26R1 vs 26R2 vs 27R1

Dear IFS Community 

We are planning an upgrade during the first quarter of 2027 [before release of 27R1] from our current 25R1 SU8 track. As I see it, my options are:

A: Go with 26R2 SU 3 or 4 - the same plan with 25R1 SU3 gave us nightmares last year. There were quite a few untested bugs and later updating into SU8 helped

B: Go with 26R1 with a latest SU - this we thought might be more stable, however with a shorter end of support period. 

C: Postpone the update till later next year and get 27R1 with a latest SU - this might give us a tighter timeline with the current 25R1 support nearing the end

Anyone else currently in 25R1 track evaluating their options? Or on a later track that has a best practice to share?
