Issue with Delayed Work Task Completion Update in IFS

Hi IFS Team,

The work task was completed on 28/12/2025 via the mobile work order; however, the status update in the IFS application was delayed by one day.

We have an event trigger that executes when the work task status changes to “Completed.” Due to the delay in the status update, the related event trigger for “Sending report to User” was also delayed.

Could you please advise on how this issue can be resolved to avoid such delays in the future?

Hi, 

What is the reason for the delay in update by one day ? Could it be that the technician completed the assignment offline and did not sync to back office until the next day or the data is synchronised but the task is prevented from updating due to assignment is still kept in the device ?

Synchonising data to backoffice in a timely manner by going online is important if technicians often work offline. If there are other events that depend on the time of task completion, this is even more important.

If the reason is the latter, there is a workaround implemented in IFS cloud. A scheduled job is available to pull completed jobs from mobile.
