Business Reporter - The website’s security certificate is not secure.

Hi all, I try to log-on to Business Reporter, but I face strange error, which I have never met before: When I click “Refresh the page.” I get this error: I have installed this website’s certificate and this environmental works in browser correctly. I have also prepared IAM Client as it should: I have done this several times before for different environmental, and I have faced an errors when IAM Client or certificate is not defined correctly, but now I have done and defined them for this environmental at least twice.Certificate are stored on “Trusted Root Certification Authorities” -folder. I also stored them to different locations too, but did not make any difference. This environmental is working on 24R1 SU1.

Business Reporter Drill Down Not Navigating to IFS

Hello community,When trying to navigate to source from GL Balance Drill Down, it is trying to navigate to below path. I have read other posts on the community saying that BR system parameters must be set up with URL etc. However the parameter is removed from the page. Cannot login into IFS Business Reporter as a super user with basic authentication

Hi, When I'm trying to login into the Business Reporter using a super user username/password, it doesn't give any login error neither successfully load the reporter having closed the login dialog. When I choose the azure AD login option it says im already login. It seems something wrong with handling authentication code in the BR login dialog when even authentication happens successfully. Not loading after manually closing the login dialog too.Any workaround for this?This is IFS Cloud 24R1 Thanks!/Methshika

Excel Add-In don’t work on Jump server

When logged into the Windows 2019 Jump server with a user with administrator rights, encountered an issue while attempting to initiate the IFS Excel Add-in.Upon starting Microsoft Excel and clicking on the IFS Excel Add-in icon, the Add-in launches successfully.However, when attempting to log in, encountered the following error: Web browsers are up-to-date and not working for both edge and chrome,versions installed on this jump server,Also installed WebView2, Would appreciate your insights on what could be the root cause of this issue

Lobby Datasource Designer - Performance Issues 23R2

I have noticed a significant difference in the way Lobby Datasource page is loaded.Every refresh it retrieves all the available queries in the sudo-selector, and I usually end up waiting a full minutes before the page will respond. Has anyone else experienced this behavior?Is there any solution?

Business Reporter Login Error

Hello,We have an issue surrounding business reporter that is causing frustration in its users. After initial login in Excel, we are able to use BR as needed. However, if we get timed out and attempt to login again, we get the error below. The only workaround we’ve found involves closing all instances of Excel and reopening the business reporter. This is a pain when working on many reports, or when we just have many different documents open. Occasionally this doesn’t even fix the issue and we need to restart the entire computer. Is anyone else experiencing these issues with BR? Anyone have a fix for it? The public IP/FQDN should be internally resolved to the private IP of the SQL Server.

I am trying to setup my Analysis Models to populate to an on-premises server. The instructions are telling me :To achieve this scenario, where SQL Server needs to be accessed using the same IP address/FQDN both externally and internally, you can set up Split DNS or a Hosts file entry on the server running the SQL Server instance.I have tried to edit the host file by adding the external/public IP address as follows. Internal IP Exeternal IP or FRQN/Server Name 172.xx.xx.67 rs-IFS-biServer.domain.com 172.xx.xx.67 rs-IFS-biServer 172.xx.xx.67 170.xx.xx.245 Am I doing this right or do I have it backwards?

Question on loading data from IFS Cloud to existing Data Warehouse

A customer has custom data warehouse built in MS SQL server that they are using with multiple internal systems for reporting purposes. When using IFS Cloud they want to keep using the same data warehouse solution.What is the best way of loading data to their existing data warehouse from IFS Cloud at the database level?Is it possible to use Access Views for this purpose? if so are there any benefits of using access views for this rather than using Oracle views with direct DB connection?

Reporting and Data Warehouse

Afternoon,We are in the midst of upgrading to IFS Cloud 23R2 from Apps 10, and in parallel the business are reviewing our BI strategy. Currently we use IFS Lobbies, Quick Reports and Business Reporter within IFS, and externally use tools such as PowerBI and Qlik. All our reporting is based on the production IFS Oracle database through ODBC connections. We plan on using PowerBI as the primary tool for management reporting, whilst continuing to use Quick reports and Lobbies for operational reporting within IFS.We are therefore considering options for data warehouse solutions such as Microsoft Fabric and PowerBI. We are looking for information on what other IFS customer's are using for their BI strategy and data warehousing solution, along with some pros and cons. Thanks in advance

Report Designer - SQL query statement - NVL and subselect possible?

Hello,I would like to output a logo that is retrieved from the database via a select query and 2 parameters (company and language).Since it can happen that PNGs are not available for all combinations, I would like to output a standard logo for this case using the NVL function. The select statement works in PL/SQL-Developer.Unfortunately, no PDF is generated in the Report Designer Preview. Only the rendering cursor is displayed briefly, but nothing happens, no PDF, no error message.Is a nested select or the use of the NVL function not possible?Is there anything else to consider that I have overlooked?Or is there perhaps another way? are there best practices to create customs views to crystal reports layout

Hello,I am curently using IALs views with Quick reports in crystal. this works fine but when I try to use the IALs views in crystals layout in IFS these doesn’t work. I saw in a doc that sometimes it is better to create customs views in IFSAPP instead of IALs in IFSINFO (like IALs) so could you please give me an advice ?ThanksFrédéric
