Insights (Business Reporter and Analysis Models, EOI)

Dear All,I can see the background jobs screen in Aurena but if I want to see the detail of a job by selecting it, I am not getting that option. Check attached screenshot. I want to know how can I go to the show details of the job in Aurena.  Thanks in advance! BR,HA

We have a few reports that have recently been crashing displaying OLE error.   After going through each Server Set Id.After recreating the Server Set within a new report to test it.   I found that if I had 12 or less Measure Item columns no error was received and data was output.  Out of the 19 DIM_REPORTING_ENTITY.CODE columns that we had it doesn’t matter which 12 DIM_REPORTING_ENTITY.CODE items used, so long as only 12 columns were used then no error, if 13 or more then report crashes with OLE error. Has anybody come across this, if so, what is the cause? Thanking you.

Hi, I am trying to create a quick report. I want to show the total amount of a purchase order including possible charges on that order, preferably in one column. There is a column ‘Total Gross incl Chrg/Curr’ but this is including tax. I want to show the amount excluding tax. Is there a way to make this happen? Kind regards,Simon

What do you need into account when MS SQL Server is in Azure? Have we got a list of which PowerBI example dashboards are included in IFS Analysis Model? Have we got a description of the facts and dimensions included in each OLAP cube?

Hi, I have an issue with Business Reporter and data. I created a report which shows the Purchase Order Lines per week. But I only want to show the data from Purchase Orders with status not Planned or Cancelled. I tried to show only the data from Purchase Orders which were autorized, but I was not able to do so because that data is not present in the Information Source. Is there any way to do this?The Information Source which I use is ‘Purchase Order Lines’. We are on APPS10 update 7.  Kind regards,Simon

Had a user run the customer Order cleanup but selected a little too much and from too recent. I wanted to get verification that there wasn’t an easy Undo button for this. Found out this job completed without errors so other than a database restore nothing can undo.

IFSAPPS 9.We have been using a Business Analytics model to run our sales forecast. This was using Business Opportunities as the Information Source.One of the filter criteria was DIM_OPP_PROBABILITY.CODE BETWEEN 50 and 100. This basically captured any high probability Business Opportunities. After we installed UP17 our Business Analytics model stopped working. I believe the issue was that prior to UP17, the field on the Information source was the value in the PROBABILITY_DB field and it has now changed to be just the PROBABILITY field. The issue is that the PROBABILITY field is suffixed by a % sign, so when we use this field in the filter I receive an ‘Invalid Number’ error message. However I have not been able to use SQL in the Filter Criteria to either TRIM or REPLACE the % value out.Is there a way to point the Information Source back to the PROBABILITY_DB field? 

Hallo community,ACTUAL scenario: The user is informed about changes by e-mail. The mail contains a generated link to the relevant IFS mask, which calls up this IFS mask when pressed. This works because it is the standard behaviour for IFS masks (ifsapf:frm ...).TARGET scenario: Now this should also be implemented for the jump from the mail to a lobby. I.e. the user receives a generated link in mail to the lobby, which calls up the respective lobby when pressed. Only in the case of Lobby (ifswin:Ifs.Fnd.CompositePageRenderer.Page...) does it NOT seem to be the default behaviour.How can i do this? Any ideas?Thx for support

Hello, I have been trying to find a way to view all raw material that is used at a given work center. Ideally, I have reviewed material usage, component where used, but there does not appear to be a way to search by Work Center. I am hoping that there is an area within the system where this data can be viewed. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Hello, I’ve created an element for purchase requisition lines awaiting approval and it displays the lines correctly the user needs to authorize.  In Aurena I have it working where you can click on the line and open the purchase requisition screen but I’m running into difficulty with clicking on one of the lines and opening the IEE Purchase Requisition screen so they can look at the entire requisition.  Any guidance would be appreciated. Reqards,William Klotz

Hi,I created a lobby element which shows the balance of the bank accounts. I want to display the balance with a euro sign as prefix. Is this possible, and when so, how can I do this?I know how to do it with a counter element, but I am not able to do so when using the element below.  

Hi could someone help me please, I have created a new operation report in crystal using purchase_order_print_rep as the main data source for our purchase order and I am trying to add the note_text field from the purchase_order. when i run in on crystal i can see the note_text field, however when i run it on IFS the note_text field come back with no data. Is there work around for this by any chance

Hi @ADNAN I have two questions about the Drill Down function. Is it possible to have two drill down functions on the same element? For example, if you press the Picklist_No. that the Picklist Report and a view of the Shop Order table opens at the same time?My second question has to do with the same topic. Is it possible to open a picklist report with the drill down function? I try different options, but I don't get the desired result.ThanksAchilles0129 

Hello AllLobby help again needed please. I’ve got a date field in the data and in the element I’d like to highlight dates that are passed today’s date. The system doesn’t like me putting in ‘TODAY’ as the value but it works when I add today’s actual date - any ideas on how to get this to work?Working when I added a dateNot working when I add ‘TODAY’ 

This regards the IFS Business Reporter add-in for Excel, specifically Excel in Office 2016, 64-bit. There is one specific BR report we run which I’m having these difficulties with, doesn’t seem to occur with any other report and, strangely enough, running this same report works when done on different computers. The error we’re having occurs when trying to “Run Report” once IFS is loaded. We pick the standard parameter values, press OK, then in the Report Execution Progress window, it seems to go through everything (goes through steps 1 - 3 , fetches data) then it crashes Excel, Excel restarts, and it opens to a blank worksheet. I’ve checked the event logs and found the following pop-up at about the same time it crashes, so this should correlate: Event Log Error #1Event Log Error #2I’ve tried many things, like running .net repairs and running as admin. I’ve officially run out of ideas, so I’ve come here, hoping I can be pointed in the right direction if not have the problem solved entir
