Service (Touch Apps, MWO, MRO)

All I need your help.The business is starting to use Work Orders for our maintenance requirements, not live as yet. Having read the help section the employees do not need to be set up in the HR system for working time so long as they are connected to a Maintenance Organisation and that has a calendar associated with it. However I can not seem to allocate employees to Work Orders, help required.Do I need to set up the Working Hours Schedules in HR to get this to work? If yes, is there anything that I need to be aware of, process of set up, order of set up etc, thanks, Sarah

Afternoon Community,Is there anyone currently using the mWO App on Apps 8 that has set up the Purchase Request function for NoPart requisitions? Also for the Part or Material requisitions, anyone that has set this up, have you found that by pushing all inventory parts to the phone has affected the performance of the app?Thanks in advance,Hayley

In our local machine, if we have a document folder structure (Each folder having document files and a child document folder as well) is there ant possibility to insert it to IFS application/Document Folder Navigator directly ?

Hello, Currently, I have condition based PMs setup to trigger for assets in my facilities. One of the issues I’m finding is identifying PMs that are late/overdue. I do not see anywhere in IFS where I can review current open PMs that are late or PMs that were generated and completed on time. I may not be looking in the correct place for this information. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Hi,Can anyone suggest what is best way to get multiple data from one screen to another screen.Example multiple product records(these records are linked with unique id) to be displayed in task screen in tab level automatically when unique id is selected.Thanks,Ramya 

We are running Apps10 UPD8 (moving to UPD10)Our users are looking for a way to stop customers orders created from Service Contracts in Planned Status.  They have some customer order fields they want to edit, but can’t.  What they have figured out is that if the order goes on credit hold, they can edit the fields they want.  So - they want all orders to stop in planned and not go through to released.I tried creating a custom event on change when the status changes to Released, hoping the order would stay in planned.  But - in that case, it undid the whole thing and no customer order was created.Anyone have any ideas on how we could accomplish this?

IFS Apps has its own security as does AcrGIS. Is it possible to have the IFS user matched to an ArcGIS user so that the security within IFS Apps and the security in ArcGIS is in place and enabled for a user working with GIS?   

Hello,Within PSO and the Schedule Assistance function, is there anyway to view the information on a map from within that screen?Looking at the data below, I can see a specific resource has space in the afternoon, but I would like to visually see his location, and then location of the activities being offered in the bottom section.I don’t think this is possible in the ‘Mapping’ screen, as I cannot get the activities filtered to only show certain types. Just wondering if anyone uses this and is able to plot data onto a map? RegardsAdy

Customer’s Notes:APP10 UPD9 Onpremise customer Aurena onlyWhat I found was if I go to the touch app url from a browser on the scanner it redirects me to the Microsoft sign on page like it would with any of the other IFS login pages.   I can log in there and get to the touch apps web page. If I then try to go to the touch apps scan it app instead of getting the java error I get redirected to the Microsoft sign on page as above and am able to sign into the app and use it.   If I reboot the scanner and try the touch apps app right away I get the java error again.  As soon as I sign into touch apps from a browser I no longer get the java error and instead am prompted to sign in. So what would be the difference between the browser and the app that by logging in through a browser first it would then allow the scan it app to present the correct login page instead of giving us a java error?

I am setting up multiple mobile filters to minimize the amount of data transferred to a mobile device.We use Priorities to separate out pools of work orders so having 4000 orders on a device can take time to initialize.So my current filter does the followingSend all WO to my mobile if they meet the following criteria:Belongs to Site ‘D100’, is Assigned to ‘Me’ or is a priority ‘N’ (My teams priority)I can get the D100 & Priority ‘N’ to work, but cannot seem to get Assigned to me to work. There are no other permission sets to limit Site, Priorities or Worktypes in IEE, all users have access to these items.How do I bypass filters when an order is assigned to “Me”This is what I have setup under TouchApp mWorkOrder3 -> ActivitiesEntity mWorkOrder 3.ActiveSeparateSQL Where Expression&0.CONTRACT='D100' OR &0.WORK_MASTER_SIGN=FND_SESSION_API.GET_FND_USER OR &0.PRIORITY_ID ='N' Much appreciate any insight.Thank you,

IFS Apps 10 Update 9;I am attempting to perform the Direct issue of Material from the Maintenance Engineer Technician Portal.I need to be able to issue Parts from from Warehouses in different Sites.I feel that Warehouse Location and Part selection  is restricted to the data that belongs to the Site linked to the Work Task. Has anyone faced this problem and overcome it ?Was there a way to issue material from a Warehouse which belongs to a Site other than the Site on the Work Task ?

On the Time Search Screen, the calendar lookups for Work Date field are not in the baseline screen, so the customer wanted to add them in UI designer. The option for the calendar lookup is not available. Would this be an enhancement request? 

Hi all,We have problem with invoiced Customer order. The order is work order connected and type SEO. Work Order lines are transferred to CO and invoiced. Cost type is Material. Normally we credit this kind of cases in Transfer of Work Order Lines to Customer Order -window. By right mouse click in the material row usually appears option to Credit invoiced line. With this order there is no the option. I have added the print screens about the problem and below it how it usually looks like.  Does anyone have the same problem and how you have solved the case?

Has anybody configured mobility solution in Race environment installed in their own network? Our installation results into an error when the mobile app is being configured “Invalid TAS URL”, when the URL can be browsed in the mobile browser. If anyone has done this installation, can you suggest what would be wrong in our installation.We are trying to configure MWO on Race environment.

Sometimes touchapps not responding. After investigating we found a delay in ifs cloud uplink server log file. Can I know the reason for this.. According to this log file I think this issue in the ifs cloud end. Is there any way that we can check this?  

Hi,I created a command button in Object Screen of  MWO Service App 10 (IFS APP 10 UPD 8)When I click the the button on the app, it opens the link on the browser and it doesn't have the full path either.My question is why it is not opening the page inside the app as I have created a NavigationLInk item type button?  Is it the expected behavior? Thank you ,/Jeewan

Can someone help with the format of how to create rules to ignore certain failed transactions for Aurena Native mWO please.  Just like what we use to do for mWO RTM.  What is the format that we put in the path section?

I have a 1 month, 3 month and a yearly pm with replacements set, I canceled the generated work orders from the 1 month which removed the work order reference from the maintenance planning line but what happened was the work order reference in the 3 month and yearly show canceled but did not delete and now I can’t regenerate the work orders. Any ideas on how to fix this.

I’d like to know if we have any must gather troubleshooting document or procedure regarding synchronization errors in mWO.Something that taking as entry point the error that appears in the log will guide you to know where the error come from

I have set up purchase order authorisation via the Notify Me app which is working perfectly. However, I now need to create  user accounts so that they only have this access via a permission set.  Please could anyone advise me on what needs to be included in the permission set to work with the notify me app? Thank you. 

We’re experiencing some difficulties with developing new functionality on mWorkOrder Windows revision.The new entity was added to resource library, which then was successfully deployed to TAS.We see the new entity in IFS IEE and the new entity’ table in local database on mobile as well.All the data was received in local database for new entity, too.Further, our new entity contains the Temporary Client Key.In our case, mobile framework successfully generated this key.But when we try to send the new data record for mentioned entity from mobile client to server we have the problem with “real” server-side key replacement on sync.We’ve got the failed transaction with error ORA-20124: Error.NULLVALUE.Maybe we’re doing something wrong?Or maybe we don’t complete some action in development process (for example, on server side)?

Hi,using APPS10 UPD8,I’m trying to create a new work through a work task in mobile, the system ask if I want to copy customer, object and contact data from current task and I choose “No”, after that the screen shows the parent WO: #### and insert in structure is flaged. The problem is that the wo created is not in structure.  Does anyone know something about it?Tks

Hi everyone,Using mworkorder apps10 UPD8,I could see if send a work task to mobile “pool” with plan and final date, the date filter (tady, future etc) in mobile pool screen does not work.The filter consider just the allocated date, not plan date of the work task. The allocated date should work just for my service screen. The problem is that in pool situation, there is no alocation date. Is there a solution for this situation? Tks
