Error when activating "Zoom In" - Business Reporter

Issue Reports created using "GL BALANCE" information source are unable to use "Zoom In" and/or "Drill down" feature. When IFS create a new report using "GL Balance" information source, it works fine on customer's end but when customer creates a new report using the same information source it doesn't work when trying to use "Zoom In" and/or "Drill down" feature.Only difference between the reports created by customer and IFS is the "Project" in the Document Actions is missing. In the "Dimensions" page, "DIM_PROJECT_CODE" is missing in the customer's environment. Environment RWGE-CLD-CFGProduct Version: 22.2.10 Cause Further investigations found that the reason for this error is Project component is not activated in customer's environment. add media or documents to pdf report

Hello,We are using IFS v10 and I want to add media or documents to the pdf report. When we want to print a report on the Work Order screen, it gives us the option to add the added media or document, but even though I add the document, I cannot see the added media in the pdf report it creates.Can you help me

Resource Forecast Information Source - Unable to Find

I am struggling to find what information source that would contain project resource forecasts. It does not show up in the Project Tabular Model (https://docs.ifs.com/ifsclouddocs/24r1/). I also cannot seem to find a entry in the information sources. The only reference I can see in the data mart sources are PROJECT_FCST_CONN_RFC_MV and PROJECT_FCST_CONN_CCO_MV Is this something I would have to build with custom queries or am I missing something? Note, the application table I am referencing is PROJECT_RESOURCE_FCST_TAB, PROJECT_RESOURCE_FSCT_ITEM_TAB, PROJECT_RESOURCE_FSCT_ELEM_TAB I am just trying to find the appropriate data mart source that would contain data from the IFSAPP tables.

Tabular Model Deployment Error

Hello,I am running a tabular model deployment for one of our customers and i get below error, i think the issue is due to the fact that they have multiple instances in their SQL Server and the Environment Parameters are set up like below,SQL_SERVER_NAME 12.1.2.12\IFSPRODBIand it finds the backslash as an escape character. Is there a workaround for this? Does IFS support multiple SQL Instances setup like above?

"Maximum number of rows to retrieve during statement execution" has been reached.

HI IFS Community,Could you help me with the following problem?I created a BR report with one Design Row. When I run the report, I get an error message: "Maximum number of rows to retrieve during statement execution" has been reached. The parameter "Maximum number of rows to retrieve during statement execution" is set to 65,000.The report fetches data from a Quick Information Source, which contains much more than 65,000 records. To solve this problem, I split the records in the Quick Information Source into two sets. For one set, the DESIGN_ROW_NO column has a value of 1, and for the other set, it has a value of 2. Each set of records contains fewer than 65,000 records.In the report, instead of one Design Row, I created two Design Rows. One shows records that meet the condition DESIGN_ROW_NO = 1, and the other shows records that meet the condition DESIGN_ROW_NO = 2. But when I run the report, I still get the error message: "Maximum number of rows to retrieve during statement execution"

Query returning list of IFS Cloud users and their group

Dear community I am trying to use the Query Designer in IFS Cloud to create a list of Users and the Group they belong to, and this to facilitate our user management process.We are using IFS Cloud 23R2 and this screenshots shows the fields I want to output to the list: User Identity, eMail and GroupI’m struggling to define this query using the Query Designer. List of values on business reported reports

Info Services / type Business Reporter / Context Substitution Variables

A published BR report in IFS Cloud 23R1 contains 2 parameters for Date_From and Date_To. These are defaulted to #START_OF_LAST_WEEK# and #START_OF_THIS_WEEK#. Executing the report in the BR client this works as expected - the date range is rendered as expected. However, ordering the published report through Info Services, these default values does not show - and are not allowed. Similarly result for Global BR Parameters. Is this how it is supposed to work in core ?I.e. that Context Substitution Variables are not available / implemented for reports of type BR reports ordered / scheduled via Info Services.

How to change IFS Applications 10 filter setting for quick reports?

Hi, everybodyI want to select the MUSTERI_ADI filter as on the customer screen.While the Department_Id filter works as I want, MUSTERI_ADI filter does not work as I want.Department screen is basic data, maybe that's why the screen appears like that on the filter.

Multi Value Parameter Limit?

HelloI am adding a Standard Parameter with the ability to input multiple values into a BR report. I can run the report when I input 9 values as shown below, but when I input a 10th value the report will not run - I get the dreaded ‘Microsoft Excel is waiting for another application to complete and OLE action’ message. This seems odd - any input on whether there is some kind of a limit to multiple values in a parameter?

Custom PL/SQL Function in IAL

I created a custom function within PL/SQL to calculate the number of business days between two dates, based on a particular IFS calendar. I’d like to use this in an IAL Object, but I’m getting an error that it is not-defined. How do I appropriately define it so the IAL Object will deploy without error? We are on IE 10.

Settings for Power BI Embedded lobby

Hello,We have created an embedded work space for Power BI and can by some settings find reports available in the element designer phase.But if we want to find the details for a report we have no permissions.What settings or Permissions is required to acces the Element Designer for Power BI-elements?We have tried all the permission sets in IFS and the user also has access to the report in Power BI service.Does anyone have a guideline for this or know what’s missing?

BR report data handling capacity and writeback possibility

BR Experts,Could someone with Business Reporter (BR) knowledge, enlighten us whether this amount of data load and writeback option will be possible in IFS Cloud?We have a BR report created to capture IFS project forecasts and Overheads (OH), save it to the BR report template and then use the write back option to writeback values to the Business Plan module in IFS.The report is being run for a particular Company, for one Planning Unit (Code part for the Location - NSW, VIC etc.) and to check All the projects that are available. Our question is to check whether the below amount of data could be handled within the BR report.There are around 10 tabs in the Report. Out of which 2 tabs are most significant and handle large number of data.Tab 1 – For Completed and Current ProjectsCompany 01Planning Unit NSWNo of Projects max approx. 100Each project is repeating 18 rows. There is a requirement to write back 12 rows in each project.T

Power Bi Infomation sources

Hello community,In Power BI in the cube IFS_Sales I cannot see the fields Coordinator and Parallel Currency, those fields are in the dimensions Campaign and Company of FACT_CUSTOMER_ORDER_LINES and FACT_CUSTOMER_ORDER_CHARGE (Information sources)So why can not see them in Power BI? but for e.g in Business reporter I can. Consume Information Source/Access View via REST API

There is any option how to consume Information Source/Access View via REST API?I know that Information Source can be used in IFS Business Reporter and Access View I can read from database via IFSINFO user.But there is any other option? I mean eg. wrap Access View to Projection Configuration? I tried it but Access View cannot be used in Projection Configuration.Is any chance how to publish Information Source/Access View via REST API only by tailoring, without programming standard customization?Thanks. Context Substitution Variables with QIS in BR reports

Hi All, I’m trying to create a Business reporter report by using a quick information source that fetches values from an IAL. And I want to take the user details who ordered the report to the report designer. But when I trying to take it using a context substitution variable it gives the below error. BR client version is 5.0.23 of Apps10. If anyone of you know how to use context substitution variables with quick information sources please let me know.

Reports not available in Document footer

Hello Community I have seen that It's not uncommon some reports are missing in Document Footer.The idea has been raised to give the customers the ability to connect every report in the document footer screen in IFS. in the meantime, is there a way of configuring the footer of a report without having to customise the report with report designer or another tool? And i want also to know why for some reports the standard ifs logo continues to appear even though we did this configuration t stup multi company for all reports :Upload your images to the “Report Images” page in AurenaCopy the exact “Image Name” from the fieldPaste the Image Name into the “Document Logotype” on the company It works for all our reports except for a few like SHPMNT_CONSOLID_PICK_LIST_REP. Which always keeps the ifs logo in the report.Is this something that can be modified by changing parameters on Aurena or do you have to use tools like report designer and edit the report? Thank you in advance for your help

The report is not populated in Aurena

I have created a quick report (SQL statement) in APP10 and the report is successfully populated when trying to view using IEE.The report is seen in the ‘Order Report’ window but when I try to view the report, it is not populated and shows ‘No Data’. The issue remains the same even if I log in as IFSAPP to Aurena.Could someone please advice if any security grants should be done in order to see the records in Aurena please?
