Service (Touch Apps, MWO, MRO)

Hi,I was wondering if anyone had ever encountered this type error (please, see screenshot below) with the Return Travel action on MWO Service.  The transactions type Travel (On Route)  and Work are recorded correctly, but "Return travel" (after completion of the task) generates the previous failed transaction.   Can anyone please help me?ThanksStefania

Hi All, When we create a new command in Command Group in My Work Details page via Apps for Page Designer, the new command appears under “Actions” in Work Details page in MWO (right side in the second image). But in Work Details - IFS cloud (Apps for Page Designer) the commands are in together (first image). We cannot see any pattern there. Is there any way to get created command to the top row in MWO app instead among Actions?   TIA.

Community, Normally we do service contract invoice plan we could utilize the IFS periodic invoice parameter, but now we have a customer that would like to invoice Immdeiate, 80 days from now, 200 days from now, which is not periodic, how to make this happen in IFS service contract? We don’t see any option could do this?Thank you.

Hi everyone,I'm currently configuring a Maintenance Survey (eForm) in IFS Cloud, to be used through the IFS MWO Service mobile app.I would like to know if there's any native way to capture the technician's GPS coordinates (latitude and longitude) at the moment they: Fill out a specific field, or Take a photo through the eForm. I've already enabled GPS permissions for the application and for the user in the Mobile Apps Administration panel.Is there any method or best practice to store the location automatically in the form responses (via metadata, script, or system field)?Any official documentation or workaround would be really helpful.Thanks in advance!

any reason fro not seeing the service notes added from mobile in the app?App to MWO services notes can be visible with same note type where the sync to mobile is enable Once after external service notes, how the customer see those notes? I checked in the service report, that is not available. Version 24R2 SU5

I'm having issues getting documents attached to a work task to appear on MWO. Does anyone have an idea what the issue could be? I am attaching a document on the Work Task in Aurena but not seeing this document in the MWO app (iOS or Windows). I already checked the following:User has access to the document (same user can see it in Aurena) Document class is set as a mobile document class and to push to mobile User has docman permissions. I can attach new documents on MWO without any issues Document is released IFSSERVICEENGAPP user is connected to the site I'm using Cleared caches, disconnected and connected MWO, initialized etcThis is on 23R1.

Hi,  I have noticed in MWO, when you answer eforms they are not fully retained when you check the next day. I completed about 6 eforms however only 2 had the answers populating when i visited the next day. Others were new. What could be the reasons all answers are not retained? Thank you, 

Hi all, We are planning on switching to Tech Portal next week and then turning off mWO. Just want to know what are the areas you’d suggest to safely and completely turn off mWO so that the system won’t unnecessarily process sync jobs etc. We are on Cloud 23R2

Hello,we are using IFS Cloud 24R2 and we have a connetion problem with IFS MWO Service downloaded from MS Store. App on Android devices works fine, but from PC cant connect. An SSL certificate is installed in PC. Any idea what can be wrong?Thank you,Michal

Hi,We are trying to setup a Database Task Schedule for Recurring Service Request Generation.  We get a background job Error everytime we run the job.The fault message is:Argument SERVICE_DELIVERY_UNIT_ must have a value, because default value do not exist.    Can’t get to the bottom of this issue.  We have a default Service Delivery Unit.  Screenshot of Database Task Schedule Screenshot of background job Should this be raised as a bug, or am I missing something. Thank you,Ed

Hi. In IFS within MWO, we can print a standard report with the following measurements: 21,59 cm x 27,94 cm  The client from MWO must print the report 7.5 cm wide. The client uses thermal printers How could we link this from MWO? Thanks!

Hi,in MWO, when we attach a picture to the task, that cannot be seen in the Mobile service report, instead if we check it from the Clould Service Engineer  we can see the attachments. What is the missing piece that I cannot see the same in the mobile?In the Report Layout I can see Task attachments are there.  How I see it in the Cloud. And the mobile Report. Please explain how to get the Pictures into the service report,as this is working fine in the clould report. ThanksKasun

In core MWO application, there are some functionalities only available in the MWO navigator section, not as separate tiles (Ex: My Misc Allocations, My Work calendar).However, if mwo users wish to see them as tiles we can add it via Navigator designer.But the problem is that when the new tiles are added, they are being added to the mwo navigator as well. Therefore, they end up as duplicates in the mwo navigator. Is there a way to keep only one entry in mwo navigator, such as hiding unnecessary items from navigator? So the questions are; how do get the standard items to be visible in the Dasbhoard OR how do I remove the standard items from the Navigator?Thanks and Regards,

Upgrading to 24R2 from APP9. We have a site setting in the maintenance section to auto create work task on WO Status Work Request. Is there a way to set what the default Order No is when the task is auto created? Right now it defaults to 10, but we’d prefer to set it to a different value? Order No could be manually changed but we’re looking for it to auto create with a different default value.  

Hi,Is there any way to know visually that an engineer has an assignment in a non-working day?For example, in this example, i cannot assign task to the second resource because I’m using the HR Schedule and the system doesnt allow to assign task there. However, the third resource is not using the HR Schedule but I can assign work even if it’s not working day for this resource.Is it possible to clearly see these situations? I am using 24R2.Thanks in advance.

Hi,In IFS Cloud Dispatch Console, is there functionality to assign multiple work tasks/ assignments to a Crew simultaneously, either via drag-and-drop or direct assignment?We are managing numerous similar tasks that need to be dispatched to a Crew efficiently. Additionally, assignments are expected to be handled individually within MWO for reporting.Bundle Tasks in 23R2 does not meet this requirement, as it lacks the necessary MWO functionality.

Is there a possibility of service tech to do communication with the customer through MWO app?  Is there a data limit when it comes to attachments (image/video/documents?)

Hi,We are currently using IFS Cloud 23R2 SU14 alongside the IFS MWO Service app, and was wondering if we were able to hide/remove the Initialize button from our engineers through page configuration or another means?We are finding our engineers are clicking this button despite numerous attempts to communicate and prevent this, as we are aware by clicking this button it will remove all transactions from the device which have yet to be sync to the back office. Appreciate any feedback or suggestions.Thanks

Hi,We have an assortment with parts that are set to be refilled with Shipment Order:  If we select “Receive into Inventory” for the Remote Warehouse in the Receive Case, it works fine, but obviously, the parts arrived in the picking inventory location as soon as the shipment is delivered.The business would prefer it if the parts were first in a sort of transit state as they want the remote warehouse operator (the remote warehouses are typically work vans and the operators are the van drivers and they use IFS MWO Service) to confirm receipt of the delivery (this must happen in the mobile device) before the parts are made available in the remote warehouse.We cannot use Transport Tasks with move to transit option as the main warehouse absolutely requires the use of “Pick by Choice” which is only available from a

Deare All, i came across a strange situation when creating/updating prices for Service Contract - Service Lines.When we create a ‘New Service Line’ we can use the invoice Type = ‘Invoice Plan’ what gives us the ability to add a Sales Part for invoicing purposes. But I notice 2 issues:The Price always comes from the Sales Part and completely ignores the existing Pricing Logic => this is very confusing and seems to be nonsensical There is no ability to set a QuantityThere is however a business need to be able to put Quantities here. For example for certain ‘Subscriptions’ where a customer pays a fee per Machine withint the Service Contract. So I want to be able to select the Sales Part that gives me the price for 1 machine, but I also want to add a Quantity so we can

Dear All, I believe I am experiencing an issue with the Price Calculation with Service Contract Periodic Prices for Service Lines.In IFS cloud, we can create a Service Contract. In this contract we add a ‘Service Line’ with invoice Type = ‘Invoice Plan’ so we can select a Sales Part that will be used for the invoicing of this Service. When we use the ‘Expand’ functionality to go into the details of the Service Line, we have a tab called ‘Periodic Prices’ - where we also have the functionality ‘Retrieve Sales Part Price’. When we click this we get a pop-up that says: “Periodic Price and Discount will be replaced with the values based on the Price Logic.
