Service (Touch Apps, MWO, MRO)

Work Order, Work Task and Assignment all 3 have their own statusses, but there are also relations like: When all Work Tasks transactions are reported, Work Order status will be Reported. Where can I find the business logic between all the statusses of Work Order, Task and Assignment?

In adding a new question to an exsting eForm, it was linked to an existing Qualifying question. Now need to set as not Dependent and delete the question. When i try to delete, i get the following error

Hi All,We are using IFS cloud 23R1and MWO app version ( IFS MWO Service 24.3.1). Resource Lov is not getting populated when we select the resource group in Tools section.Resource type is ‘Tools/equipment group’. Resource is getting populated in IFS cloud. But not in MWO. Is there any basic data set up we are missing for MWO?Thank you in advance.   

Hi,We have a scenario like this with one of our customers. Under the electrical maintenance department, there are sub-resource groups such as electrical foreman and electrical expert foreman. A separate hourly cost is required for each group. Our personnel are defined within these sub-resource groups. When the maintenance order is planned, the resource plan is made according to the top group such as electrical maintenance resource group. What we want in the technical portal is that anyone can get the job, regardless of whether it is a foreman or a specialist foreman. Currently, the maintenance personnel we observe in IFS can view and operate the jobs assigned to whatever sub-resource group is defined. How can we solve this situation?

HI All,We are having an issue in Synching MWO maintenance with our IFS cloud (version 23 R1 SU6). The synchronization task is created and its state is always posted. Whenever I open the app on the mobile, the Sync is automatically started and never finishes.The logs has no error messages. All the messages are info only.Any help greatly appreciated.Thanks Jaleel

HiDoes anyone know if it is possible to provide an alternate description for a Serial Object other than the Mater Part description?In setting up a new contract, the teams were using a system where the Master Part description is one thing and the Serial Object (Equipment) description was more of their own making.This is on Apps 9 SP11

After upgrading the IFS Touch Apps Server to IFS Apps 10 Update 22.On opening the Touch Apps Server, entering the System ID and clicking Next I received the following error: When installing the Touch Apps Server the IFSTAS and IFSMOBILITY passwords had to be changed as there was no record of them available.We are using Azure Active Directory but changed this IFS Database so that after entering the System ID and clicking Next we would be able to access the Login page and enter ifsapp.Any ideas?

Hi,Is it possible to Hide the ‘My Misc Allocations’ screen from mWO Service? I’ve tried revoking the Security Group ‘CalendarBasedJobs’ from the Security Grants by Permission Set screen but no luck. Cleared the Security Cache and Refreshed Server Cache as well. Is there any other Security Group related to this screen?  Kind RegardsPriyanka Cecilia

Hello,I am trying to run TouchApps on test environment(After coming price quote, we will decide to buy or not).I created a Certificate Sign Request(CSR) for IFS-TEST and signed from domain root CA. After that I reconfigure IFS by Installer. New certificate is running with IFS without any problem. Windows Mobile IFS Aurena NotifyMe10 is running well.I am trying to use android Aurena NotifyMe10. I installed root CA ceritificate, IFS-Test and TouchApps Server Certificates on android phone too. I can see IFS-Test login sceen and I can input username and password. After typing credentials its giving an error like that.authorizationexception: {“type”:0,”code”:3,”errordescription”:”network error”}Are there any solution for this problem?

Hi, I am having an issue assigning service technicians to maintenance organizations and reporting time against them. We do not use the HR module but I have them in as company employees. They have primary sites assigned to them in sites per user. They are assigned to a resource group that is used in Maintenance and Service. I cannot assign them to a maintenance organization nor can I report time for them in the work task. I checked the Maintenance tab in Site and don’t see anything related there. What else can I do to get the Service techs into maintenance orgs?

HelloMy Work Assignment is in Waiting at Location Status, i need to cancel the work task. not able to cancel it, after deleting the Work task clocking. if i change to incomplete work Assignment also no result. is there any way to cancel work task which is in work assignment status as Waiting at Location Status.Its in 23R2. 

HelloIs it possible to include service quotes in the MWO application in addition to request quotes? And can service quotes generated from a work order also be displayed in the MWO application? 

Hello, I have a problem with the synchronisation of Service Notes from MWO to Cloud in 23R2. I am able to see in Cloud the changes made to the notes in MWO only after initializing MWO. I have tried with the synchronisation rules and server cache, but it is still not working. Does anyone have any ideas how this would work?Thank you very much! Best regards,Iulia

I'm looking for guidance on modifying the fields displayed in the Work Task section of the MWO app, specifically on the "My Work" tile.Could anyone advise on how to customize which fields are shown, such as description, work type, priority, object, etc.?Additionally, if we need to introduce a new field for display purposes, what's the process for adding it?Your insights would be greatly appreciated. Hi,This problem is occurring in IFS APPS8.I have made changes to a custom enumeration list logged on as IFSAPP. Published the changes and reloaded the configuration and verified that the changes are then visible in the relevant screen which is  Report in Work Order.However, when I log in as another user the list of values that should appear as a drop down list for the relevant column in the Report in Work Order screen is blank. 2 values were added to a list that originally contained 3 values.While logged on as user nguild (instead of IFSAPP) I can actually go to the Custom Enumeration screen (view Custom Objects from the context menu) and view all of the values in the list but I can’t see the

Is there a way to work offline in the MWO Maintenance application? And if so, will you please explain how? Right now when we login we have to enter the server URL. Thank you!   

Hello, Glad there is now a new Parts Usage - Service view in the new 23R1, but I noticed that the count/total does not account for those parts/materials that were also unissued where it does not reflect the true issued quantity.Is there a possible fix? 

Hello,We installed TouchApps Server to test environment and we are trying to test NotifyMe application. Someones said that TouchApps Server needs paid license. Is it true?

Tetra Pak uses Pool Keep tasks to report Internal work. The pool keep tasks stay in the mwo app for a long duration and due to that if all the pool keep tasks are allowed in the app it may cause performance issues. Due to this we have introduced an entity filter, which will filter out the Pool keep tasks belong to the Resource’s Primary site and will synchronize to the mwo application. This works fine in the mwo users perspective as they only see the pool keep tasks belong to the primary site.  However, creating the entity filter does not stop triggering the Push Queue by the unwanted pool keep tasks. Even though they are (pool keep tasks created for sites other than the primary site) not shown in the app, the Push Queue keep getting triggers. This can cause Performance issues.  To stop push queue getting triggers, the ownership query of the Entity need to be altered. This cannot be done through configuration.
