Hi All, Can you please help on this topic : I want multiple request/task/request_unit will be created on Button Click from a Custom Screen. But I am unable create multiple request/task/request_unit through business rules, only one data I can insert. Please help on this.  Note : Number of request/task/request_unit that will be created  is variable and depends on calculation between two dates.  I just want help on , how multiple request/task/request_unit data row can be inserted in business rules

Can we write a condition using expression instead of using "change" operator. I have a business rule where I have a condition using expression like below: In the same expression can we also check whether PERSON_CAL_EXCEPT.START_DTTM has been changed or not. The intention is not to add one more input param “PERSON_CAL_EXCEPT.START_DTTM”  and not to rebuild the condition again with an additional line  for checking whether PERSON_CAL_EXCEPT.START_DTTM has been changed or not.   Please help if anybody has any suggestion on this.

Can anyone please guide me how i can create a customized XML or input XML business rule where the execution point is Explicit Call. In short i am trying to create a  (use defined or customized) business rule which will support explicit call (i.e without any DML kind of operations the business rule should execute). Please provide me one sample data if possible.It will be very helpful for me.

Task templates let you add part needs based on model ID, part ID, product family & product name. i am looking to add “place ID” as one of the parameters for the part needs so if its a specific model for a specific store, they get a different part need   any one had any luck with this?

I would like to use one of the UDF fields from the Request template and when running the ECO Generation it copy that field onto the Request. is this doable? if so what additional setup would be required as just adding the field to the UI for the request template did not do it.   Thanks,   Graeme

Hi I have following error in Outbound Application message. Error while preparing input data.  Caused by: ifs.fnd.base.SystemException: Transformer error : java.lang.IndexOutOfBoundsException: Index: 5, Size: 2  Caused by: javax.xml.transform.TransformerException: java.lang.IndexOutOfBoundsException: Index: 5, Size: 2  Caused by: java.lang.IndexOutOfBoundsException: Index: 5, Size: 2   This error will be gone after reroute the application message but Multiple messages frequently appearing in failed status. Please advise.What could be  a reason and how it could be resolved permanently?

We realized that normally we can access banking transaction menu in ifs system. However,  when we trying to access this option with different computer but same user, we cannot access this option. System doesnt show this option.    To solve this issue,  I have followed this steps 1 Ifs uninstall 2 Apps/2.0 deleted 3 Net Framework uninstall 4 restart windows 5 install framework 6 install IFS But lt couldnt worked, what can we do about solving this issue. Note: Our windows 10 system recently updated.   

Has anyone created a robust work in progress report for Work Orders - to give a monetary value and breakdown. We have designed one, which takes a long while to run (due to the construction) and uses a number of assumptions which make it fall down. We have not seen an out of the box report.   We are on Apps 9 - but interested in anything in Apps 10 that would do this.   Thanks in advance

I thought I’d ask the community this question but I am pretty certain I know the answer.     Is there a way in MWO Service 10 to request parts from the main warehouse to replenish truck stock (my stock)? (NOT FOR A JOB)  As far as I know, you can create a transport task to move stock from your my stock to another mobile user or back to the main whse.  Or receive transport tasks from another user or from the main whse.  As far as I know, you cannot create replenishment orders.  Typically I have done Remote WHSE assortments to refill mobile whse’s and run the refill parts but I have never had to replenishment truck whse manually from mobile.  Is this possible?  

what do you do with your surveys? do you just leave them as data within the task? how do you give those survey results to your customers? we created a report for the output of the surveys but you have to pull that report manually. it doesn't create an attachment on the task   curious what other companies do for this

Can anyone please suggest me is there anyway where we can write conditional statement in our XML code.Like if conditions or if else condition i want to write in my XML code.Is it possible to write the conditions in XML code? My scenario is comparing tasks which are more than 3 days in  queue but not closed needs to be closed automatically with the help of scheduled process.

Hello community,   We are setting up a IFS Connect SFTP Reader, in APP10.  Completed the info required, and market the connector as enabled.  It is suppose that in this version APP10, it is not required to reset the middle server, and it should start to work after setting enabled in the connector setting   There is not any message/ and the connector look like is not working start to work.   How shall we star the connector? is there some missing action?

Is there a place to put one-time costs, such as tooling costs in the estimator?  I don’t want it to roll into the calculated cost, but I want to be able to capture the one-time cost for reference at the time of pricing and  for future reference if we get the order.

I am looking for best practices (if possible with reference) regarding IFS Applications field service work order planning and resource allocation. It seems there are 3 options: Standard work order gantt and resource allocation: very limited functionality, user unfriendly, slow; Maintenance Planning Board: complex, meant for maintenance not for field service; error prone (connection loss); PSO: complex, requires mature organisation, only applicable for short cycled work orders. Any help on this topic is highly appreciated!

In Apps 10, how do I modify a Work Task Transaction Date?  In Apps 9 we had the ability to Modify Date Applied from the Maintenance Postings Analysis.  In Apps 10, I don’t see that option from the Work Task Posting Analysis
