Hi, According to the latest IFS GPL and 24R2 sales part list, there are only two Power BI-related sales parts available: Advanced Analytics - Self Managed Analysis Models - Self Managed I would appreciate more information about the latest sales parts related to IFS Analysis Models (24R2). Could you please provide answers to the following questions? What sales part(s) are needed to use IFS Analysis Models - Power BI with a self-hosted BI infrastructure setup? What sales part(s) are required for using IFS Analysis Models - Power BI (data lake Gen2) and IFS Advanced Analytics? Is it possible to purchase Advanced Analytics - Self Managed without purchasing Analysis Models - Self Managed? Does this mean that iFrame integration is always available and not dependent on any sales part? Can we assume that IFS Analysis Models – Tabular is no longer available for purchase? Thank you.

Hi, when using a standard dimension/fact item as a report parameter, relevant context substitution variables will be visible to choose as the default value. However, when a QIS is created based on an IAL, this is not possible. Here, the DIM_COMPANY dimensions was connected to the QIS from custom dimension connections oage. Is this a framework limitation? Hello, I'm trying to enable incremental refresh for FACT_GL_TRANSACTION, but I need to complete the initial refresh first. The dataset is quite large—refreshing accounting year (a full refresh using a criteria) 2024 alone takes around 15 hours. However, I'm unable to refresh the entire dataset. Once 2024 is fully refreshed the entity info says its no FRESH, attempting to refresh 2023 or any other year with entity criteria does not work. Any idea why?

Hello, We have an issue surrounding business reporter that is causing frustration in its users. After initial login in Excel, we are able to use BR as needed. However, if we get timed out and attempt to login again, we get the error below. The only workaround we’ve found involves closing all instances of Excel and reopening the business reporter. This is a pain when working on many reports, or when we just have many different documents open. Occasionally this doesn’t even fix the issue and we need to restart the entire computer. Is anyone else experiencing these issues with BR? Anyone have a fix for it? After upgrading Business reporter to 24R2 version. I am frequently facing an error “Error while calling the projection BrClientAuthorizationHandler”. when I log in for the first time, I am able to load and run the report. However, if I try to load or open another report, I get an error. To resolve this, I have to close all the instances and reopen it. I did not encounter this issue before the upgrade. I am using a user who as all the necessary grants. - BA_SUPER_USER- BA_ENDUSER- BA_DESIGNER - BA_REPORT_ADMIN Is there anything that needs to be refreshed or any additional steps after installation to fix this issue? Hi, We have come across an issue where if we ‘order’ the business reporter report in Excel it errors as it cant find/run the macro. But if we ‘load’ report, it loads up with the box at the top to enable macros. We click enable, then ‘run’ and the report works fine. We have always had issues with these reports running out of the IFS application, which is why we use IFS Business Reporter instead. Are you able to assist with this query please? Our company does have a policy where they don’t want users to use macros, but I’m not sure of another way around it so I’m looking for any options. thank you for your time!

I am trying to create a Quick Report that will show all inventory receipts from the previous day. Below is my current query. I want to add a WHERE clause so I will only see records where the ARRIVAL_DATE is yesterday. I have tried several different ways to accomplish this and have not been able to figure it out yet. Encountered an issue when running a scheduled quick report in IFS Cloud 24R1. When the report is sent as an email attachment in Excel format, it contains extra spaces around the cells (except for the header row). However, when I run the same report and export it directly from the quick report/output window, it appears correctly without these extra spaces. Example - Scheduled quick report mail attachment: Output from Quick report window: Could you please guide me w hat configuration settings should be adjusted to prevent the extra spaces in the scheduled reports Excel attachment? Is there a specific setting related to the export format that might be causing these spaces? Any other suggestions to resolve this issue? Thank you!

Hello, in the fact_customer_order_line_bi . I cannot see the correct amount if I have a credit that was made at the order level following an RMA. I can just see the amounts on the order line side and not on the invoiced line side and that creates an imbalance at the sales level. Exemple : Customer Order line Side : fact_customer_order_line_bi : in power bi fact_customer_order_line Customer invoiced Line side : The question : is there a way to resolve this issue and get the customer order line amount correctly

Afternoon, We are in the midst of upgrading to IFS Cloud 23R2 from Apps 10, and in parallel the business are reviewing our BI strategy. Currently we use IFS Lobbies, Quick Reports and Business Reporter within IFS, and externally use tools such as PowerBI and Qlik. All our reporting is based on the production IFS Oracle database through ODBC connections. We plan on using PowerBI as the primary tool for management reporting, whilst continuing to use Quick reports and Lobbies for operational reporting within IFS. We are therefore considering options for data warehouse solutions such as Microsoft Fabric and PowerBI. We are looking for information on what other IFS customer's are using for their BI strategy and data warehousing solution, along with some pros and cons. Thanks in advance

Hi everyone, I have a request from a customer who needs to adjust the date entry format in Quick Report parameters. This is a Crystal-based Quick Report, and they want to enter the date in dd-mm-yyyy format. However, when attached to Quick Report, it prompts for yyyy-mm-dd instead. The report itself is designed to read the date in the required dd-mm-yyyy format, but the Quick Report interface enforces a different format. Has anyone encountered this issue before? Is there a way to modify the date format for Quick Report parameters inside IFS Application? Any insights would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance.

Hi all, I try to log-on to Business Reporter, but I face strange error, which I have never met before: When I click “Refresh the page.” I get this error: I have installed this website’s certificate and this environmental works in browser correctly. I have also prepared IAM Client as it should: I have done this several times before for different environmental, and I have faced an errors when IAM Client or certificate is not defined correctly, but now I have done and defined them for this environmental at least twice.​​​​​​​ Certificate are stored on “Trusted Root Certification Authorities” -folder. I also stored them to different locations too, but did not make any difference. This environmental is working on 24R1 SU1.

I am struggling to find what information source that would contain project resource forecasts. It does not show up in the Project Tabular Model (https://docs.ifs.com/ifsclouddocs/24r1/). I also cannot seem to find a entry in the information sources. The only reference I can see in the data mart sources are PROJECT_FCST_CONN_RFC_MV and PROJECT_FCST_CONN_CCO_MV Is this something I would have to build with custom queries or am I missing something? Note, the application table I am referencing is PROJECT_RESOURCE_FCST_TAB, PROJECT_RESOURCE_FSCT_ITEM_TAB, PROJECT_RESOURCE_FSCT_ELEM_TAB I am just trying to find the appropriate data mart source that would contain data from the IFSAPP tables.

Hi , We crated Data load run definition for IFS_EMPLOYEE_ANALYSIS Tabular model and getting below error. SSIS LOG We noticed that the ID defined in the DIM is created with Company^Structure ID^Code^Valid To.But IFS oracle database can have multiple records for above combination and this caused the error in Data load run. Can we add parent_org_code into the below ID to make this a unique record? Hi, In Apps10, there was a possibility to add a custom menu to open a Business Reporter reports as below. When the action type ‘Report’ is selected, BR reports are also available to select. However, in IFS Cloud, when adding a command through page designer, BR reports are not listed under any of the report types. Is there any other way to fulfil the requirement of opening a BR report from IFS Cloud, via a button, link or by any other mean except through Order report? Best Regards,Nisansala
