The documentation for OIDC is different in FSM6u8 than FSM6u5there is a reference to a "Add a platform button"  not mentioned in FSM6u5 doc.In the FSM6u5 documentation it says in the Redirect URI field, select Public client (mobile & desktop) and enter http://localhost/fsmoidc/.We are not seeing where we can select "Public client".Customer also did a cut/paste and accidentally added the period. Suggest we remove them from the document where it is listed as a URI. ADD THE NATIVE APP REGISTRATION For step 4, we do not see how we can "Add the next"  -  It appears that it is asking the URI to be http or https . The documentation says to use com.metrix.metrixmobile://fsmoidc Please advise if this step in particular needs to be updated in the documentation? or If the FSM6u8 OIDC doc application is applicable to an FSM6u5 installation?

Hi there,FSM6uxWe often fire a notification using the TEXT_LINE_CODE as the trigger to an event that is picked up fires the notification based on that even.We often use a predefined text block as a template that the person creating the note on the SmartClient adds the relevant information to and when saved the Notification message pulls in the Request_Text.Text.The notification message can be formatted using HTML and the Body Format selected = HTML. The outcome is that the content in the Notification message is formatted as required but any Carriage Return or Line Spacing that is in the Note (i.e. Request_Text.Text) is not formatted and ends up being received as a long unformatted string of text. How can I pull in the note content and send it in a formatted way? Many thanks and Best WishesAngelo

Afternoon,We currently use Service & Maintenance along side the mWO App in Apps 8 and would like to know if anyone has found a way of putting a work order on hold via IFS and not through the App. There is the option on the mWO App to put a work order on hold which feeds back to IFS (as per the below screen shot), but there is no way that I can see where you can do this without using the App (not all of our engineers use the app).I know you can put the operations part of the work order on hold, but not all our work orders contain operations so this is not ideal.Thanks in advance,Hayley

Can Azure BLOB storage be used to save document attachments in IFS ? One of our customers has reported that database is growing rapidly due to the volume of documents they attached to records. Customer would like to consider other options and BLOB storage is preferred for the purpose. Does IFS support BLOB for the function?

 Where to change idle / session time for Scan IT? After a while, the account goes into expired mode and I need to refresh the account and log in again.

All Notifications are coming through to the app as expected but once approve or rejected they remain in the Notification list. Is it possible to have these automatically removed from the app once actioned? As you can imagine the list is growing rapidly for some users.

All I need your help.The business is starting to use Work Orders for our maintenance requirements, not live as yet. Having read the help section the employees do not need to be set up in the HR system for working time so long as they are connected to a Maintenance Organisation and that has a calendar associated with it. However I can not seem to allocate employees to Work Orders, help required.Do I need to set up the Working Hours Schedules in HR to get this to work? If yes, is there anything that I need to be aware of, process of set up, order of set up etc, thanks, Sarah

In our local machine, if we have a document folder structure (Each folder having document files and a child document folder as well) is there ant possibility to insert it to IFS application/Document Folder Navigator directly ?

Hello, Currently, I have condition based PMs setup to trigger for assets in my facilities. One of the issues I’m finding is identifying PMs that are late/overdue. I do not see anywhere in IFS where I can review current open PMs that are late or PMs that were generated and completed on time. I may not be looking in the correct place for this information. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

We are running Apps10 UPD8 (moving to UPD10)Our users are looking for a way to stop customers orders created from Service Contracts in Planned Status.  They have some customer order fields they want to edit, but can’t.  What they have figured out is that if the order goes on credit hold, they can edit the fields they want.  So - they want all orders to stop in planned and not go through to released.I tried creating a custom event on change when the status changes to Released, hoping the order would stay in planned.  But - in that case, it undid the whole thing and no customer order was created.Anyone have any ideas on how we could accomplish this?

IFS Apps has its own security as does AcrGIS. Is it possible to have the IFS user matched to an ArcGIS user so that the security within IFS Apps and the security in ArcGIS is in place and enabled for a user working with GIS?   

Hello,Within PSO and the Schedule Assistance function, is there anyway to view the information on a map from within that screen?Looking at the data below, I can see a specific resource has space in the afternoon, but I would like to visually see his location, and then location of the activities being offered in the bottom section.I don’t think this is possible in the ‘Mapping’ screen, as I cannot get the activities filtered to only show certain types. Just wondering if anyone uses this and is able to plot data onto a map? RegardsAdy

Customer’s Notes:APP10 UPD9 Onpremise customer Aurena onlyWhat I found was if I go to the touch app url from a browser on the scanner it redirects me to the Microsoft sign on page like it would with any of the other IFS login pages.   I can log in there and get to the touch apps web page. If I then try to go to the touch apps scan it app instead of getting the java error I get redirected to the Microsoft sign on page as above and am able to sign into the app and use it.   If I reboot the scanner and try the touch apps app right away I get the java error again.  As soon as I sign into touch apps from a browser I no longer get the java error and instead am prompted to sign in. So what would be the difference between the browser and the app that by logging in through a browser first it would then allow the scan it app to present the correct login page instead of giving us a java error?

IFS Apps 10 Update 9;I am attempting to perform the Direct issue of Material from the Maintenance Engineer Technician Portal.I need to be able to issue Parts from from Warehouses in different Sites.I feel that Warehouse Location and Part selection  is restricted to the data that belongs to the Site linked to the Work Task. Has anyone faced this problem and overcome it ?Was there a way to issue material from a Warehouse which belongs to a Site other than the Site on the Work Task ?

On the Time Search Screen, the calendar lookups for Work Date field are not in the baseline screen, so the customer wanted to add them in UI designer. The option for the calendar lookup is not available. Would this be an enhancement request? 

Hi all,We have problem with invoiced Customer order. The order is work order connected and type SEO. Work Order lines are transferred to CO and invoiced. Cost type is Material. Normally we credit this kind of cases in Transfer of Work Order Lines to Customer Order -window. By right mouse click in the material row usually appears option to Credit invoiced line. With this order there is no the option. I have added the print screens about the problem and below it how it usually looks like.  Does anyone have the same problem and how you have solved the case?

Has anybody configured mobility solution in Race environment installed in their own network? Our installation results into an error when the mobile app is being configured “Invalid TAS URL”, when the URL can be browsed in the mobile browser. If anyone has done this installation, can you suggest what would be wrong in our installation.We are trying to configure MWO on Race environment.

Sometimes touchapps not responding. After investigating we found a delay in ifs cloud uplink server log file. Can I know the reason for this.. According to this log file I think this issue in the ifs cloud end. Is there any way that we can check this?  

Hi,I created a command button in Object Screen of  MWO Service App 10 (IFS APP 10 UPD 8)When I click the the button on the app, it opens the link on the browser and it doesn't have the full path either.My question is why it is not opening the page inside the app as I have created a NavigationLInk item type button?  Is it the expected behavior? Thank you ,/Jeewan

Can someone help with the format of how to create rules to ignore certain failed transactions for Aurena Native mWO please.  Just like what we use to do for mWO RTM.  What is the format that we put in the path section?

I have a 1 month, 3 month and a yearly pm with replacements set, I canceled the generated work orders from the 1 month which removed the work order reference from the maintenance planning line but what happened was the work order reference in the 3 month and yearly show canceled but did not delete and now I can’t regenerate the work orders. Any ideas on how to fix this.
