Hello,

When running a report for aging parts from our Inventory Parts in stock page, we have multiple duplicate parts that were received on different lot batch No’s. Is there a way to prioritize shipping the oldest part received to cancel out some of these duplicate lines?

 

I’ve noticed from this report that we will sometimes ship out a part from a newly received purchase order meaning we have an older part sitting on the shelf in the meantime.

Not clear about your expectation with the report and the shipping of stock. Is this an issue with the report or an issue of shipping the oldest?

In the report - are you ordering by the Receipt Date in inventory parts in stock?

Then, with shipping the oldest stock first, have you changed the reservation options in the site to prioritize the old stock first?

Thanks for your reply! 

Our report was sorted by latest activity date but we’re realizing that this does not accurately reflect aging inventory so we are looking to sort it by receipt date instead and will take in consideration the latest activity to ensure inventory is still turning. 

I will look into our reservation options and how it’s set up now. I didn’t think of that.
