_Description between IFS Cloud 25.2.4 and 26.1.2.
IFS Cloud 25.2.4 – two parameters:
Get_Description(contract_id_, line_no_)IFS Cloud 26.1.2 and later installation files – three parameters:
Get_Description(contract_id_, contract_rev_, line_no_)However, the SCBB source file OrderServiceEndCustomer.plsvc from the 25.2.4 installation package still contains calls using the old two-parameter signature at lines 242 and 332.
The same incompatible calls are present in the currently invalid Oracle package body ORDER_SERVICE_END_CUSTOMER_SVC.
Additionally, the invalid package body SERVICE_REQUEST_SVC contains a call to Psc_Contr_Product_API.Get_Description using only two parameters.
In the locally available installation packages for versions 26.1.2 and 26.1.3, we could not find updated versions of the affected SCBB service source files.
Has anyone had the same problems when upgrading?
best regards
