Cancelling an obsolete location  the below error message pops up, - also after executing the pending Transport tasks, - how can we delete a n obsolete location ? 

Good morning Everyone,We have a doubt considering stock movement in IFS APP 10.Besides permission sets, availability controls and controls on sites, warehouses, locations and inventory parts, is there a way in IFS to control whether a user ou usergroup can access or not access a specific inventory location or inventory location group, besides all of the above?So for example, can we user by user, or user group by user group control which inventory locations or inventory location groups they can or cannot have access to?Thanks in advance for your inputs,Carlos Mendes 

Hi all,We are using Aurena and have set up some parts, manufactured and purchased, with some basic Product structures and routings. Parts are set up with Planning method A.On running MRP for the Parent part it errors, with the message.Error snapshot MRP Part. Site/Part S072 / AML-300-535, ABC Class C. Original error text ORA-01400: cannot insert NULL into ("IFSAPP"."MRP_PART_TAB"."SETUP_COST")Any help would be appreciated.Thanks

We are experiencing this on 2 RMAs currently, 721 and 1048. (please check the image for the error) - The commonality between the 2 RMAs is that they were processed as a Return to a different Site than the originating RMA (Original Order was placed in ST003; return being sent to ST001).- The originating RMA 720 and 1047 were set up and linked to the customer order the parts were sold under. I just tried to receive in the parts under 721 with a different lot number and was received in Successfully. We will now have to manually adjust the inventory to reflect the correct lot number which is not ideal, but the RMA can be credited.What’s the reason behind this error? 

Hello All,does anyone know how the wanted date in the purchase requisition is calculated? At least the elements manufacturing leadtime and the transport leadtime from the Supply Chain Matrix are included. But if I add them for an item I do not get the mentioned 3-9-2024?

Hi all, i get the warning “Warning using fixed date: xxxx” with data or forecast actions on demand planner in 23R2.I dont have any idea who and where set a fixed date in DP.As reaction of this warning I get results only until September 23.  Thank’s for information  

Hi,Is there any way to manually changing the lifecycle stage of just one part without affecting other parts or company level/ asset class level set-up? We have one part tagged as expired but we need to change the status since it’s not allowing us to receive the new purchases. The only way I can see if to perform a dummy receipt and an issue out to trick the system. Appreciate if anyone can share what they did.Thank you in advance

Is there a way to set a financial limit on the amount a user can inventory scrap before it needs approval? 

Hello,I have a bit of an odd one.We have managed to cancel a customer order line that had an open, unreported pick list against it.I didn’t think the system would allow this, but now the order line is showing as cancelled, but the order line parts still show as reserved and on a pick list..I’ve tried cancelling the pick list to clear the reservation, but I get an error saying the pick list cannot be reported for customer order line objects is status cancelled. Does anyone have any suggestions on how I can clear the pick list and reservation? We are on Apps 10 UPD 8. Many thanks,Steph.

Hi, Can someone explain the purpose of the Address Setup screen in Enterprise Basic Data? Even when the User defined Row Length is set to 35, I can see Addresses  3 and 4  filled in up to 100 characters. It seems Addresses 1 and 2 have no bearing on this setup anyway

Hi All, I’m doing some tests and having an issue. I’m creating a Service Quotation that is released and accepted and converted to a Work Order. I put the Work Order and the connected Work Tasks in Status ‘Released’. Now I was under the assumption that the ‘materials’ Required for the Work Task should be visible in the IPAP, correct? However they do not show up.When I take a duplicate of my Material Part Line, that duplicate line DOES show up on the IPAP.Another strange element: when I try to change the Qty on my existing Line, I get a pop-up to complete the ‘Required Fields’ but there is no more Required fill that I did not enter. So that also raises questions. What can be going wrong here? best RegardsRoel

If you go to this path, “Procurement\Receipt\Receipt”. Search with the purchase order which you have to cancelRight Click on the header, There is an option called “Cancel Arrival/Receipt”When this menu is available and when is grayed?

Is there one screen where we can see ordered qty, received qty, invoiced qty, would be great to see left to be delivered, left to be invoiced? IN CLOUD ?

Dear allWe are in testing upgrade from Apps10 to IFS Cloud and noticed the above background jobs never completing, or taking hours more.Calc_Lead_Time_Rpi.Recalc_Leadtimes takes 2 minutes 30 in Apps 10, but roughtly 7 hours in IFS Cloud.Mrp_Process_API.Sched_Pln_Network_Mrp_Proc__  takes roughly 30 minutes in Apps 10.. never seen in complete in IFS Cloud.Anybody any tips, or experiencing similar issues?We do not experience any other performance related issues.many thanksDominik

One of my customers need to transfer inventory part from one site to another (same company). And looking if it is possible to add freight costs to the Item cost when it is received at the new site.I tried to do the transfer via a shipping order but I do not see the order in “inbound shipment-->register arrival” window. Can I please get some assistance on this matter.

Hello IFS community,I would like to know if there is any possibility to build specific approval process/workflow for any record in IFS. In my case, I want to build the approval process for changing one attribute on Sales Part and it needs to be approved by 2 people (so the related Task is not an option). We have 22R2 IFS Cloud version. Hi All, Playing around with “Request Management” & “Work Task - Service”, I noticed something strange.I created a Work Task - Service with Material. The material demand shows up on the IPAP - so far so good, but when I run MRP, it does not generate a Shop Order Requisition. Although I would expect this since there is not enough material on stock of my manufactured part.I’ve added my steps below. Hi all,Our customer wants to start using master scheduling level 1, level 0 & S&OP in IFS Cloud. However, in their product strategy there are many possible SKUs (colors, sizes) in a product group, which makes it difficult to forecast each item because many variants/items are only created to order.The question is whether anyone has experience with a work around or adjustment where the product forecast is initially defined at product group (intermediate) level to drive MRP & capacity load from there and where consumption is aggregated from item to group level.It is important to note that the customer does not use Configure to Order. Thank you for thinking along and sharing recommendations.Willy

Hi!Case:Direct Delivery orders CO + PO were done Customer Order lines were unpegged from the PO After that related Direct Delivery Purchase Order was closed with “register direct delivery” (and the supplier invoice was matched and paid) Now the Customer Order is hanging in status released (unpegged from the original closed PO). How to cancel the wrongly closed direct delivery PO? RMA from CO is not available since the order was unpegged. Nor can we do an RMA manually from scratch as the CO is not delivered.
