Hi all,

In IFS MWO Service 10. Our technicians can see the field “Long description” that is generated on WT from the PM actions “Work description”.

However, the field “Job description”, that is generated on PM action (via work template) and connected WT is not displayed in MWO.

How do we achieve this?

Thank you.

Hi Alexander

The latter. The job descriptions are present on all work tasks, but we cannot see them under Task Information in MWO. How do I activate this field?

I was not able to find any direct information about this in the documentation you sent.

There is a chapter “Create a Custom Field (on Work Task Entity)” that should explain exactly what you need. For you it’s even easier as the field already exists.

Is the question 1) how to get the “Job description” onto the task or 2) how to get it over to MWO?

In case of 2) have a look at the configuration section in here: IFS Cloud - MWO Service demystified (24R1) | IFS Community. This is for IFS Cloud, but worth a try in Apps10.
