Hi all,

I try to log-on to Business Reporter, but I face strange error, which I have never met before:

When I click “Refresh the page.” I get this error:

I have installed this website’s certificate and this environmental works in browser correctly. I have also prepared IAM Client as it should:

I have done this several times before for different environmental, and I have faced an errors when IAM Client or certificate is not defined correctly, but now I have done and defined them for this environmental at least twice.

Certificate are stored on “Trusted Root Certification Authorities” -folder. I also stored them to different locations too, but did not make any difference.

This environmental is working on 24R1 SU1.

@Viitati

You can sometimes fix this error as an end user. Here’s how.

  • Verify the accuracy of the date and time setting of your machine. This issue might lead to certificate validation errors as this indicates to your browser that the certificate has expired.
  • Update the Microsoft Edge Browser.  An Outdated browser may not recognize newer security certificates.
  • Clear Cache and Cookies of the Microsoft Edge Browser. Sometimes cached data or cookies can cause certificate issues. Clear them and try again.

If the above steps do not resolve the issue, check the validity period of the SSL certificate.

To check the validity period of the SSL certificate, follow these steps:

  • Open the Environment URL in a browser.
  • Click the padlock icon in the address bar (next to the Environment URL).
  • Select Connection is secure.
  • Select Connection is secure and then View certificate.
  • The Certificate window will open. Check the "Validity" section for the "Issued On" and "Expires On" dates.

Contact the System Administrator if the certificate has expired.

Please note that the above steps apply specifically to the Microsoft Edge browser and may vary slightly for other browsers.

Thank You

Hi,

I tried those steps, but unfortunately it does not work.
I think the issue might be in Azure VPN Client.
I have added those certifications for this VPN too, but it looks like it is not working.

Have any of you faced any issues with certificates and/or Business Reporter, when using Azure VPN Client?

Hi @Viitati

After installing 'build.ifs.cloud' into the Trusted People location on the local machine, the issue has been resolved.

Steps to Export and Install 'build.ifs.cloud' into the Trusted People Location on Your Local Machine:

1.Go to the Login URL:

As shown in the image, click where it says, “Connection is Secure.”

2. Export 'build.ifs.cloud' to the Local Machine

3. Double-click the exported file and install the certificate on your local machine.

4. Instead of choosing the automatic installation option, browse to the certificate location and select 'Trusted People'. (Go to windows search and search for 'Manage user certificate' in there you can find the location as well)

5. After the installation is complete, go to Manage User Certificates and check if 'build.ifs.cloud' is visible in the list.

Once done, try logging into the Business Reporter again.

Hi,

Unfortunately I cannot find any build.ifs.cloud there, which I could export.
I can find only specific URL’s certificiate, which I can Export and add to Trusted Location, which I have done.

Strange is that our customer can log-in to BR, but we cannot. Only difference which I know is that we use Azure VPN Client and they do not.

Hi @Viitati

1.Go to the Login URL:

As shown in the previous image, click where it says, “Connection is Secure.”

2.Click the certificate icon mention in the below image

  1. Now you will get the Certificate viewer 'build.ifs.cloud', and go to the details tab

Now you can see the Export button.

Thanks @sanflk .

This Trusted People made the  difference. I have earlier stored this certificate on different location and it seems for some reason on this environmental that other stored location was not enough.

Now I am able to log-in for BR in this environmental too!

Appreciated for the help!
