High Availability issues On-Prem with 24R1

I tried submitting a case with IFS on this but was advised to try here first. Please advise if anyone is able to help with what we are experiencing below. We are hosting ourselves on-prem and recently upgraded from IFS 9 to 24R1. TL;DRThe <server> cluster is in HA mode but it is not using the typical robust cluster state database software that we would expect in a production ready environment (using Etcd). In addition to that, each node refers to itself for the Kubernetes API instead of a load balanced IP address in the event a node goes down. This is symptomatic of a non-production/non-enterprise setup. Microk8s is best suited for small, single node implementations and/or local development. It does have addon features to provide HA and other production style features, however, those features are not very robust. This is how IFS chose to package their product, and they don’t appear to offer any other on-prem options. So, we appear to be stuck with it as is. As a reference for the

Missing Procedures in DeliverCustomerOrder.plsql After Upgrade to 25R1 – Any Replacements or Workarounds?

Hello Everyone,We’re currently in the process of upgrading from IFS Cloud 24R2 to 25R1, and we’ve encountered an issue related to our custom credit card interface.In version 24R2, we relied on the following procedures from DeliverCustomerOrder.plsql:Batch_Deliv_Pre_Ship_Del_Note Deliver_List_Inv_Lines___ Deliver_List_Non_Inv_Lines___However, we’ve noticed that these procedures have been removed in 25R1.We’re reaching out to ask:Were these procedures replaced with new ones or moved to a different location in the codebase? Has anyone else run into this issue during their upgrade? If so, did you find a workaround or alternative approach? What are your thoughts on us simply copying the previous versions of these procedures into our custom code to maintain functionality and avoid future impact, assuming no official replacements exist?We’d really appreciate any insights, experiences, or suggestions you can share.Thanking you in advance!

Dear allAs the IFS system administrator, I am reaching out to seek clarification regarding the possibility and requirements for upgrading our Oracle Database from version 19.10 to 19.27. Please provide guidance on the following points:1. Is a Seamless Upgrade from 19.10 to 19.27 Supported?We would like to confirm if it is possible to perform an in-place (seamless) upgrade of the Oracle Database from version 19.10 to 19.27 without causing disruptions to the IFS Applications environment, assuming both versions are within the certified Oracle 19c release family. Column Boarders - missing in 24R2

As upcoming iOS and Android OS upgrades compatibility of IFS Mobile apps

As upcoming iOS and Android OS upgrades are expected to be released soon, we need to ensure that all IFS-related mobile applications are fully tested and verified for compatibility with the new operating systems.(Specifically, Notify Me, Mwo Service Classic and Scan It.) We kindly request following points to be considered by IFS1. Release Update 24R2 - Service update during release update

Hi All, We have started release update 24R2 SU06. During the implementation process we got a instruction from our client to deploy with SU07 as there will be a critical security update into the 24R2 SU07.So, can we apply SU07 before completing the release update process and test it altogether? IFS Connect Server Not Staying Up After Server Reboot (ifsapp9 Environment)

Hi everyone,I'm currently facing an issue in the ifsapp9 environment where the IFS ConnectServer1 Windows service fails to stay running after a server reboot.When attempting to start the service manually via Windows Services, I receive the following message:---------------------------Services---------------------------The IFS ConnectServer1 IFSL (E:\IFS\IFSL) service on Local Computer started and then stopped. Avalara integration broke in Apps10 UPD26 need solution

Will entity APIs gradually phased out ?

Hello,I have just consulted the following IFS file, linked to the 25R1 version :25R1 Fixes for Customer Reported Issues.xlsxI found that for one of my cases “CS0332557” the release note is as follows: The CustomerOrderInvHeadEntity.svc and CustomerOrderInvItemEntity.svc entity services were previously unable to expose certain attributes such as Customer Address Name and Debit Invoice ID due to limitations in the overtaken base views. To ensure full attribute availability, customers are now advised to use the projection service CustomerOrderInvoiceHandling.svc, which exposes the relevant data through the CustomerOrderInvHeadSet projection. As part of ongoing improvements, the usage of the CustomerOrderInvHeadEntity.svc entity service is planned to be phased out in future releases. Until now, IFS teams have always recommended us to use Entity APIs rather than Handling APIs, and this comment seems to reverse the trend.FYI We've already encountered multiple “Entity” APIs that were unstable

Hello everyone,We've noticed some recent changes in the release communication format for the new 25 Release. Specifically: The posts no longer include a brief summary of the attached documents, which was very helpful in the past. The presentation format seems different and not as detailed or aligned with the previous structure. We are also missing the “IFS Cloud 25R1 - What's New in Cloud Platform and Tools” and “IFS Cloud 24R2 - What's New Summary” post, which were typically available. Additionally: There's no mention of the OAuth token timeout change to 3 minutes, which is important for integration purposes. If I'm not mistaken, 25R1 introduced the ability to cancel an already posted invoice, but I haven't found any official documentation on this feature yet. Could someone from ​@IFS RD Product Management , or anyone else ( ​@Patricia Baagø Ishøj ​@Bob Corrigan  ​@Nishantha Anuruddha ), please confirm where we can find the relevant documentation or updates?Thank you in advance

Unable to connect to the server: x509: certificate has expired or is not yet valid

Hello, Few days ago, we experienced a production down issue, which we've identified was caused by the internal ingress certificate expiry.However, when I checked around two months ago, the certificate was set to expire on 15th November 2025. Yet, today — 23rd May 2025 — it appears to have expired unexpectedly.There have been no recent deliveries or known changes to the production environment that could have influenced this.Could you please help clarify: What factors could cause a certificate to expire earlier than its visible expiry date? Is there any mechanism that might explain this? Are there any known issues or previous cases where the ingress controller or cert-manager mismanaged a certificate? What was the appropriate way re-done changes in release update branch for the changes we done during the release update process to UAT?

IFS Cloud Installer Issue

Our initial install for IFS cloud completed without error, but our URL is not reachable. When checking our Kubernetes pods I see that our application pod had this event….Warning  FailedMount  4m24s (x500 over 16h)  kubelet  MountVolume.SetUp failed for volume "secrets" : secret "ifsmtxapp-password" not found Has anyone had this type of error? Know how to fix it?

Credit Card Exp Year Error 24R2

Bookmarks disappearing for some users

We have IFS Cloud 24R1and we experience that some users loose the personal bookmarks. It also seems to happen several times for a few persons, while others are untouched. Does anyone else experience this and know why this happen and what is causing this?

Grant Lobby page to the LTU shop floor permission set

Hi all, We plan to create a lobby for LTU Shop Floor user’s to control their own time registration. We are currently using the 24R2 SU1 release of IFS Cloud. Does anybody knows if granting a lobby page on the LTU permission set is allowed without breaking the licence and if future release of this permission won’t break and / or lock this functionality ? Thanks for your replies,

Hi IFS Experts,As we known, IFS AI  or ML related features are only available in Cloud Deployment option (IFS Managed Cloud). We are IFS parnter and the customers would like to know1. with latest release, more and more new AI scenarios will be enabled. Is there any roadmap to enable AI/ML related functionalities in IFS Remote mode?2. Apart from AI, does IFS could provide a list to partners/customers to show clear differences between IFS Managed Cloud and on-Premise mode regarding IFS compoents, funtionalities and restrictions? Thanks!
